Pelosi Urges Americans to "Judge Us on Our Success" (Video)

Speaker Pelosi urged Americans today to judge Democrats on their success…
Since 2009 Democrats have tripled the national deficit, nearly doubled unemployment, destroyed the economy, added $2 Trillion in new debt, nationalized car companies and health care and ran the most corrupt government in decades. Let’s pray to St. Joseph the Worker that her wish comes true and that Americans judge democrats honestly this November.
What a horrible woman.
Nancy Pelosi today:
“We are on the verge of making great history for the American people and in doing so we will make great progress for them as well. The president has said over and over we will measure our own success on the progress that has been made by America’s working families. That is our responsibility and we will honor it when we vote on health care reform.”

Yea, I’ll be really happy making history when my employer provided insurance gets cancelled because the $750 fine is cheaper than the insurance. Then I will have to pay 10,000 out of pocket for new insurance in the “exchange” with all the losers aaannnnd also have my taxes raised to pay for all the losers in the “exchange” who can’t afford insurance so I don’t get screwed by the IRS.
Sounds like a winning historical event to me.

Bush caused the housing bubble by not immediately, on 1/22/2001, shutting down FNMA, FHLMC, HUD, ACORN, and the demokrat, racist hand-out thievery machine. That would have saved us from the housing crash.
I bet you think 9/11 was an inside job. So, Bush started two wars for Halliburton or something, lefty.
Bush didn’t immediately end the CAFI regs and muzzle the UAW so they went on to destroy GM and Chrysler.
Bush didn’t tell the environazis to go to hell (drill in ANWR and the coasts) so gas and heating oil prices went to over $5 a gallon.
Bush didn’t raise taxes so that the government couldn’t buy more votes from useless rats like you.

Corporal Vere — Too Right. The economy is cyclical and had Obama done what most Presidents do — he would have cut taxes and given tax credits to Businesses to hire more employees. And this long national nightmare would have been over.
Instead we have a prolonged Recession. Houses sit empty because even though prices are low no one can get a loan. And Obama now says unemployment will remain at about 10% for the rest of the year. His solution to the Jobs problem is to extend unemployment–now at a year and a half.
Instead of focusing like a laser beam on the economy — he talks endlessly about Healthcare, Immigration and Cap and Trade. He has spent us into bankruptcy. A new Rasmussen Poll shows that Obama approval is at 43% and his disapproval is at 55%.
He is the worst President in my lifetime because he doesn’t hear the anxiety among the people which means he is either tone deaf or he has tuned us out. Either way we can do better.

And how are Obama’s massive, multi-trillion-dollar deficits helping? How are his policies lowering unemployment? What has he done to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? How has his HAMP program helped reduce foreclosures? Why hasn’t he leaned on the banks for hoarding their TARP funds instead of using them for what they were intended?

Tell that to the Iraqis. They seem to think they won that war, with our help, and they have the elections to prove it. Staunchly refusing to face reality isn’t much of an argument.

Obama’s monthly deficits are now as large as the yearly deficits under Bush and the Republican Congress. Again, how are Obama’s insane deficits helping? Have they lowered unemployment? Have they created a climate in which business can flourish? Have they strengthened the dollar?

Here is another question. AND BE HONEST! When GW Bush turned surpluses into huge deficits and grew the size of non-military government by the greatest amount since LBJ, Where were you? I did not hear many complaints from the right until the end of his last term.
To me it just seems like it’s all about winning for you guys. I’ll tell you my problems with the Democrats. But it seems like you are unwilling to admit anything might be wrong with your side. Like maybe Bush did not do such a good job on a lot of things.

Not that you could even comprehend the following: $2 trillion of subprime mortgages with implicit (I just lost you!) FNM/FRE (US gov) guaranties (that would be used for derivatives so that in Oct 2008 no one knew if any collateral was worth over zero) led to the housing bubble, and all the rest of the crap sandwich that Obama is adding crap to.
Just keep blaming Bush. That will solve everything.
