It’s the economy, stupid.
An unemployed Ohio woman confronted Barack Obama after his health care pitch. She lost her job in the insurance industry this year and blamed Obama for it.
Unemployed worker Ingrid Martin says the leftist bloggers are now attacking her for confronting Obama during his dog and pony show.
Could you even imagine if this would have happened to Bush?… Do you think it would have made a few headlines? This actually happened on Wednesday but for some reason the corrupt media ignored it.

The only thing Obama is concerned with is total power and CONtrol. That is why he has been obsessed with “healthcare” from the very beginning. Its all about transforming America into a socialist country. ENSLAVING THE MASSES into one giant welfare state. He has instituted his faith as the state religion, SOCIAL JUSTICE, which of course is a tenet of socialism. Those who want everything handed to them think its wonderful.

The build-up of anger just may result in the greatest turnaround of political power in D.C. in this countries history. Control of the House – which will take 41 seats – is now very much a possibility. And the change of ten Senate seats isn’t out of the realm of possibility any more.
With Congress sporting an approval rating of 18% – and still dropping – something major is in the wind. Let’s hope it happens in time to put a stop to the Socialist State juggernaut.

OT: Did anyone else catch Michelle Bachman on C-Span speaking to Congress a little while ago? She was speaking about the massive govt take-overs of industries since Obamao took office and how the passing of this health care reform bill will bring the total of nationalized industry to about 40%. She really tells it like it is. I’ve got to say that as much as I adore Palin, I’m beginning to think even more of Bachmann. Should she ever throw her hat into the ring for a run at the presidency, she’d have my support.
She was followed by Steve King and Rep Foxx (whose first name I don’t recall), both also giving speeches worth listening to.

Dissent is no longer the highest form of patriotism. Any questions or complaints, or noncompliance of any sort, will be savagely attacked by the left wing fascist cult on the blogosphere. The media will never do anything to call their rigid worldview into question, so of course no one should be the slightest bit astonished by their ignoring this incident. There is no point in even getting mad about it any longer. The MSM must be destroyed, as an influential force in the mainstream of America, as Andrew Breitbart reminds us daily.
Developing new forums for opinion, already well under way, must only be the beginning of the measures that must be taken to take back the country from the Regressive revolutionaries. We must take back the schools and universities and other bedrock American institutions too. We have been far too long asleep. Now that the population has become alarmed over the Regressive takeover, we must mount our own Long March back into the institutions they stole from under our noses and expose them for what they are, where they are. It’s getting late.

Most of these comments make me embarrassed to be registered as a republican. You make comments about this woman as if she is the only American. You make comments against “Dems” as if your ignorant ass is more American than the Democrats in OUR country. many of us disagree on how the country should be run, but we are all American. You make racist comments about Mr Obama OUR President as if all Democrats are black, African American or a minority. This Ohio woman lost her job because the business owner who is probably a republican like most of the negative commenters here, made a business decision based on Fear of the future. That is no way to run a business and it’s more than likely an excuse to feed an employee. But of course she blames Obama and so do you. The entire healthcare system needs to be over hauled! Should the US government just go on throwing good money after bad just so that no one ever loses a job? Should the government just put everyone on the payroll regardless of if the system is working or not? You are a bunch of ignorant worker bees following the misinformation being fed to us by the “higher ups” who are so afraid of change that they would sacrifice this country to suit themselves and their jobs. They don’t care about our jobs either. They don’t care about our businesses. They proved it with the sick banking and real estate practices of the recent past. They continue to take millions of dollars in bonuses each without any consideration for the rest of the country including other business owners. It’s a sickness that needs to be cured. They are completely without character. They are ruining this great nation.

Well, its not like she can prove she’s not lying, and that’s what Obama would reasonably assume, since the left does it all the time. Still, between things like this and the tea-party protests, he’s probably in tears now that he’s had a dose of reality…you know, showing him more than adoring fans.
Like a movie character who discovers his glossy world is fake, and the real cops don’t drive Ferraris.
Left Coast Conservative commented:
Glad that she spoke up. Her comments about the state of the job market and the insurance industry echo what I’m hearing in our left coast state. Small business owners are unable to create reliable forecasts because of the potential changes at the national level as well as changes at the state level. (See the State of OR, measure 66 & 67 for an example) The changes are not value neutral – they have consequences and they will effect both the employer and the employee.
The concern voiced by Embarassed is spoken like a true troll – without merit. I’ve heard this before – generally from people who don’t have an understanding of business and who believe that most business owners are making money hand over fist and are all about the money.
When we start hearing from business owners instead of the tiresome talking points from those with a political ax to grind, we’ll have better information and a chance to craft real reform – not takeover.

Oh really Nick? And you have proof of that I suppose? I hate to tell you this, but no President in history has ever filtered the crowds in their public appearances more thoroughly than Obama. And yes, that woman was right … the primary reason Obama noticed her and showed interest in her was because he considered her a security breach, and he wanted to know how she got in.
And to “Embarrassed Republican” ….
Yeah, you’re a Republican, and I’m Gandhi. I’d love to know how many people this administration has on the payroll hammering out garbage comments like yours. The very fact that you try to make this a republican vs democrat issue reveals your affiliation and your agenda. It demonstrates the total lack of understanding the Obama administration, and liberals in general, have for this movement. This isn’t about black vs white, or republican vs democrat, it’s about freedom vs tyranny, conservatism vs socialism, fairness and honesty vs greed and corruption.

