Remember as you read this: There is nothing the democratic-media complex will not do to lie about the tea party patriots or to prop up these horrid leftists who are transforming our country into some kind of quasi-socialist state.
On Sunday night several members of the St. Louis Tea Party Coalition held a prayer vigil at Russ Carnahan’s office for the millions of babies that will be slaughtered under the democrat’s pro-abortion health care bill. We also prayed for the handicapped and the elderly who will be turned away as they face the death panels created by this bill. And, as we stood outside his office in the rain, we prayed for our country and for the democrats in Washington DC who were stealing away our freedom at that very moment.
We brought a coffin with us to represent the millions of Americans who will suffer from inadequate treatment and perish under Obamacare.

(KSDK Photo)
Local reporters from KSDK News Channel 5 showed up to interview myself and others after our prayer service.
KSDK put together this report on our peaceful protest:
In St. Louis, people on both sides of the issue gathered to watch the vote. Those in favor of healthcare reform came to celebrate, those opposed came to mourn.
For the Tea Party protesters, it was a somber night. Jim Hoft says, “We’re sad about what’s going on tonight in Washington D.C.”
And so complete with candles and casket, they held a funeral, grieving over the heathcare changes to come.
Hoft says, “We believe they’re taking away our freedom and this represents death to part of what we’ve grown up with.”
And the tears here were very real. Cynthia Rice says, “It’ll change everything for us.”
After our prayer service we took our coffin and went and prayed on the sidewalk outside of Russ Carnahan’s home.

We prayed for Russ Carnahan. We prayed that God would forgive him for taking away our freedom. We prayed for the babies who will never feel the warmth of the sun or a gentle spring rain. We prayed for the elderly who will die waiting for care because they couldn’t make it past the Obama death panels.
So obviously it came as quite a shock tonight to see that the Carnahan people and the Democratic-media complex had twisted this innocent prayer vigil into some kind of threat against Russ Carnahan.
The Politico reported:
A coffin was placed on a Missouri Democrat’s lawn, another in a string of incidents against lawmakers after their vote Sunday on a health care overhaul.
Rep. Russ Carnahan (D-Mo.) had a coffin placed “near his home,” a spokesman said Wednesday evening.
“Carnahan appreciates thoughtful feedback received both in favor and opposition of health insurance reform,” Carnahan spokesman Jim Hubbard told POLITICO Wednesday evening “We can disagree on important issues facing our country without resorting to this kind of thing. Russ Carnahan isn’t going to shy away from the importance of reform when 45,000 fellow Americans died last year due to a lack of health insurance.”
Of course, this is a complete lie.
Russ Carnahan is so frightened to meet with his constituents after his very unpopular vote that he is now lying about a prayer service. This is despicable. Russ Carnahan never said anything when his SEIU supporters beat, kicked and stomped on Kenneth Gladney in a parking lot outside one of his events. These were the same supporters he was sneaking into one of his staged town halls. Instead of apologizing for his supporter’s violence, he is making up stories about peaceful tea party protesters at a prayer service.
This won’t stand. There was a time Russ Carnahan and the Politico could get away with this awful lie. Those days are over. We demand that the liberal cranks at Politico and Russ Carnahan retract their dishonest tea party hit piece.
See also… Russ Carnahan fears the reaper.
Dana Loesch has more on this cowardly lie.
UPDATE: The Carnahans told reporters that the coffin was left on their lawn. This is an absolute lie. We had a prayer service and then left. The state-run media didn’t bother to follow up on this outrageous lie before they published their hit piece… Oh, and the protest was on SUNDAY not Wednesday.
UPDATE: The coffin is currently in a garage.

The Congressional Democrats made John Boehner call out the Tea Partiers for the e-mails sent to members of Congress. Why was it up to John Boehner to apologize rather than Pelosi and Co.? It would seen that the Democrats, who arrogantly bypassed Republicans and the American people’s concerns need to apologize for the high handed way they pushed this thing through.
Maybe in Washington this is a great thing but out in the hinterland this sucks big time.

Here’s what’s funny: Even if the mainstream media succeeds in discrediting the Tea Party (it won’t), people will still be furious at the much higher taxes and crappier health care they’re going to get. They’ll still be furious at the corruption and intrusion of our federal government.
So, they’re still going to toss the Democrats out on their rear ends in November. Nobody in the entire nation is going to base their vote on whether or not Tea Partiers used the n-word or put coffins on the lawns of congressmen.
And besides, a lot of people are having trouble mustering much sympathy for our poor, scared Congressfreaks after what they did to us. They’re destroying our way of life AND EXEMPTING THEMSELVES FROM WHAT THEY’RE IMPOSING ON US.
So, I’m supposed to feel bad about bricks through windows, especially since our leftist friends have a long history of faking crimes against themselves?

