The gross domestic product just dropped from 5.7% to 3.2% in one quarter.
Obama says we’re heading in the right direction?
Obama’s comments on the drop in the GDP today:
“The economy that was losing jobs a year ago is creating jobs today. After the single biggest economic crisis in our lifetimes, we’re heading in the right direction. We’re moving forward. Our economy is stronger — that economic heartbeat is growing stronger. But I measure progress by a different pulse.”
And, that’s just one reason why ACORN organizers don’t make the best presidents.

Someone needs to draw an editorial cartoon, showing Obama looking at a graph of the GDP’s decline, which is obviously-to-the-viewer an upside-down graph, and have him saying this. Or one of him behind the wheel of a car, studying an upside-down map.
Dude is “taking this plane to Cuba!” as, not coincidentally, a hijacker might say.

No true economic recovery will begin until these radical thug Democrats are thrown out, as far away from the levers of power as possible, for no sane person would invest with this gang of socialist rabble-rousers in charge. We’ve been on a steady decline from 2006, when the Dems took over Congress, and it accelerated dramatically in Nov 2009, after BO won.
Can’t come soon enough. On the plus side, even here in SoCal, I’m not seeing many BO stickers, looks like the most popular thing to do is to peel em off, and pretend you did not vote for the guy. Better late than never, but still, its not like any of this is unexpected…

Remember that the GDP is being measured in dollars and the dollar is losing value against any currency of any sound industrial country. In January, 2009 the DOW, measured in Canadian dollars, was around 11,000; the exchange rate was .83 USD = 1 CAD. Today, the DOW measured in Canadian dollars is still about 11,000; the exchange rate is 1 USD <= 1 CAD.
Our wealth did not rise with the DOW and the GDP; rather our measuring stick became smaller.
We are on a downward spiral until we start generating wealth in this country rather than growing our government and sending it abroad.

Please, consider that sequece of events:
1. In 2008 Russians invaded Georgia in attempt to stop the construction of Nambucco gas pipeline bypassing Russia. The didn’t manage to achieve that but annected Abhasia and North Ossetia. They are also in a striking distance from the pipeline.
2. Recently, the Polish President – Lech Kaczynski, a strong friend of the US and Israel and an anti-Russian was killed in an “accident” in Belorussia with his entire entourage and with the entire Polish miltary leadership.
3. A few days ago, Ukrainian “president” a thug, criminal and a Russian stooge signed a 40 years contract allowing Russia acces to Black Sea. With that, Russia practically got in the possesion of the entire Eastern Ukraine.
4. The “accident” in Gulf Of Mexico took place exactly when Obama, under the relentless pressure applied by Palin, mad a tactical move to allow some off shore drilling.
5. It is also exactly at the moment when Russia began drilling off Cuba’s shore.
6. Technically it is an incredibly easy to cause an accident of the drilling platform and the investigation could take years.
7. It is a public secret that for Soviet Union – Russia it has always been a strategic aim to gain her status as an energy super-power while at the same time weakening the US as an domestic energy producer. And they have succeeded handsomely.
8. It is more than possible that they will attempt to assassinate Palin with her entire family if she manages to win the GOP’s nomination for the US Presidency.
They know very well that her eventual ascendacy as the US most powerful woman will mean revolutionary changes in the US energy policy, which would supsequently spell a disaster for Russia’s plans.
If they (the Russians) could assassinate Polish President with his people (increasingly likely scenario) they won’t hesitate for a second with incinerating their most powerful enemy Sarah Palin.

The GDP did NOT drop 2.5% last quarter. The rate of growth in the GDP was 3.2%, which was 2.5% lower than the rate of growth last quarter. Still not great news, but it IS a growth in the GDP. Calling a drop in the rate of growth of GDP a drop in the GDP itself just makes you look bad.
Lord knows there more than enough to complain about without making s*** up.
