Barack Obama continued his all-out assault on the American private sector in his Weekly Address today. This week he decided to attack the evil insurance industry once again.

But not all private industry is bad. The president called for a Muslim summit on entrepreneurship on Friday.
Breitbart reported:

The White House on Friday announced a “summit on entrepreneurship” to build economic ties with the Islamic world, part of President Barack Obama’s outreach to Muslims.

The White House said it has invited participants from more than 40 countries over five continents for the April 26-27 conference in Washington.

“The summit will highlight the role entrepreneurship can play in addressing common challenges while building partnerships that will lead to greater opportunity abroad and at home,” White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said.

Obama first spoke of the entrepreneurship conference in his signature June 4 speech in Cairo to the Islamic world.

  1. What?? Is there a shortage of roadside bombs?

  2. “to build economic ties with the Islamic world”

I doubt the US needs sand and camels that desperately.

  3. It is quite clear by this action that the userper in chief is a BIGOT and hates his country and all it stands for.

  4. Oh my! Look at that. Seems I need to go out and buy some more ammo.

  5. Sharia-compliant business practices are perfectly acceptable to Obama, but American capitalism isn’t?

  6. Should be a GREAT session on “Women’s Entrepreneurship”, given the fact that most Muslim women are treated like sperm receptacles from puberty and generally about two steps lower than camels.

One thing’s for sure; the man can point with great pride at America’s leading role in…..Unemployment???

  7. Boy if there’s one thing Americans want more than anything, its a better relationship with Muslims lol. Obama to the American people — I Won You Lost.

  8. It’s the new bailout!

    No more GM cars!

    Camels and goats for everyone!

  9. If Clinton felt our pain and Bush flew over it then Obama feeds off it.

  10. Obama believes if we could just make Muslim Terrorists rich than they would stop trying to kill us. LIKE RIGHT!!!

  11. I learned everything I needed to know about muslim economics on 9/11.

  12. Maybe Obama could arrange for them to receive special tax incentives or no interest business loans. Think of it as jizya paid for by the dhimmi of an infidel nation.

  13. Oh, I agree that commercial ties to a country are a persuasive way to encourage development of both prosperity and freedom. We did this with Germany and Japan, for instance. To this day, we keep troops stationed in those countries.

At one time, they served as guards, then as the countries became more stable, they served as a way of opening up trade and friendship. They are there, today, as the few normal people who really get a chance to know our allies.

We have the same opportunity right now in Iraq — and our President is not willing the capitalize on it.

Too bad he does not have the nerved to say out loud that it would be a good idea to enhance our economic ties to Iraq.

  17. Glad he is going to meet with them. Maybe they’ll BLOW him up.

  18. Of course Barry will order that none of these muslims are to be searched or scanned when they enter the White House so that they won’t be offended.. and as a consequence one of them might just go BOOOM! during the meeting in the Oval Office.

The bad news is that all those historical artifacts in the Oval Office are irreplaceable.

Perhaps Biden will be in attendance?

Valerie, primarily you did it by bombing the snot out of us. That’s how it is. You crushed us, you crushed the fascists. You bombed the crap out of Adolf and Tojo. The US economy crushed us, luckily. I have the US production numbers from WW2 and they are outright SCARY. Frightening.

Then there was, what is commonly called, the “zero hour”. We could start anew. Thanks to the US.

As for the troops, at least in Japan they do cause problems. The issue is that many soldiers and marines are very young. They are sent there without proper training. Japan is not Germany. The culture is significantly different. You either have a natural knack for it (like I do, I never felt it alien or along that line, for me certain things in Japanese culture always helped my point there, because I think in similar ways, always have), or you train before you go there.

And when we look at the actual occupation of Japan, well, the US has been whitewashing a lot there. The Aussies haven’t, cheers on them. I don’t want apologies for what happened (like the almost 1,400 police reports stating that US troops have raped Japanese women in the Tokyo-Kanagawa area in the opening days of the occupation alone. 47 prefectures exist, round that up, it’s a terrifying number.) Just accept that it happened. Period. It’s a historic fact, confirmed not only by Japanese police files, but also by Australian files and Australian MPs and historians.

