RINO Senator Lindsey “Tell the bigots to shut up” Graham and far left Senator Chuck Schumer presented their amnesty plan to Barack Obama yesterday. The two senators want to ram through amnesty by the end of the year.
The LA Times reported:

A pair of influential senators presented President Obama with a three-page blueprint for a bipartisan agreement to overhaul the nation’s immigration system, but the proposal’s viability is threatened by politics surrounding the healthcare debate.

Sens. Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), in a 45-minute meeting Thursday in the Oval Office, also asked for Obama’s help in rounding up enough Republican votes to pass an immigration bill this year.

Although details of their blueprint were not released, Graham said the elements included tougher border security, a program to admit temporary immigrant workers and a biometric Social Security card that would prevent people here illegally from getting jobs.

Graham also said the proposal included “a rational plan to deal with the millions of illegal immigrants already in the United States.” He did not elaborate on what the plan would be. But in a recent interview, he suggested that onerous measures were unrealistic.

“We’re not going to mass-deport people and put them in jail, nor should we,” Graham said. “But we need a system so they don’t get an advantage over others for citizenship.”

  1. I wonder if SC could rise up and recall this dimwit. And Chuck U Schumer, the day this menace departs the scene will be a joyous one indeed.

  2. New tamper proof ID cards sound like a great idea. It will get rid of a lot of the illegal immigrants who are murdering our fellow citizens and selling drugs to our children and make it a lot harder for islamic jihadists to move freely throughout our country. The threat to our civil liberties are a non-issue. I’ve been carrying a social security card for years. Never once have I looked over my shoulder for men in black suits. A biometric national ID card would simply be a social security card that can’t be forged. But leave it up to the far left and right to reject it for moronic ideological reasons. In the mean time we’ll continue to lose millions of jobs and billions of dollars to illegal immigrants and suffer more 9/11s.

  3. “But we need a system so they don’t get an advantage over others for citizenship.”

THAT’s the problem, in Graham’s eyes? That we might make the criminals citizens TOO FAST? SHEESH.

  4. Gratulations. The US is, as of now, Europe 2.0. Which means, the US will get all the problems the EU has with immigration. And eventually the US will be on the same path to civil war, like the EU. Because, you see, in Europe the people are angry. The media, of course, ignores it and all the tourists from the US think Europe is so great. Newsflash: what tourists think is irrelevant. Go and ask European tax payers. They’re angry over how bad immigration is handled. And you will see a shift to the right wing in the next few years all across Europe. It has already started in the Netherlands and I say: rightfully so.

That said, I hopw the Americans take back Congress in November.

388,000 illegal immigrants. Deport them. Now.

  6. The thing is- what does this fix? It adds a sever financial burden onto the rest of us, and it encourages more illegal immigration and chain immigration until the entire Mexican population is in the US.

  7. Lindsey Graham, synonym for Putz.

The people of SC need to do the rest of the nation a favor and toss this clown out on his ear — quickly. Any “Republican” that would ally him/her-self with Schumer on anything deserves to be run out of town on a rail.

  8. I love the opening sentence from the L.A. Times; “A pair of influential senators presented…”.

Might I suggest a better one.

“Two of the most despised United States Senators…”.

    There! I feel better already.

  9. Why in the heck are they pushing this again? Also, didn’t the right push for a voter ID card and the Dems argued against it?

A day will come when we the people get to speak and damn them who stand against America.

  10. Maybe Sanford should be Senator. He goes south of the border and screws them instead of letting them come north and screw us. Just a thought.

  11. Clearly Graham is one of those entrenched Republicans who need to be pried out of office along with the Demshevik Corruptocrats running things in DC.

  12. Yeah, some genius over at another blog said that Lindsey Graham’s Amnesty Bill may be setting up a brilliant trap for President Obama.”

    What? Lindsey Graham “brilliant”?

    LMAO.

    Oh yeah:

  13. Let me see your papers….

  14. These people are certifiable.
They have been working on Obamacare for one year and can’t pass a thing, well besides the fact that there really isn’t a bill, what could be more inept?
    This won’t go any smoother.

  15. “We’re not going to mass-deport people and put them in jail, nor should we”

And why shouldn’t we?? If they aren’t here illegally, send them back — at their expense!
    .

  16. Oops — meant to say if they’re not here legally, send them back. (Sorry.)
    .

  17. “A pair of influential senators presented President Obama with a three-page blueprint for a bipartisan agreement to overhaul the nation’s immigration system, but the proposal’s viability is threatened by politics surrounding the healthcare debate.”

