In February top global warming expert Professor Phil Jones, the former director of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU), admitted that global warming was a fraud. He admitted:

* Data for vital ‘hockey stick graph’ had gone missing
* There had been no global warming since 1995
* Warming periods have happened before – but NOT due to man-made changes
* There was a tendency in the IPCC reports to leave out inconvenient findings, especially in the parts most likely to be read by policy makers.

Jones also admitted that there had been no significant global warming in the last 15 years. Despite these facts, CPU fraudsters bilked the EU and US for £800,000 ($1,253,624.84) annually for the last 20 years.

Next week Lindsey Graham will push the biggest tax on the American public in the nation’s history. Graham, along with fellow progressives John Kerry and Joe Lieberman, are going to push their cap and trade bill in the US Senate. The bill will cause electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket and will bankrupt the coal industry.

But seven of ten Americans oppose the plan.
American Solutions reported:

Senators Kerry, Graham, and Lieberman are getting ready to introduce a bill in the U.S. Senate that will impose dramatically higher gas taxes, which 7 in 10 Americans oppose according to a new American Solutions poll.

71% of respondents oppose higher gas taxes (sometimes called “linked carbon fees”) in order to limit greenhouse gases, while 78% believe that higher gas taxes will either kill jobs or have no effect on job growth.

Meanwhile, 84% of all adults and 61% of independent voters have very little or no confidence that a fuel tax will lead to lower greenhouse gas emissions.

The poll also found that 64% of all adults are less likely to support a candidate for Congress who supports a gas tax, and 67% of independent voters are much more likely not to support a gas-tax candidate.

Gas prices are already rising, and now Senators Kerry, Graham, and Lieberman want to increase the price of a gallon of gas with a new tax that Americans overwhelmingly oppose.

  1. 71 percent oppose. Sorry, not enough. It gets passed.

  2. Jim,
Sorry to go off-topic on you right away but I’m so incensed right now. I don’t know how I’ve never heard this before but it sickens me more than anything I’ve ever heard coming from our government. How is this man still walking free…..

    http://volokh.com/2010/04/19/waco/

  3. You guys are just like prostitutes. You want what is in my pants. My wallet. Your the second oldest profession with a striking resemblence to the first. I earned it go pound sand. powder is dry. revolution up, tyranny down.

  4. It has nothing to do with the hockey stick graph or climate change. Our government has run out of money, so they will use any and all schemes in order to raises taxes. First they will take care of our health by, you gueesed it, raising taxes. next they will save the environment by, you guessed it again, a bigger tax increase.
like using a battering ram on our economy and freedoms. they all must go.

  5. Gas prices ten years ago were about $1.45 on average. We use more gas today and we have more too. We found more oil reserves which will last over 100 years. Al Gore asks one to support him by handing over your bank account. Do not do it , it is a leftist scam to take all your money so he can make another stupid fraudualent movie and win garbadge awards issued by idiots.

  6. The government already gets more than triple in taxes on each gallon what the Oil companies get in profits. They are the oil barons. This has GOT TO STOP!

  7. If it comes down to 50+1 and that one is Lindsey they may need to stay in the minority for another 2 years and then with Lindsey out or running as a dem then do GOP deserve the majority.

  8. I propose an Opportunistic, Differential Net Future Value Tax to solve this all. Research experts with greater statistical integrity than those associated with the global warming models have concluded that it’s the single most viable, easy, painless yet totally effective way of ending our national debt while avoiding political backlash.

    The tax works like this:

    1. it calculates the net future value of earnings on each person residing within the U.S., and assesses a tax of 1% of that value per year. College kids can expect to have a total income NFV in the millions (especially if when we factor in Obamaflation, where it’ll take $10,000 to buy a loaf of bread in just a few years). The young can expect to pay $20K+ in taxes right now, while the old and retired are off scott-free since they’re fully depreciated assets lacking any future earnings potential.

2.It realizes earnings differential, especially by career choice and political orientation. Young, liberal, pot-smoking journalism major? You’re in for a 98% income tax since 98% of $25K/year ain’t much, but hell, you’ll still be living in your parents basement until age 38 (at which point you’ll move out and move in with a woman seeking a marriage of convenience to give cover to her lesbian lifestyle in her corporate world).

The best thing about this model is that it taxes those who believe the most in taxes, while liberating those who actually produce and provide for the advancement of the economy to utilize those same dollars in a productive manner. 23-year-old MoveOn.org bloggers have less of a chance of helping society than 1,000 monkeys armed with typewriters and a few infinities, so we might as well recognize a societal loss for what it is and capture the few tax dollars up front before a few decades of substance abuse take their toll.

  9. Vote them all out!

  10. Here’s a simple test of a politician: if he or she believes in the hoax of “man-made climate change”, vote them out of office. Belief in this disproven theory shows an inability to think for one’s self, which should be an instant disqualifier for office of any type.
America, we’ve a big job to do. We must purge Washington of this type of politician and replace them with common-sense conservatives. Nothing less than the future of the republic is at stake.

  11. This is being taught in schools. If they can’t prove man-made climate change with science, they will teach it until it is accepted as fact. Politicians will pay for their gaseous emissions in November.

  12. Don’t blame gayness for Lindsey’s RINO-
monstrosities. Just like we shouldn’t offend rats and weasels by comparing Rep. Waxman to them. Lindsey must think that the next big coup to increasing republican numbers will come from the young envirowackos. He could not be more wrong. But never one to peddle illfounded and dangerous legislation, Lindsey is latching onto a non solution to a non existent problem that will cause a collapse of the economy, in the name of bipartisanship.
This is truly sad and what’ worse is that we have five more years of him in the Senate before the people of his state can retire him permanently.