Embarrassed Republican, obvious troll is obvious. You’re fielding “racist comments” as argument, but I’ve not yet seen one racist comment on this site. The ones bringing in Obama’s “race” (aka the color of his skin, which isn’t actual “race” anyway, since Obama and Bush are both homo sapiens, and thus from the very same race, just like every other human on this planet; you screaming about racism would have some merit if there were human races other than homo sapiens still around, but they’re not) are ALWAYS Obama’s supporters. Always. They always have to bring it in. Always. Shows clearly who the true racists are.
You’re as much a registered Republican as I am an American citizen.
“They are ruining this great nation.”
If with “they” you mean the Democrats you’re dead on.
Because, hey, you wannabe Republican, here’s an idea for you:
Come to Europe. Here you can see Obama’s “smart” ideas at work. Here you can see people flocking to private insurance, because nationalized health care is utter crap and might even get you killed (like in the UK, where the NHS has waiting lists for cancer surgery, and where we don’t have the best survival rates in breast cancer.) Here you can see people starting to oppose uncontrolled immigration and “amnesties” towards illegal immigrats, people taking it to the streets, angrily shouting “We want our country back!” Here you can see working people being taxed to death by corrupt, overbearing governments that piss on democracy. Here you can see the death of freedom and liberty brought upon the people by the corrupt governments and the EU in the name of some “greater good” or “European idea”.
Let me guess, you’ve been in Europe, but as a tourist. Tourists only see our sights, our folklore, and that’s it. Tourists never see the ugly side of our welfare states. Rising national debts. Rising deficits. Rising crime rates. Rising violence in the streets.
That’s what the US is heading towards under Obama and the Democrats.
Andreas K. commented:
BTW, the German national debt is ~1.7 billion Euros. And growing.
Does anyone really think that spending like crazy for decades is going to work on the long run? Sooner or later these debts will be due. How is Germany going to pay? How is Austria going to pay (our national debt will hit 75% of our GDP in 2012)? How is the US going to pay?
Look at the US deficit and national debt and then tell me where that money is going to come from.
Oh yes. The “rich”. Take from the rich, give to the poor, right? Which, ultimately, creates a society of poor people. Everybody will be poor, because eventually you will run out of “rich” people to tax.
The money will become worth less and less. In Europe we see it with the Euro. Oh yes, the great Euro. Greece is bankrupt. Spain, Portugal, Italy, they will follow eventually.
Before the Euro a regular hambuger at McDonald’s cost 10 Schillings here in Austria. Today the same hambuger costs 1 Euro. 1 Euro is, roughly, 13.67 Schillings. That’s an increase of 33%.
And the funny thing is, the Euro is pretty much unreal. It’s not backed up by anything other than the EU. And the EU has no actual economy, nor anything else that would really back up currency. Nothing like the US and the Dollar, or Austria and the Schilling, or Japan and the Yen. Nope, it’s pretty much an imaginary currency invented by some nuts in Brussels (who nobody elected.)
The same politicians who pointed fingers at the companies out there and screamed murder at capitalism are destroying more money every month than GM would manage to destroy in ten years. But the same people claim to know how to run the economy. Yes, I’m totally going to believe that. Yep.
If a company would be run like any government… that company would be out of business within 24 hours.
And since when is spending what you don’t have “smart”?
Andreas K. commented:
Hold it. It’s not billion, it’s 1.7 trillion Euros. Trillion.
We count differently in German. We count “Million, Milliarde, Billion”. Million is your million, Milliarde is your billion and our Billion is your trillion.
Why? No idea. It’s stupid. Which, again, proves that German as language sucks.
And, just FYI, the German budget for 2010 is roughly 320 billion Euros (that’s additional debt worth ~80 billion Euros.) One third of that gets pumped into the German welfare state and even that is not enough.

Speaking of federal employees….
Boring from within
The Obama administration has tapped Nawar Shora, legal director of the Arab-American Anti-Defamation Committee (ADC), to serve as a senior adviser for the TSA’s office of civil rights and civil liberties.
[..]
The Washington Post, in what I would describe as a celebratory article, is very clear about what Shora’s role will be at TSA. It states (under his picture in an article appearing today) that Shora “is used to fighting for the civil rights of Muslims and Arabs, but now he will do so as a federal government official.” Shora is equally clear, saying “it is about time I cross over to the government and start working within the system.”
But TSA is not a civil rights organization; it is (or should be) an organization dedicated to promoting safety and thwarting terrorism. Shora’s appointment is more evidence that TSA is not sufficiently dedicated to that purpose. Shora’s mission in life is not promoting safety and thwarting terrorism; it is promoting the interests of Arab-Americans by, for example, making sure they are treated the same way other Americans are.
Unfortunately, the two interests are not always consistent. I would argue that they were not consistent, for example, at Fort Hood when it came to dealing with the Arab-American officer who murdered Americans. Lives were lost because we were overly solicitous of that Arab-Americans civil rights, as conceived by ADC. Lives might well be lost to the extent we similarly are overly solicitous of the civil rights of Arab-American airline passengers.
We will need to keep a close eye on the Obama administration TSA.

Wright, Obama, Farrakhan, Gaddafi
[The following year, in January 1996, Farrakhan returned from another trip to Libya. It was the same month in which Barack Obama became an Illinois State Senator. By then, Obama had been attending Rev. Wright's church for ten years, the latter five as a committed member. The New York Times reported:
Louis Farrakhan, head of the Nation of Islam, visited Libya this week to meet Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi and discussed how to "unify, mobilize and organize" American Muslims for elections in the United States this year.
Colonel Qaddafi, the Libyan leader, quoted by the state press agency, said: "Our confrontation with America used to be like confronting a fortress from outside. Today we have found an opening to enter the fortress and to confront it from within."]
It’s the Ideology!

and the Muslim Brotherhood. [.]
[.] So in America, we’re looking for regime change in Washington. And the only regime change that we can look forward to in the near future is to get the Democrats in the White House and put the Republicans, as Malcolm would say, ‘in the dog house’….”