Lindsey Graham is an embarrassment to the party. They call this bipartisan? Lindsey Graham, and that is their idea of bipartisan? Our country is falling apart financially and otherwise, he is irresponsible, and negligent in even getting involved with this at this point.

South Carolina please vote this man out when you get the chance, he’s a menace. He’s being used by sleaze like Schumer, and he goes along. I know, the illegal’s will do the jobs Americans won’t right? What jobs? Why not add millions more to the unemployment line Lindsey? The more the merrier. You idiot, this is to give these degenerates like Obama more votes. Good luck getting anyone to go along with this debacle with you.

  18. Papers!?! You have papers!?! Show me your papers!?! Raus!!!

This is a big step toward an internal passport. Wanna bet that nothing changes with the illegals despite new ID cards!?!

  19. This November let’s send the RINOs back home where they belong….they have done enough damage in DC…

  20. I think the card is fine and if we want to let them stay, which is ok by me, lets never give the interlopers the right to vote. Isnt that what everybody is so afraid of? The lawbreaking trespassers will forfeit their right to vote and they must all donate time on building the fence. There could be a fine, and also limited access to social services for those who originally broke our laws. Their children and their children’s children will have all the benefits of US citizenship, but the first generation must never get that benefit for their crime. Then make them then do all the old fashioned immigration things, take the test, speak the language, deport if they break the law, etc.

And this is coming from someone who has seen his whole industry (construction in CA) taken over by illegal aliens. I realize they are here and it will be too hard to deport them all. Make them pay a high price for breaking our laws, then becoming US citizens who can help our country grow through this.

Pretty good immigration plan isn’t it?

  21. Well, exactly how are these “immigrants” going to get these cards? They are already here illegally, they are not willing to participate in a system that can be used against them. They will remain “undocumented” even after “amnesty” is given because it is safer for them.

They are not collectively stupid enough to believe that things can’t change after they identify themselves. Then the real citizens are then burdened with a system that does not serve it’s stated original purpose and is ripe for abuse by the government.

Just like the health care fiasco is not really about health care, it’s about control.

  22. J tayor, heavy fine the employer and jail them, that are working them, they will go home on their owe. This bunch in charge have no intendion of enforce our laws.

  23. Graham has gone over to the dark side. He has been drinking that Patomac River Straight for too long. He just has to go. The pity is that he is not up for election this year. He is an utter disgrace. Anyone who “works” with Schumer ought to give his head a good shake and wake up. The guy is an arrogant Communist. No good can come from such collaboration. I’m thinking that maybe Lindsay thinks that the Commies are actuqally going to take over the country, and he just wants to “be on the right side of history”. O.K., he has made his choice. We’ll see. But having made that choice, he must realize that there is no going back. In for a penny, in for a pound. We will not forget.

  24. At the very least a collaborater.

  25. National ID cards, another avenue for fraudsters. SS cards were NEVER meant to be used as identification. Why do you think we have so much identity theft?

I have a driver’s license. You know, the one that Robin Carnahan said should NOT be asked for at the polls.

I also have a birth certificate on file in the county seat where I was born. This is more than I can say for some people in this country. We don’t need any more complicated bureacracies. We need to enforce laws.

  26. OK, more ID for honest citizens who were BORN in this country legally by parents who were here legally. First do you really think for one minute that the illegal immigrants would not be able to obtain these same ID’s. They already get welfare, driver’s licenses, social security, etc. and secondly, who will distribute these cards…more union government employees on the dole. More taxes, more government!
The illegal immigrants and friends are planning to march on Washington DC on March 21 to have a show of “force” to us Americans of their solidarity and are calling on Obama to “honor his pledge to them”. They had to go and buy US flags and are requesting that no Mexican flags be flown. I wonder how many of them will cover their faces?

  27. i cringe every time I hear the Lindsey Graham is pushing something. I can’t stand him and don’t trust him. But I will tell you that there are other “maverick” Republicans in the senate who support this but can’t say so because their seats are up for election this year. Can you think of anyone who fits that description? haha

  28. Lindsay Graham= useful “Republican” tool.

Their agenda could not be more clear. Next “urgent crisis”= amnesty that will make the Landreux’ Louisiana Purchase II and Nelson’s Cornhusker kickback look like chump change in terms of purchased votes. How they can pull this off during a time when Americans are deeply impacted by the manufactured economic “crisis” is going to be eerily fascinating. How can they possible spin this? But rest assured, spin it they will.

