Meet New Hampshire Democratic State Rep. Nick Levasseur.

Here he is with his pal, Barack Obama.
And, via Red Hampshire, here is his latest Facebook entry:

“Anime is a prime example of why two nukes just wasn’t enough.”
Or in other words, he’ like to kill more Japanese citizens because he doesn’t like their cartoons.
Don’t expect this to get much play in the state-run media.
It doesn’t fit with their propaganda.

I’m far from a genius, but I believe this will adversely effect Levasseur’s career in public service. The Power Rangers take these kind of insults seriously…
It’s also telling that he is familiar with “anime” enough to express a public opinion; it makes me wonder if he didn’t spend his formative years playing a few-too-many role games. Go Speed Racer!!!
Patman commented:
Pokeman will not be happy with this.
Not at all.
Where are the Ninja Turtles and what do they have to say about all this hoopla?
Liberty Jane commented:
That wasn’t really funny. But Democrats don’t, as a rule, have a proper sense of humor.
CDR M commented:
Wow! That is what Tom Hanks was talking about then right?

TiminPhx commented:
My only problem with the comment, is that the press would go insane if this guy was a Republican.
The comment is something that a lot of people might say. It’s simply not politically correct. As to the victims of the bombs, it’s a question of Distance, both literally and with regard to time.
The sinking of the Titantic would have been worth it, if only somehow the director of the movie, Cameron, could have somehow been on board.
That comment is simply silly. Granted, Cameron sinking like that gem is a nice thought. But as to the victims of the actual sinking being used in a joke, it’s really beyond that.
I just don’t want us on the left to get PC like the left is. Well, unless the left is doing a cartoon and wants to make fun of handicap kids or women dying in a coma.
TiminPhx commented:
Us on the right, the right, not the left…I have to go wash my fingers after that typo above.
Greg commented:
I was in japan in late 1983 when the prime minister was flying to Washington over Pittsburg. A local weather announcer in Pitt started off his show with a playful comment that there was a little Nip in the air, setting up his intro to cooler weather at the prime ministers expence. There were mass demonstrations around the US embassy critisicing the racsism. Baracks friend talking about nuking is in at least as poor taste and is very rasist,

What anime? It’s a HUGE sector.
Anime isn’t just Pokemon, DBZ and One Piece. Especially DBZ and Pokemon are massproduced crap.
Anime is also Sen to Chihiro (and all of Studio Ghibli), Akira, Jin Roh, etc.
I doubt that this red fascist knows even remotely enough about anime.

new to the site, but thank you for posting material like this.
please keep up the good work.

Okay, yeah… (CDR M #4)
This explains how Hanks could make those incredibly stupid statements. He only hangs with Dems! Shoulda known…

Marsh commented:
I’d have to say that I agree with him on this point. Anime – and moreso the weeaboo fans – are a crime against humanity.
CDR M commented:
So in summary, Democrats are willing to go nuclear over Japanese Anime but not do a damn thing about Iran getting a nuke or two? Is it too late to get the Iranians into Anime so Democrats will finally do something about them?

Yep. Screw the allies. Kiss the enemies. “Smart power”.

Is it just me, or does this freak look like he is RETARDED?
No offense to the retarded.
indigo commented:
Hey Fox News has become anti- Catholic . Way to go morons.
AuntieMadder commented:
TiminPhx #5 is right. It was just a silly comment. If a Republican had made the same silly remark, the lamestream media would drag him or her over the coals, making it a top story of the utmost importance, demanding a public apology, the disection of which would then be the top news story. Then the story would be brought up again during the reps re-election campaign in an effort to hand the election to the Demonrat opponent.
greenfairie commented:
Well, you just lost the geek vote there, buddy.

How can your question not be offensive to the retarded? I mean, look at that ugly b@st@rd.

Right up there with those “Hitler Didn’t Finish the Job!” signs that we have seen at anti-Jewish protests…

Following on #14…
We should give terrorists who want to kill us the full set of American rights and try them in our legal system… but we should nuke Japan over cartoons.
If they’re willing to nuke a nation over cartoons, why are we surprised at their eagerness to abort all those burdensome babies.
Come on Iran, start watching anime, ban abortion, and convert to Christianity. Then let’s see what the Democrats unleash on you.

What does he have against anime? Fullmetal Alchemist FTW!

Can I call him “fat man” and drop him out of a plane above japan?

What’s “anime”?
Bob Grant commented:
Roy Mustang–
Normally I’d tell you if you got this far you must have heard about google & bing but since it’s Japanese I’ll bite
according to Wikipedia (safe for this one)
Anime in English usually refers to a style of animation originating in Japan,[1] heavily influenced by the manga (Japanese comics) style and typically featuring characters with large eyes, big hair and elongated limbs, exaggerated facial expressions, brush-stroked outlines, limited motion and other distinctive features.

Like may othe libtards, Levasseur’s “education” and degree were probably from a liberal college, where the focus is on social studies, perpetual victimhood, whining and protesting, with extra focus and courses on blaming. Civics and grammar aren’t that important in the world of community organizing or in the Socialist Democrat congress.

This guy’s a real piece of work. Here are a couple old posts of mine, featuring “Rep. Nikoli”.

In that link, he craftily plays the “I’ve been threatened!” card.
But, my favorite was this one:

Money quote (from his Myspace page):
My Interests
Medicine, biology, mathematics, anything that doesn’t involve Organic Chemistry, cars that don’t begin with “Ford” and end with “Aspire”, HBO series, Bill Mahar, politics, the hunting of neo-conservative Reaganites (a shooting sport brought to you by the republican party in more ways than one!), sleeping (it is sad when necessary life takes become occational hobbies).
AuntieMadder commented:

This reads like he likes to murder conservatives, Reagan conservatives, to be more specific. You think he’s on the no-fly list?
Bruce commented:
Wait, it gets better.
Here’s what he had to say on being required to purchase health care coverage by the University of New Hampshire where he is/was a student.
[Student Government Association] President Nickolas Levasseur said the association loudly opposed the university’s requiring students without health care coverage to buy $1,400-a-year policies through the school.

You can’t make this stuff up.
Well, you could, but no one would believe you.