Still, before everybody jumps me, the US occupation was the lesser evil. It was the one call Hirohito did right. I know the reports of what Soviet troops have done to Japanese women and girls in Manchuria. The things that happened there are just… horrifying. Terrible. Yes, normal rape is horrible and absolutely disgusting, but what the Soviets did is much, much worse than that.

And yet, even though many bad things happened during the US occupation (ironically the rapes were actually mainly done by non-combat units, at least on Okinawa, where one Marine eyewitness reported that the Marines actually took care of Japanese soldiers who raped Okinawan women, cheers on those Marines), it was the lesser evil. And good riddance the fascists were bombed to hell. Sadly a lot of innocent people died, too, but this wasn’t the US’ fault. This was our fault. Our people didn’t stand up against fascism quickly enough. Hell, the whole world watched those bastards rise to power and did nothing.

    Just like today.

  20. Addition: cheers for the US for freeing us from the Nazis, Hitlers and Tojos.

Muslims are some of the most wealthy Grasshoppers on the planet..

they acquired their wealth off the backs of their ants..

Obama is envious, not only as a “partner with God”, but as the the NOI’s “Messiah”, is also confident a Kingdom can be created right here on Earth in which he will be the arbiter of our collective salvation..

disclaimer: “I am not a Muslim” ~ Mubarack Hussein Obama

    learned, Obama supports Iran’s Mullahocracy..

oh yeah, Bush was evil alright, he was
    also the last AMERICAN PRESIDENT..

  27. Obama knows exactly what he is doing – destroy the American capitalist system and support the Muslim world attaining it. Blinders off please.

  28. WE need to start calling for him to resign and get out of the White House and take his morons with him. It is time to force him out!!!!!!!!!!!!! When we rally next month in Washington it needs to be in front of the White House with our posters demanding his removal. WE NEED TO GET REAL LOUD!

  29. Our economy is going to hell in a hand basket and this President is calling together the Muslim World for a parternership meeting . Per his spokesman Robert “Giggles” Gibbs this gathering of muslims will lead to greater opportunities abroad and at home. You bet, greater opportunities to further push our Nation farther into the “crapper”. My god we all know Obama is “learning on the job” , but it’s time this farce comes to an end…

Totally right. UN troops have comitted horrible crimes but nobody ever does anything about it. Nobody complains. Nobody puts them on trial. Nothing is ever done. Because the UN is somewhat… I don’t know… sacred? Above the law? Because, you know, it’s the “international community” and thus it’s superior and better or something.

People always talk about how bad the Germans and the Japanese behaved in Russia and China. Nobody ever mentions how the Russian troops behaved towards German and Japanese women and children. How many of them were actually raped to death? Nobody really knows. But it’s unimportant to the left! Because… the Germans, Austrians and Japanese are still guilty of what happened 60 years ago! Even those who were born long after the war! Yep, I’m guilty of WW2 and the Holocaust. Because some leftist bugger says so.

When Hitler rose to power there were several points where he could have been stopped without many problems.

    When he reintroduced the draft.
    When he occupied the Rheinland.
    When he occupied Austria.
When he took the Sudeten areas.
    When he occupied Czechoslovakia.

But all of that was accepted by the British and the French. They watched and appeased that bastard. They tolerated it because they wanted to prevent a future war.

Churchill said: “You could have chosen either war or cowardice, you chose cowardice and now you shall have war anyways.”

On September 1st 1939 Hitler invaded Poland starting the European theater of WW2. Despite all the appeasement.

Hitler also worked closely with the mohammedans. There was this mufti who helped Hitler filling up an SS division with… mohammedans. An SS division. Hitler’s own “perfect” political soldiers. And even today Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” is a top seller in mohammedan countries.

    Coincidence?

    I don’t think so.

    Committee voted on
    the Armenian genocide..

[A resolution calling the World War I -era killing of Armenians genocide has narrowly passed a key committee of the U.S. Congress. Turkey has responded by recalling its ambassador from Washington for consultations.

