How’s that hopey-changey thing working out for ya?
After 14 months in office 79% of voting Americans believe the economy could collapse.
FOX News reported:

Most American voters believe it’s possible the nation’s economy could collapse, and majorities don’t think elected officials in Washington have ideas for fixing it.

The latest Fox News poll finds that 79 percent of voters think it’s possible the economy could collapse, including large majorities of Democrats (72 percent), Republicans (84 percent) and independents (80 percent).

Just 18 percent think the economy is “so big and strong it could never collapse.”

Moreover, 78 percent of voters believe the federal government is “larger and more costly” than it has ever been before, and by nearly three-to-one more voters think the national debt (65 percent) is a greater potential threat to the country’s future than terrorism (23 percent).

  1. The collapse of our ecnomy is the frosting on Obowmaos cake.

  2. nearly three-to-one more voters think the national debt (65 percent) is a greater potential threat to the country’s future than terrorism (23 percent).

Obama is a greater threat than terrorism.

  3. Don’t worry, we’re about to get a big boost from 20 million illegals, doing the work that Americans “won’t” do, and refusing to pay income taxes that Americans must pay.

The another shot in the arm from the energy bill that will pile on more taxes and close more businesses.

Both should pass easily. Switchboard meltdowns, crowds in streets, and silly polls don’t matter.

    Hurry November.

  4. The only question about the economy is when it is going to collapse, not if. All it will take will be one small thing, and down it will come–boom. There’s alos going to be another war some time in the next 20 years, unless I miss my guess.

  5. Obama would be thrilled if the U.S. economy collapses. All the more reason for him to abolish evil capitalism and install heavenly, Utopian Marxism.

Oh, wait. Why bother. He has already taken over 40% of the nation’s economy this past year. His work is almost complete.

  6. And all this debt piles up while we let our public “servants” keep us from accessing our enormous oil and gas reserves.

  7. Why would anyone think that…

after all so far the Fannie Freddie actual bailout has only cost $1.5 trillion dollars
$1.2 trillion subprine loans purchased by the US treasury and about $300 billion additional lending.

Oh you must be worried about the Christmas eve guarntee from Obama to absorb all losses, without limit, for fannie or freddie for the next three years.

does it bother you that fannie and freddie are not included in the congressional discussions to change bank regulations, including the idea of breaking up those banks that are too big to fail.

and lets not forget that the CEO’s of fannie and freddie got $6 million bonuses, while Jamie Diamond, CEO of JPMorgan Chase only got $1.3 million, despite having fully repaid , with interest, its “bail out” monies.

this is a message for those of you who are to lazy to do some fact finding on your own.

  8. If these people are so damned smart, why are we in so much debt?!!

  9. Speaking of trillions, think about this for a moment: if you had a machine that’d produce a dollar bill every second it would take about 32,000 years for it to spit out one trillion dollars.

  10. 72% of DEMOCRATS believe the economy will collapse, and they actually support MORE entitlements? They are intensely, dangerously stupid. But oh, let me guess, the economy is Bush’s fault.

  11. Keep your guns loaded and in reach.

  12. Also, let me admit something to you folks.

When I was young, so in my teens and very early 20s, I was far, far, FAR left. Not as extreme far left as the O-bots or the “anti-fascists” who torched hundreds of cars every year in Berlin, but still very far out on the left wing.

At once point I even admired the USSR and was actually sad when it was gone.

    Then something happened.

I like to call it: getting my first pay check above 2k Euros before tax. Cause then I saw how much the government took away from me to finance the left wing pipe dream.

Since then I’ve slowly but steadily turned away from the left and by now have ended up on the opposing sides.

This left wing stuff is nice and cute as long as you don’t have to pay for it yourself. Because then it stops being funny.

  13. There has never been a time in my life when I’ve encountered so many people who are pessimistic about the future of this country. But most of the people I speak with pay taxes. On the radio, I heard a member of the parasite class says it feels like Christmas to him.

  14. With all of the garbage going on……… I still can’t figure out how this Marxist Jihadi bunch of freedom-killers are gonna (try to) disarm civilians…… and they’re gonna make their move sooner than later.

Next up, amnesty, then cap & trade…. right after that, the brass ring of weapons-grabbing….. not just guns either….. knives, bows/crossbows, all marshall arts stuff, etc.

The last numbers I knew about were that approximately 88 million legal firearm owners are in legal possession of over 235 million firearms. That’s civilian ownership and just firearms.

What the hell is this administration up to……

Are we looking at a ‘Red Dawn’ scenario ?

Is O-I-Won gonna invite in his Moose Limb buddies to kill us all ?

    China ?

Their crisis too good to waste.

But remember…….. They’re gonna say it too…….. “It’s for the children.”

  15. Osama Bin Laden’s goal was to destroy the U.S. economy because destroying the U.S. economy would destroy America, and this is exactly what Barack Hussein Obama is successfully pursuing and achieving with flying colors.

  16. Well, the majority finally get a clue.

Google: ‘News Kontent: A reader’s resources on systemic collapse’ for a glimpse into the cold face of reality.

  17. I don’t thee anything wrong wifth Fweddie and Fannie Mae.

  18. ++

    Economy Could Collapse

now that’s what i call the biggest success of my organizational
career, and Michelle is proud, but you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!!

[In January 2010, journalist John Fund reported that Congressman Barney Frank and U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer were preparing to unveil legislation calling for "universal voter registration," whereby any person whose name was on any federal roll at all -- be it a list of welfare recipients, food stamp recipients, unemployment compensation recipients, licensed drivers, convicted felons, property owners, etc. -- would automatically be registered to vote in political elections. Without corresponding identity-verification measures at polling places, such a law would vastly expand the pool of eligible voters, thereby multiplying the opportunities for fraudulent voters to cast ballots under other people's names.

Both the Living Wage and Voting Rights movements depend heavily on financial support from George Soros's Open Society Institute and his "Shadow Party," through whose support the Cloward-Piven strategy continues to provide a blueprint for some of the Left's most ambitious campaigns to overload, and cause the collapse of, various American institutions. Leftists such as Barack Obama euphemistically refer to this collapse as a "fundamental transformation," on the theory that society can only be improved by destroying the deeply flawed existing order and replacing it with what they view as a better alternative.]
