Hmm… AFL-CIO President Suddenly Remembers Witnessing Racist Attacks Against Black Caucus Members?

Yesterday, when confronted by Andrew Breitbart about the bogus racist charges by Black Caucus members, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka said he personally witnessed the spitting (didn’t happen) and name-calling (didn’t happen) on March 20 in Washington DC.

Trumka was protesting in Pennsylvania on March 19th, the day before the reported racial attack in Washington DC.
Philly.com reported:
Big day for labor news in Philadelphia today. Richard Trumka, the former Pennsylvania coal miner and Villanova law school grad, who heads the nation’s largest labor federation, will be at two rallies. At 10:15 a.m., he’ll be outside of Temple University hospital in support of 1,500 nurses and professionals who will deliver a strike notice to the hospital.
Then at 11:45 a.m., he’ll switch gears and talk about banking at Paine Plaza, which is essentially at 15th and JFK Blvd. That’s where Bank of America has an office and it’s also the place where Trumka will urge banks to start lending money, so that businesses can grow and create jobs. The bank event will be replicated in 200 places across the country.

Then, the following week he said he saw Republican Congressman encouraging the tea party patriots outside of the US Capitol on Sunday March 21.
This is from his statement released on March 25:
But the threats and the violence being directed at elected officials that had the courage to take a stand represent an ugly appeal to fear and division. And they come at a dangerous cost.
When I was at the Capitol on Sunday, I saw Republican lawmakers come out onto balconies and egg on hateful crowds like giddy teenagers, waving signs and chanting to fire up the protestors. They set the foundation for a dangerous climate, and they must take the lead in stopping it.
That’s odd.
If he witnessed Black Caucus members being spit on and called the n-word as he claimed yesterday when he was confronted by Andrew Breitbart, you’d think it would have made it in his March 25th statement.
Or, maybe this big labor lib is lying?
Hmm.
Was he even in Washington DC on March 20th? Who knows.

He and the other union thugs have a vested interest in keeping Obama and the Democrats in power as long as possible, and by any means necessary. They are cleaning up in taxpayer money since The One took office – nearly half the stimulus money, for their appetizer.
It should be verifiable when the guy was on March 20, but the fact he did not mention this in his March 25 statement is rather telling.

Regarding Trumka’s declared memory, I recall something similar about ten years ago. Weakest Link hostess Anne Robinson said she thought Americans were stupid. While supporting this point, she told a newspaper reporter, “I saw George Bush at a benefit concert actually waving at Stevie Wonder… Someone had to tell him ‘he can’t see you.’ ”
However, the action she was referring to didn’t happen. It was a little joke item in the Washington Post.
Evidently Trumka and Robinson have something in common: the both will tell people they remember seeing the gossip they read.

See, I’ve been reading on Custer’s Last Stand the past few days and looked through the initial reports and testemonies compared to the later testemonies and this reminds me of the “miraculously mulitplying Indian warriors” at Little Bighorn.

I don’t know what SEIU is really trying to accomplish, on the surface, it seems like it will split the D vote but nothing is a sure thing. There are some good conservative candidates running, primaries are May 4th…but I keep running into people who are more informed on Tiger Woods personal life, American Idol contestants than politics…how sad it that???
I have ran into other people who are upset with the direction our country is headed but haven’t taken the initiative to research candidates or get involved by volunteering, etc.
We have much work to do, 2010 elections are key but it starts with primaries…wake up America!