They’re not hiding their bribery any longer. The nation is being raped and we are all watching. It’s become political porn.

“This is not a dream. This is really happening”~ Rosemary Woodhouse

  29. … being reported by Fox…Graham just issued statement saying that if reconciliation’s used to pass health deform, immigration reform’s out… (…. talk is cheap).

  30. This is just posturing……..Congress is mostly made up of the ‘elitist committee’ striving to create chaos and out of this chaos–like limiting a food supply(plug in fishing restrictions here with water restrictions, GMO, etc just in the last few weeks)–TPTB will promote a New World Order with a new rule book……..first and foremost to create this chaos, the world must experience economic collapses and destruction of infrastructures……..we’re headed that way….just ask Iceland.

  31. Yeah doh….what makes these dumb pols think that these fancy-smanshy ID cards are the answer…if people who are here ILLEGALLY can obtain proper US documents what will make these new IDs any different….gah….nothin’ like feeling like Alice in Wonderland…

  32. No, of course we don’t want to go the mass-deportations route. Too draconian. Why would Graham even bring it up?

    But.

Would it hurt anybody –anybody, anywhere at all– to SECURE THE DANGBLAME BORDERS of the USA so thousands more “we-don’t-know-who-they-are-or-whether-they’re-friend-or-foe” illegals can’t sneak in?

Why don’t any of our fearless effen’ leaders talk about THAT one simple step? (And not the half-baked “virtual fence”; even when it works -which is seldom- all it does is tell some watcher how many came over and where. Do we dispatch Border Control when we notice ‘em coming over? No. So what was the point, besides another expensive government boondoggle?) When we know that aliens outside our borders can’t waltz over here with impunity, THEN let’s talk about what to do with the ones already here.

Sheesh. Like it was hard to figure out, Lindsey ol’ boy.

  33. How ’bout enforcing existing immigration laws? Oh, I forgot, you pols don’t like law enforcement messing with your votes…..

  34. How many folks realize that the problems we are facing today with the illegal alien issues are due in full to our congress, stateless department, the US chamber of commerce(If they can cross the the border, we want them), homeless insecurity, and DOJ(department of jerks)? Yep, our own wonderful congress and the preceding trolls are responsible for the great influx of illegals.

Congress wants voters regardless of race, creed, and political persuasion.

Stateless department wants diversity and PC to destroy our form of government and sense of national pride.

Useless chamber of commerce wants cheap, slave labor. Taxpayers will pick up the bill for education and social services.

Homeless insecurity and doj do not want to enforce existing law. That means they would have to work to locate, incarcerate, and deport quite a few individuals. Doesn’t matter that gangs, drugs, increased violent crime, and potential terrorist groups are already in place.

    That’s the short list.

  35. A poster above referred to the proposed “tamper-proof” identity cards.

There is no such thing. I’ll bet my shirt that there NEVER WILL BE such a thing. “It encodes your DNA!!” they say. OK, so who’s going to foot the bill for a DNA test for every slaughterhouse worker who wants a job, to prove that the human matches the encoding? I’m sure there would be a limited window of time in which the card WOULD guarantee the identity of the holder.

    But then …

Has the history of humankind taught us nothing? Crooks will find a way to create cards that look like the original but with the warm-body-holding-the-card’s DNA/ iris pattern/ fingerprints/ blood type substituted. Like credit cards, driver’s licenses, copyproof software, the RFID passports, US currency …. NOTHING IS FOOLPROOF. There are LEGIONS of bad guys out there waiting for the next opportunity to prove they can outsmart “the man”. They always find a way.

  36. This sounds like it could be the guest-worker program that we need. How well it would work would depend on how well it is written and implemented.

Our immigration laws have perverse results right now. That is because, once somebody who comes here to work is here illegally, it’s very difficult for them to leave. And, we don’t have a good system for letting people just come here to work.

We’ve had a guest worker program before, and it did help with illegal immigration.

  37. I will refuse any card that has my physiological data on it. At best, the National ID card is Nazi-ish and at worst, it is too much like the mark of the beast. I will refuse this card on religious grounds and I know I will not be alone. I have worked since I was 19 years old but without this card, I will not be able to work. How will I eat? How will I feed my dogs? How will I pay my mortgage? To flippantly say this card will help curtail illegal immigration, and so our liberties can be stripped away, is cruel and will have serious consequences on people like me who just want to continue living and working in the country we love.

  38. Can’t wait to drive down to Tijuana and buy me a few of these ID cards.