Over the objections of the Obama administration, the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee (Thursday) passed
the nonbinding resolution by a vote of 23 to 22.

The legislation declares that the killing of Armenians
during the Ottoman Empire was genocide.

Almost immediately, Turkey's government ordered its ambassador
to the United States to return to Ankara for consultations.]

tough you know what’s, it was what it was, and nothing can change
that fact, as to why we have the final say so befuddles me though..

i don’t know why people keep separating Marxists from Islamists..

as they’ve long ago joined in an unholy alliance
in their mutual quest to dominate the world..

["Here are two brother countries, united like a single fist," said socialist Hugo Chávez during a visit to Tehran last November, celebrating his alliance with Islamist Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Che Guevara's son Camilo, who also visited Tehran last year, declared that his father would have "supported the country in its current struggle against the United States." They followed in the footsteps of Fidel Castro, who in a 2001 visit told his hosts that "Iran and Cuba, in cooperation with each other, can bring America to its knees." For his part, Ilich Ramírez Sánchez ("Carlos the Jackal") wrote in his book L'islam révolutionnaire ("Revolutionary Islam") that "only a coalition of Marxists and Islamists can destroy the United States."

    [..]

Third, Islamism has historic and philosophic ties to Marxism-Leninism. Sayyid Qutb, the Egyptian Islamist thinker, accepted the Marxist notion of stages of history, only adding an Islamic postscript to them; he predicted that an eternal Islamic era would come after the collapse of capitalism and Communism. Ali Shariati, the key intellectual behind the Iranian revolution of 1978–79, translated Franz Fanon, Che Guevara, and Jean-Paul Sartre into Persian. More broadly, the Iranian analyst Azar Nafisi observes that Islamism “takes its language, goals, and aspirations as much from the crassest forms of Marxism as it does from religion. Its leaders are as influenced by Lenin, Sartre, Stalin, and Fanon as they are by the Prophet.”

Moving from theory to reality, Marxists see in Islamists a strange fulfillment of their prophesies. Marx forecast that business profits would collapse in industrial countries, prompting the bosses to squeeze workers; the proletariat would become impoverished, rebel, and establish a socialist order. But, instead, the proletariat of industrial countries became ever more affluent, and its revolutionary potential withered. For a century and a half, author Lee Harris notes, Marxists waited in vain for the crisis in capitalism. Then came the Islamists, starting with the Iranian Revolution and following with 9/11 and other assaults on the West. Finally, the Third World had begun its revolt against the West, fulfilling Marxist predictions—even if under the wrong banner and with faulty goals. Olivier Besancenot, a French leftist, sees Islamists as “the new slaves” of capitalism and asks if it is not natural that “they should unite with the working class to destroy the capitalist system.” At a time when the Communist movement is in “decay,” note analyst Lorenzo Vidino and journalist Andrea Morigi, Italy’s “New Red Brigades” actually acknowledge the “leading role of the reactionary clerics.”]

for all intent & purpose, they are an army of ONE and, imo,
should be called IslaMarxists which is exactly what they are ..

Islamism by any other name = radicals

Marxism by any other name = radicals

sorry for the repeat, but these facts cannot be stated
enough.. not that they’ll get very far, but we can try..

    via bg #46:

[Writing in London's Spectator, Douglas Davis calls the coalition "a godsend to both sides. The Left, a once-dwindling band of communists, Trotskyites, Maoists and Castroists, had been clinging to the dregs of a clapped-out cause; the Islamists could deliver numbers and passion, but they needed a vehicle to give them purchase on the political terrain. A tactical alliance became an operational imperative." More simply, a British leftist concurs: "The practical benefits of working together are enough to compensate for the differences."

The burgeoning alliance of Western leftists and Islamists ranks as one
of today's most disturbing political developments, one that impedes the West's efforts to protect itself. When Stalin and Hitler made their infamous pact in 1939, the Red-Brown alliance posed a mortal danger to the West and, indeed, to civilization itself. Less dramatically but no less certainly, the coalition today poses the same threat. As seven decades ago, this one must be exposed, rejected, resisted, and defeated.
