Glenn Beck Answers Joe Klein: You Lefties Used the Regime Word 6,500 Times During the Bush Years
Although it wasn’t the first time he’s accused conservatives of sedition, Joe Klein felt the need to write it on a napkin before he went on with Chris Matthews yesterday… for effect. He then accused Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin of sedition for speaking out against Barack Obama’s disastrous agenda for America.
Today Glenn Beck answered Joe Klein:

“I love my country. I don’t even understand how speaking out can be sedition but that’s what Klein said about me and Sarah Palin and then Rush over the weekend… The only piece of evidence he sited was that Rush used the word “regime.” Well maybe John (Heilemann) should have done a little napkin journalism and googling before he went on the air as well. It may have helped him find out that the term “regime” was used 6,500 times to refer to the Bush Administration since January 20, 2001. The host he was talking to (Chris Matthews) used the term “regime” to describe Bush and Heilemann himself used regime to describe the Obama Administration at least four times. So, I’m trying to figure out how they can use the word regime and it’s not a problem and Rush uses it. See, it’s a game.”

I don’t know if Glenn would win or not (probably not, since I doubt he’s suffered monetary damages). But even if he lost it would send a message to the lunatic left that they better be prepared to pay through the nose in legal fees to defend themselves when they make such ridiculous charges.

["On November 5, 2009, the United States Army was viciously attacked from within by an ideologue bent on pursuing an agenda of Islamist extremism. These critical lines are completely missing from the Pentagon's 84-page report reviewing the massacre of 13 U.S. soldiers and contractors at Fort Hood. Yet this is only one of many omissions that the Pentagon should pursue from this incident.

The Pentagon’s review should be revised to look at the broader picture of Hasan’s path to radicalization through political Islam. They should analyze the warning signs that were visible and determine how the military could have better protected its soldiers. They should look at the threat that political Islam and its forms of radicalization have upon American Muslims and contractors that we employ abroad, like the informant who killed seven CIA officers last December.
The protection of our forces requires a better understanding of the enemy we face. An honest assessment of the Fort Hood massacre would not limit the scope of the review.
