Awful lib Rep. Steve Cohen compared tea party protesters to the KKK in an interview this week. Of course, he has nothing to back up these hateful accusations but it’s not like the media is going to correct him. We all know that won’t happen.
News Alert reported:

Rep. Steve Cohen:

“The tea party people are kind of without robes and hoods. They have really shown a very hardcore angry side of America that is against any type of diversity. We saw opposition to African-Americans, hostility towards gays, hostility towards anyone who, you know, just wasn’t a clone of George Wallace’s fan club.”

Do you suppose Cohen will apologize now that Rep. Cleaver admitted the spitting story was all made up?

  1. Wasn”t George Wallace one of their.

  2. He’s a Southern Democrat so he should know first hand what it’s like to wear a hooded robe.

  3. That’s what I thought, Avery. What political party was George Wallace a member of?
    .

  4. It’s a brilliant strategy to keep insulting the electorate by impugning its morality and intelligence. By the time November rolls around most Americans will heartily support those who:

    1. wrote the worst piece of legislation in American history;

    2. ignored the will of the people;

    3. sold their votes for money;

    4. exempted themselves from the legislation they forced on us;

    5. and accused us of being stupid, racist terrorists for opposing them.

    Yes, all will be forgiven by November. Not only that, we’ll be grateful to the Democrats for their oppression and insults.

  5. Is he impyling that Sen. Byrd supports of the Tea Party movement??

  6. Pissing on millions of potential voters with insults, lies and false accusations is not a winning strategy.
    Politicians win or lose their jobs in elections and not by how much hate filled rhetoric they can trade amongst themselves.
    They are so gonna’ pay for this in November.
    I will lay waste to my credit card just to see it happen.

  7. I believe Obama is one of the most hateful individuals I have seen in the public arena. My 84 year old mother says she has never seen such behavior from a president. The Dems follow the Pied Piper to their impending doom, and apparently take their talking points from the Obama playbook.

    I’ve been to tea parties and the people I talk to stick to facts and are upset about the tremendous amount of spending and abuse of power. There is nothing hateful about those points…they are expressing their First Amendment right to speak. Obama is the one stoking this nastiness. I am an American who doesn’t listen to anything the Democrats have to say any more. According to polls, I am in the majority. You would think they would stop this assault on law abiding citizens. Last time I looked at the blogs, the violence done at tea parties were carried out by the left.

    I’d love to see Obama, Reid and Pelosi tried for treason for not upholding the Constitution. Sigh. A gal can have her fantasies!

  8. Perhaps Mr. Cohen would prefer George Lincoln Rockwell’s crowd???

  9. Liberals are having a meltdown because overwelmingly, people are opposed to NAZIism takeover by this Soviet Style Administration.

  10. Vote his ass out.

  11. Steve Cohen is a half-wit. He apparently thinks the right is so stupid that it only opposes Obama’s agenda because Mr. Obama is black (actually, only half black). I hope someday Cohen will concede that we oppose Obama and his policies because they are socialistic in nature and totally go against the grain of what this country stands for.

    C’mon November!!!

  12. Archbishop Rowan Pigswilliams snubs Pope

    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/faith/article7086314.ece#cid=OTC-RSS&attr=797084

    Like a Druidic emissary from Tuatha Dé Danaan, the mythic inhabitants of Ireland, the Archbishop of Canterbury will lob a spiritual depth charge at Pope Benedict XVI on Monday when he damns the Catholic Church in Ireland as having lost all credibility.

    Dr Williams also reveals on the BBC Radio 4 programme Start the Week that he is withholding his blessing from Anglicans who choose to take advantage of the Pope’s offer of a special home in the Catholic Church for disaffected Anglicans. “God bless them. I don’t,” he says, witheringly.

  13. I believe Obama is one of the most hateful individuals I have seen in the public arena.

    Agreed. A smart man would have gone out after this horrifying period of national tumult and tried to heal the wounds inflicted by the health-care debate.

    What is Obama doing? Taunting, insulting, criticizing, and sneering. He can’t resist crowing. He’s easily the most unpresidential president of modern times.

    A day after 9/11 Bill Clinton went down to where the World Trade Center stood and simply listened to people who were looking for lost relatives. He reassured them with his massive, calm, 6′ 4″ presence. He didn’t even speak. All he did was examine the photos that people showed him, listen, and then hug them. He was utterly presidential, and I say that as someone who despises Clinton.

    Obama is a small-minded, miserable, negative, incompetent embarrassment who will be tossed out on his arrogant rear end in 2012. He will be regarded as a bad dream, the disgusting creep that the country picked up in a bar when it was on a bender and now wants to forget.

  14. Pity me. Cohen is my Congressman. Although white and Jewish, he proudly proclaims he is a liberal as a black woman. National Review has a nice post about his statements in a recent congressional hearing regarding returning voting rights to felons. His only opposition is for the democratic nomination in his district. His opponent is W.W Herrington, the former mayor of Memphis – a race-baiting, crooked demagogue. I plan to vote for the crook over the pandering fool.

  15. It’s OK. The Mooslimes will fine tune his circumcision soon enough …

    Had.it.too.good.for.too.long.

  16. The Congressional Black Caucus blew off this Boot-Licker in spite of his claim his own district is mostly black.

    Oh… the delicious taste of anti-Semitism.

  17. i was gonna say, wasnt the kkk the terrorist wing of the democrats… my how people dont know their history…

  18. NOW Dawkins wonders if Christianity disappearing might be a very bad thing

    http://www.moonbattery.com/archives/2010/04/theophobe-leade.html

    Richard Dawkins, author of The God Delusion, said: “There are no Christians, as far as I know, blowing up buildings. I am not aware of any Christian suicide bombers. I am not aware of any major Christian denomination that believes the penalty for apostasy is death. I have mixed feelings about the decline of Christianity, in so far as Christianity might be a bulwark against something worse.”

  19. You know, every time one of these maroons come out and say these things, it makes me want to attend a Tea Party. I mean, they’re practically goading me into it.

    Me and how many others?
