Geraldo Mocks Tea Party Patriots: Marches With "Cash for Stash" Sign Across Set (Video)

Geraldo Rivera, not a fan of the tea party protest movement, mocked the protesters tonight during his show. The liberal FOX News host marched across his set with a “Stash for Cash” sign during a segment by Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Folks, Fox is only trying to keep everyone or all political parties watching. Beck gets crazy with his chalk board, the only difference with Beck and Geraldo, Beck is doing honest work while Geraldo is only mocking his viewers.
Soros and Media Matters, as well as the LA Times took some information about the Cincy Tea Party, added in a little hyperbole, and Fox Execs rushed Sean back to NYC, disappointing the crowd in Cincinnati.
The libs might have won in Cincy but the majority of attempts of disparaging the Tea Parties fell flat thanks to volunteers and patriots who exposed the leftist lies and violence they tried to create.
The libs are very scared of the Tea Parties and they will do anything to try and turn the tide, even if it means to tell untruths, cheat steal or get violent.

Pictures of Geraldo and John Stossel were shown on Fox and Friends this morning because of a story about some facial hair advocates who are trying to get some stimulus $$$$ to reimburse them for the care of their facial hair. They claim that men with moustaches make more money than clean-shaven men, and, therefore, benefit the economy more. They want $250/year for reimbursement for their moustache wax and other grooming supplies. That’s why his sign said “Stash for Cash”. I don’t believe he was making fun of the tea party – even though he is a liberal and he disagrees with them.

Somehow, it doesn’t seem like the best marketing strategy to mock and insult your potential viewers when your ratings are swirling down the toilet.

Maria#19 is right. Geraldo was referring to the story on Fox news that morning that guys with mustaches are asking for a tax credit or refund. If you look at the sign it even says “Cash for Stache.” So Jim might want to correct that.

But he was making fun of the Tea Partiers by carrying a sign and pretending to protest. You know this when you take it in context with the rest of his show.

Deanna, are you certain this is associated with facial hair? I had heard he was critiquing his meaningless career which has been associated with paying off bottom feeders for stories, particularly illustrated by the Capone “secret stash” vault story which was an utter bust.
I’d be careful on this one; it appears we may have had a confessional moment from Geraldo and we wouldn’t want to misinterpret it and deprive him of the healing power of acknowledging his entire professional experience has been a meaningless fraud.

Maria and Deanna are right–I saw the
Fox morning show also. Someone has made mustaches to put on the front grill of cars–so they showed that also.
Since Geraldo and his mustache were mentioned in the segment — I guess he thought this was really clever.