Worse. They’ve been celebrating their victor. CELEBRATING!
If I’d just done what they’ve done, I’d be scared, too. In fact, I’d be downright paranoid, as I’m guessing some of them are. So, there are going to be twice as many actions and words taken out of context, making the congressional Demonrats appear to be victims or potential victims, because there are now two types: Those of them who are so afraid that they truly will see and read threats where there are none, and those who know better but want to keep the sh!t pot stirred. For the latter, the ultimate goal is to disband the Tea Parties by making assembly of Tea Parties a crime.
Jan Gregory commented:
I can’t stand another person on the right making the statement. “I denounce violence blah blah blah, they go on and on about it. It sounds as thought THEY are on the defensive for actions that were done by ANARCHISTS! Anyone who resorts to violence by throwing bricks or whatever should be called by their right name.. Also don’t forget that the left’s tactics include acting out with violence in the name of the right wingers. Remember during the campaign a Dem office workers car tires were slashed and they found out it was the son of a Dem leader? GOP offices all across the country were trashed also. AND don’t forget that Congressman who said there were racial slurs and spit from the tea partiers? Then the video that followed him the entire way and there was nothing on tape. He walked that way for a purpose. They don’t have to walk by the crowds unless they had to make news. Everyone is taking his word for it cause we all know how Congressmen do not lie….
They lose precise air time when they feel the need to go on and on about civility.. Just say, don’t condemn people who have legitimate concerns about policy and the Constitution with thugs.. end of story… the left knows they will bend over backwards to try to distance themselves from a-holes. and they are losing on that point cause the media just keeps repeating it. They need to get serious and TELL the next interviewer to STOP aligning thugs with honest, hard working, regular Americans. Most of whom probably never made a trip to DC in their lives to protest and now feel obligated to make their voices heard.
Jan Gregory commented:
Hope someone can get the word out to the GOP to cut the crap and ignore the accusations, take charge and turn it around.. Ask the Left to denounce the deceiving media who are reporting lies, twisting the back story to the demonstrations and what is truly in the bill

Jim,
Did you notice anyone filming or photographing you and your people outside the normal MSM? Maybe recording what vehicles you get into or drive away in?
As we speak your “act of violence” has more than likely opened a file on you and yours in the DHS. It only takes a complaint of violence or potential “violence” to justify the act.
Some poor schlub and his partner are running down your vehicles, addresses, credit, friends, cellphones, kid’s info, criminal record and probably the same for your neighbors. They can access the new census, if you filled it out, and get a list of who lives in your house or stayed there with names, DOB’s, ages and race. (Saves that troublesome site surveillance. Why do the work if you will provide the info for free!)
DHS already tried to set the table last year with their screwed up list of potential threats that the blogs uncovered-

Don’t get angry at the agents, they were told to do it by their bosses, who were told to do it by THEIR bosses, who were told to do it by the political appointees inside DHS.
It will be curious if they have gone as far as to pull your cell records yet. As you know, DOJ doesn’t believe you own them.

Andreas K. commented:
Russ Carnahan isn’t going to shy away from the importance of reform when 45,000 fellow Americans died last year due to a lack of health insurance.
I want proof for that number. Hard, cold evidence.
Because this sounds exactly like that bogus study done by the University of Heidelberg that claimed that among the group of people between 65 and 85 years of age 53% die from the results of passive smoking. It’s bogus, because the German death statistics (which are kept just like the birth statistics) show that between 65 and 85 years of age 53% of the people die anyway.
Andreas K. commented:
Also this whole situation reminds me of Brussels 2008.
Christians, Atheists, or better said freedom loving people from across Europe came to Brussels in September 2008 to peacefully protest and hold a silent vigil for the victims of 9-11.
The mayor of Brussels (called “Fat Freddy” by the Flemisch people of Belgium because the Flemish people are the ones who feed Belgium and Brussels, and Freddy is getting fat on their tax money), who also happens to be a socialist, banned the event.
The “protestors” came anyway and met at their meeting place.
The area was soon swarmed with riot police, mounted police in riot gear, water cannons and helicopters.
The protest itself was silent and 100% peaceful.
Protestors were then arrested en masse, partly with violence. Members of the EU parliament, who had taken part in the protest (and only a handful took part, most EU parliament members screamed murder at the protest and called the people fascists), were thrown to the ground and handcuffed by riot and civil police.
Everyone taking part in it was arrested.
A woman sporting an Israeli flag was arrested on her way there because she was carrying an Israeli flag.
Why were they arrested?
Because Fat Freddie deemed them to be a danger for his “peaceloving” mohammedan buddies in Brussels.
One could argue that they violated the ban, but they were not told to disperse, they were not approached by police in a civil manner. Police charged them, knocked them down and arrested them without waring, without the usual “de-escalation” (which is ALWAYS used on mohammedans, “anti-fascists” and other violent subjects.)
It’s also interesting that the police units came from outside of Brussels, from the Walloon areas of Belgium.
Just wait. This is the next step in the US.

I read on another blog that these ‘incidents’ will be used to justify the coming martial law that will be ultimately imposed. Sure, there’s two or three steps between now and that, but this blog writer says his father was in Germany and this was how it happened there. People rose up to protest the changes and voila, you’ve got police protection for all the democrats (none of the republicans). Any yelling at the democrats will lead to arrest. A few mock trials to show people – this is what you get if you speak out – and there goes Free Speech. Write about it on a blog and soon to have people bashing in your front door.
*
Also, I like how the reporters at politico and the other 2 sources for the stories about Slaughter’s brick through the window and the other democrat who said that he heard of one of the congressman called the “n” word, say “alleged” or “allegedly”. Nope, when reporting on republican or tea party protesters the presumption of innocence goes out the window. The news media convicts at the moment and never retracts, so don’t hold your breath Jim waiting for Politico to say they’re sorry. They got the story wrong.
Its always OK for democrats to use 1st amendment rights but not ok for republicans.

