Oh Brother. Lib Media Claims Rock Was Thrown Through Rep's Office Window… On 30th Floor

The Seattle Times reported today on another horrible political attack. The Times claimed that liberal democrat Rep. Steve Driehaus had a rock thrown though his office window:
Protesters have been demonstrating at Driehaus’ Ohio home, said Tim Mulvey, a spokesman for the anti-abortion Democrat who joined Stupak in voting for the health bill. A rock was thrown through the window of Driehaus’ Cincinnati office Sunday, and a death threat was phoned in to his Washington office a day later, Mulvey said.
“It’s getting out of hand,” Mulvey said.
As Glenn Reynolds noted… Rep. Driehaus’ office is in the Carew Tower in Cincinnati.

It only says someone threw the rock through the window. It doesn’t say which DIRECTION the rock was going. I would guess that the nasty conservative terrorist went into his office and threw the rock OUT the window.

Does he have any evidence of a broken window? Could it have been broken from the inside? Is he just another Leftist liar? Remember, the Imperial Congress deliberately walked through the crowd trying to bait them into saying or doing something that could be captured on video and audio to marginalize the Tea Party Movement….Saul Alinsky tactics demonstrated. Don’t get sucked in if you visit your Rep’s office or if you are at any public event. Cameras and recorders are rolling, and they are just looking to find the one nutjob or overwrought person who loses control. They also have SEIU and other thugs planted who yell obscenities and bring outrageous signs. They are the equivalent of Trolls who invade Conservative blogs and try to post nonsense or inflammatory trash to be used to marginalize the blogs.

No doubt you dumb-a$$ people will claim it is; but I have it on good authority that the Washington Post is preparing an expose on the basis of a study done by researchers at Ohio State University. That study, funded by the President’s brilliant Stimulus Bill, examined the crapping behavior of the Ohio State bird and found that the Republican Red fowl was much more likely to dump on the windshields of autos parked in blue voting districts.
Apparently, in the wake of the Health Care Bill, they’ve upped the ante.

Mick, are you suggesting someone took the elevator to the 30th floor, got out, threw a rock at a window inside the building, got back into the elevator, returned to the lobby, and simply walked away? Isn’t that a bit risky with the possibility of being videotaped by security cameras and being confronted by building Security? Justin Binik-Thomas emails from Cincinnati that Rep. Driehaus’ office “is on the 30th floor of a skyscraper downtown.” He also says that he spoke to Driehaus’ office today and they said this never happened. Which is too bad, in a way, as the Reds could use a guy with an arm like that . . . .

Ok..the “maybe this will equalize things/Eric Cantor’s office” story?
Um…no, depsite a good bit of coverage on Fox, it turns out, it was not aimed at the office window.
“A bullet was shot through the window of my campaign office in Richmond this week, and I’ve received threatening e-mails,” Cantor said. He refused to release details, however, saying it would only encourage more threats, and refused to take questions.
Later Thursday, however, Richmond police said in a news release that the bullet had been fired into the air around 1 a.m. Tuesday. It finished its random arc back to earth at a sharp downward trajectory, breaking a window pane on the bottom floor of the two-story brick building where Cantor’s campaign leases the top floor.

Another reason to fear the electorate. Taking out a window on the 30th floor is pure awesome. He probably didn’t do it from next to the building either. When I do this kind of thing, I like to be a mile or two away. I find the rocks deflect off the window if I’m too close. No I like a nice flat trajectory that has the rock hitting flat against the window. I would throw something large, like a tank, but this idiot has an office not a floor. With the DNC headquarters, I’d use a tank, a police car or the car of someone who honked at me.
Anyhow, Driehaus merited a rock as it was just a few windows.

A bill was passed by the Dems early last year which calls for a Domestic Security Force as large and expensive as our Military. We know as things stand the Dems are going to lose in a landslide next November. Unless of course, its too dangerous to vote.

To make your life easier I’ll give you info on what I’m doing: Currently I’m watching Shatner’s Raw Nerve, Red Eye on FoxNews, and the recap of “V” on DVR. I figured I’d give you guys some easy answers so you don’t have to use resources to find out what I’m recording to watch. I also plan to watch the Tudors when it restarts on Showtime, CNBC or Fox Business News during the day tomorrow, the Kudlow Report, and then do some web surfing. I’ve gone to Walmart to buy some dish detergent tonight and some kleenex as I have a cold. Other than that, I plan to have a PB&J sandwich tomorrow along with Pringles and Coke.
Now I’m off to bed as its late. I plan to read something really subversive: A trashy romance novel set in England written by Amanda Quick before falling asleep.

Let’s ignore for the moment that most highrise office buildings have windows that are QUITE resistent to breakage, hence a stone would have to be traveling pretty fast to break said window.

I was at Steve Driehaus’s office last week. It is indeed on the 30th floor, and there are no inside windows. You walk out of the elevator and his office is directly opposite, through double (solid) wooden doors that open directly into the reception area. The only windows are to the outside. I have never been to the Democratic Party offices, so I can’t comment on whether they have accessible windows or not.

Active violence shouldn’t surprise anyone. With fervor, people have been demonstrating saying that people should continue to die from a lack of insurance, 45,000 a year.
