The Change You’ve Been Looking For…
Al Sharpton told Geraldo Rivera last night (you probably had already switched the channel and missed this) that,
“Americans overwhelmingly voted for socialism when they elected Barack Obama.”
Via NewsBusters:
NewsBusters has the transcript:
“First of all, then we have to say the American public overwhelmingly voted for socialism when they elected President Obama,” Sharpton said. “Let’s not act as though the president didn’t tell the American people – the president offered the American people health reform when he ran. He was overwhelmingly elected running on that and he has delivered what he promised.”
This is another example that every once in a while, a democrat forgets his talking points and speaks the truth.
Barack Obama explained it this way last night– “This is what Change looks like.”

If 52.7% for Baran and 45.7% with the spread of 7.2% is overwhelming then what is spread of 9.2%, where 40% are for and 49% against? Delusion always comes before fall.

Sharpton should take a good look at Comrade Obamski’s approval rating.

I’m e-mailing this Sharpton quote to EVERY SINGLE friend / family member who voted for this Obamanation, claiming “He’s a moderate! A centrist!!!”
They need to feel like the stupid fools they are.

Let’s make your life easy. VOTE OUT all your democrat representatives Nov 2010. They are all corrupt and lobbyist lapdogs.
Martin McPhillips commented:
Well, I guess it’s official. You’re no longer a “racist” when you call Obama a socialist.
But, no, Al, Americans did not vote for socialism. They voted for what they took to be an earnest young man who was not a Republican.
They never got the full story about the twenty years in the Marxist church, and never quite put that together with all the other Marxist alliances.
No one stays anywhere for twenty years unless they love it and want it.
daryl commented:
Think Al will cancel all of his health insurance policies today then go and sign up for obummercare? Think any of the asshats who voted for it yesterday will?
olm commented:
I wouldn’t mind one bit if the result of yesterday is that people start telling it like it is.
You go Al. Keep going AL. Americans with a brain know that socialism is a failed social experiment and know we shouldn’t go there.
oops. Shouldn’t have GONE there.

It’s the Chicago way — spend 700 million on your campaign (the most ever) and then pretend that everyone likes you.
Truly embarrassing — the independents who voted for this guy should hang their heads in shame.

Unfortunately, even hanged people usually end up voting Democrat due to the miracle of Acorn.
maria commented:
It pains me to agree with this guy, but he is right. Obama did not hide who he was, it was just that people did not want to see it. Many times on scripted speeches, Obama would countdown to the day that the “transformation” of America would begin. Too bad nobody asked him point blank what he meant. But we all knew, didn’t we?

Im too upset to do any heavy reading right now, anyone got a quick answer as to if its all right to fly my flag upside down? Isnt this a signal of distress. I apologize for being so lazy, the wind is out of my sails.
JPL17 commented:
Even if Republicans scored a 1994 style landslide in November, how many votes could we muster to re-allow insurers to rescind policies when they discover a pre-existing condition?
What you mean “we,” libtard? Clearly, you’re not one of us. You’re just a lefty troll spreading the lie that our only choice is between (a) denying coverage to people based on pre-existing conditions, or (b) the bankrupting monstrosity of Obamacare.
But we conservatives have proposals of our own that allow people with pre-existing conditions to secure affordable health insurance, WITHOUT bankrupting the country or turning the federal government into Big Brother.
So just go back to the stinking Sorosian hole from which you oozed.

I can’t get that billboard with the picture of W and the caption “Miss Me Yet” out of my mind.
Damned straight, we miss you George!
But the saddest part, and I never thought I would say this but I think I would miss Clinton, as opposed to the dreck that is running the show now.
These unconscience pos have no more thought for what’s best for this country and its citizens than any despot you can name down through the ages.
Hopefully, much of this can be corrected come November.