Compare the claim that 45,000 died for lack of insurance to known facts, such as 37,261 died in auto accidents in 2008. We don’t know how many died in 2009 apparently because it takes the government a long time to find out a person is dead. Why? Every Highway Patrol has communication devices, why not communicate the numbers to Washington.

To Kay and Andreas K-
I wrote about this period in my political thriller novel REVOLT (www.revoltthebook.com). I wrote the original draft in 1997 and the story takes place around 2015 in the second term of a narcissistic president who has plans to take over the nation.
I asked myself what it would take to create an environment where someone could seize control of the country and the people would let him. How scared, how confused, how compliant, would they have to be? And what would happen to the people who refused to knuckle under.
I was able to predict much of what is happening now. What is coming is the clamp down on the Internet and talk radio (Always, always control the message, Chavez made the same mistake in his country and is correcting it now.)
When I showed the draft manuscript around back then, people laughed saying no way it would happen here. Last year I took the draft down and published it. Seems my friends are laughing anymore. They are kidding me that my fictional political novel is quickly becoming a history text.
Your concerns about using troops or police not from the area where the protesters live is a technique used by many heavy-handed governments. It is hard to get an officer to beat his neighbor in the head with a baton, but a stranger is another thing altogether.
As far as finding justification for martial law? DHS started that process last year but was knee-capped by the Net (again, control the message). People haven’t reached the level where they are willing to accept, without a second glance, that the government can “identify” potential domestic terrorists.
But that can change. Back in the nineties, the Clinton administration tried that very thing twice and got away with it. Thankfully, there were freedom loving Congressmen who turned a light on the whole incident.
Had there been no one to speak out… who knows. In my book, most of the independent voices are muted by fear, or allegiance, or ignorance, or threat…or worse.
Visit the site and read some of the passages posted there if you would like, I think you’ll see some things you recognize.

Your group needs to sue Carnahan for libel. Seriously. As long as these people can get away with these lies they will keep doing it. One of the smartest moves Scott Brown made during the campaign was to file charges against Coakley’s people when they lied about him. It shut off their entire strategy.
Most of these libelous claims about “Tea Partiers” are vague claims that can’t be proven or pinned down to any specific people, but this can be pinned down to your particular group of people so this provides an opportunity to file libel charges and catch them in the crime they are committing. And it IS a crime. It should be prosecuted. It’s the only thing that will keep either our politicians or the media even half honest.

You might have a point, Tony. And to the religious groups who fight this: Have you read the bible? Can you tell me which part says it’s bad to help people in need? Don’t pray for the Senators. Pray for Yourselves. Pray that you can find the wisdom to fully understand this issue.

Why should the politicians represent a small minority of people instead of the majority?
The teaparty movement has only 13% of Americans, and yet you think that everyone should do what you want.
Please Please tell me how this health care reform tramples and takes away your freedom.
do you even have a answer for that?
Probably not

Bill,
IBD listed 20 ways that this bill inhibits our freedom. Jim posted it yesterday.
You need to keep up.
In case you haven’t noticed the MAJORITY of AMERICANS are, and have been, against this bill.

49% agree and like this bill
40% are against it

While BO takes to the trail today to sell a bill (of goods) that’s already been passed — he sends his trolls out to counter the outrage and the ugly facts that he knew would emerge.
With more lies.
You guys are so transparent. We knew you’d come around again.

Dude, if Americans were wetting their pants in glee over this thing, BO wouldn’t be on the trail. You think that’s where he wants to be — dealing with the plebians?
He’d much rather be at home shooting baskets or nibbling on wagyu beef. No, he knows he’s in trouble. Not to mention every Dem.

By the way, where’s Michelle? Working out, maybe, with that trainer that costs us some $120K/year?
She’s gotta be stressing.

That’s our Barry – making history at every turn.
This time, it’s trying to sell a bill he’s already signed!!
Gotta be a first.

A lie within a lie. I want the 45,000 death certificates that clearly state cause of death due to lack of health insurance.

You folks seem kinda scary. What a creepy thing to do at a family’s home.
And then to bray about it. Very odd…

On the lawn, on the sidewalk, who cares!! You were at his private residence. He is a public official, he has a public office, address and phone number for correspondence. Leave his home his family and his private life out of it.
And as to your reaction to the bill, lets see…
the party of peace and sharing is in a slight minority when an illicit war is crammed down our throats (against popular opinion) so we have massive peaceful protests… no one listens.
The party of war and greed is in a minority when we have a revolutionary health-care bill passed (with a majority of the polled populous for it) and they respond with weak little protests inflated by their propaganda machine and then resort to violence… and you expect them to capitulate?
go figure!!

Why is the Tea Party a 501(c) organization? Seems hypocritical.
