“The will of the people” be damned.
Democrats continue to ignore the will of the people and push forward with their “angry mob unpopular” socialist agenda.

Despite clear opposition from the American people, Democratic leaders in Congress are continuing with their efforts to ram through a bloated, trillion-dollar health care bill that will hike taxes, raise premiums, and cut Medicare. Republicans are urging Democrats to start over and work with Republicans to develop bipartisan health care legislation that will actually lower health care costs.

Barack Obama Is Coming to St. Louis on Wednesday March 10, 2010.

  1. Not a Democrat if one ignores the peeps.

  2. “You ain’t seen nothin’, yet!”

And with this very same mindset, the fraud in the White House intends to steam-roll his entire Socialist agenda through congress. He/They are intentionally ignoring the public opinion polls because that’s what their boss – Mr. George Soros – has ordered them to do.

This is the one and ONLY chance they’ll have – with all three branches under direct control and they have until December 31st to “Git R Done”.

  3. This is just my perception, mind you, but if you listen to them, it appears to me that the pundits in the media are [goading] Obama and the Democrats in Congress to shove healthcare legislation down our throats to keep that story going. They don’t have any ethics, and they sure don’t give a damn about the people of this country. In fact, they have a condescending and cynical attitude about the people of this country. They’ve all become tabloids, creating stories and embellishing on stories to keep the money pouring in from their advertisers. The MSM are whores. They don’t report the news anymore. They create the news themselves and then suck it dry.

  4. I thought Democrats were populists…
    .

  5. Sorry to go off topic but…

I heard that Massa gave a frivolous interview with Beck. I would guess the Dems made a deal with Massa that if he played into the ‘insanity’ angle and did not cite any Dem wrongdoing they would let the ethics investigation die harmlessly and with minimum embarrassment to him.

  6. Joe College is right, somebody got to Massa between the time he spoke with Beck yesterday and today. Massa mentioned he didn’t have the money to defend himself….

On the subject of protesting. I don’t think it matters anymore. The dems know this is for all the marbles and will pass it. Already Stupak is backing away. Ethics is not their strong point and neither is honor. They know what we know, it is now or never and the left truly believes in “the ends justifies the means” something they used to blame Nixon for years ago.

    Sad.

  7. One more point. The feds can pass healthcare but 36 states are already passing laws that prevent mandated insurance. The amendment covering this issue should prevent the plan implementation as long as the SP agrees, and it should.

  8. A big warning to the Democrats. Google “Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854″.

If you want to know what’s coming your way, you WILL read about it.

  9. The people of Missouri never let me down. I wish I lived near there to join you in protest.

  10. Pelosi – “preventive care is not something that
you have to pay a deductible for or out of pocket
    .”

Two of the most inflationary sectors in the economy are education and health care. Both have already had the impact of their costs removed from the people’s experience by involvement of the federal government.

The federal government is trying to further ingratiate itself into both sectors. Both will continue to inflate more than the general rate.

  11. We’ve got to make sure that the Section VIII parasite with the Rocawear outfit and the latest Blackberry, but who pays with food stamps, gets free health coverage for herself and all her bastards.

It takes a village to raise all these 25-, 35-, 45-year-old children.

  12. The moderate and “blue-dog” dems are going to take down this loon, or find themselves to be the biggest fools in the unemployment line come November.

If you can, also call those confirmed “No” to thank them

    Latest on Stupak http://weeklystandard.com/print/blogs/stupak

Stupak: There’s No Deal, And I Won’t Agree to a Promise to Fix the Bill in the Future

“Stupak affirmed that he will not settle for an agreement to pass the bill now and fix the bill’s problems on abortion later: “If they say ‘we’ll give you a letter saying we’ll take care of this later,’ that’s not acceptable because later never comes.”
Stupak said that White House officials are “trying to get face time with members to convince them to vote for a bill that no one has seen in writing.”

Stupak emphasized that his coalition of pro-life Democrats is sticking together: “My numbers remain firm at 12. These are 12 who voted for it [in November] who will not vote for it unless we resolve this issue.”

I don’t like this Bill coming down to a single issue when there’s so much wrong with the bill…let’s hope the 12 don’t cave, keep the calls / emails / faxes coming…and don’t forget to use local district numbers if you cannot get through on the DC lines. Thanks everyone!

  14. yo, citizens unite, call the white house comment line and voice your opposition to this bill 202-456-1111, I called, had to wait about 5 mins, but they do take your info and pass it to the President.

  15. I guess we shouldn’t worry about how we are going to pay for it, right?

  16. Remember, folks – “Voting on something in Congress” is now the same as “ramming it through.” Awesome new doublespeak. Enjoy your extra chocolate ration, citizen.
