Barack Obama admitted to the White House Meeting on Exports and Job Creation that America and American consumers will not be in the same position after the last several years. Obama also lectured China and Germany about exporting their goods to America.
This radical ACORN instructor is clueless on economic policy.

“You mentioned China, Germany, and some other countries, part of this global rebalancing is that they’re going to have to make some decisions as well about how they are approaching their domestic markets. And, part of the bargain I think we’re trying to strike within the G20 framework is that we’re trying to take on our responsibilities in terms of improving our savings rate(?). You, on the other hand, have to recognize that a purely export driven strategy of economic growth is not going to work. American consumers are just not going to be in the same position and the American government is not going to be in the same position that it’s been in over the last several years.”

Well, given that rebalancing, and how the US won’t be the wealthiest country in the world any longer, then we have to cut out, forever, all that foreign aid to Mexico, India, Egypt, Africa, Latin America, Haiti and the countless Asian and other countries that always have their hands out. Also, given the fact that we’ve paid trillions into the IMF, they need to start paying us back, with interest, and given the tremendous amount of debt owed to us by poor countries that we’ve forgiven, our debt should just be written off and forgiven.
Germany owes us big time, for spending vast sums on the Marshall Plan, and they need to start kicking in, and given how Obama adores the despots in China, India the Arab states, Brazil and Russia, he needs to inform them that the obligation to give hundreds of billions per year to “poor” countries, is now theirs, and they must given generously, or else they are corrupt, greedy and racist.

This is all part of a calculated effort from Obama. When Obama gave his speech to the U.N. last Sept., I noticed the words “equal footing” coming out of his mouth repeatedly as he described how the US is no better than any other other country on the face of the earth, including rouge countries (Libyan leader Khaddafi really liked that and made mention of it in his speech on the floor of the U.N.). Barack Obama and people in his cabinet use these phrases.. ‘the US is on equal footing with other countries around the world’ or ‘we can’t be #1 forever and that’s good’.

He said we’re not going to have a negative savings rate like we did in 2007-08. We’ve been exporting a lot in the past decade or so, because our savings rate was in the 0-2% and even went negative, so obviously we have to change that, lest we have another “Worst Crisis Since the Great Depression.”
