Obama Administration Restores Full Funding to Corrupt ACORN Org.

ACORN is the largest radical leftist group in America today.
This radical group worked closely with the Obama camp during the election but, the community organizing group was not open about the relationship. The photo below was scrubbed from the ACORN website before the election:
One of Barack Obama’s first big “community organizer” jobs involved ACORN in 1992. He worked along side ACORN before he became an elected official. Obama also trained ACORN employees. He represented ACORN in court. Obama worked with and protested with ACORN. His campaign donated $800,000 to ACORN in 2008 for voter registration efforts.
And, ACORN even canvassed for Obama in 2008.
In 2009 Obama promoted a top ACORN operative, Patrick Gaspard, who’s organization was fined $775,000 for election violations, to a top post in the White House. Gespard is helping shape domestic policy today.
Barack Obama was not honest about his relationship with ACORN.

Matthew Vadum at Big Government reported that the Obama Administration restored full funding to ACORN this week:
In a March 16 memo Office of Management and Budget (OMB) director Peter Orszag quietly ordered federal agencies to resume funding the group whose employees were caught on hidden camera videos last year condoning a variety of crimes including child prostitution and tax evasion.

ACORN is greatly wounded. They lost millions recently in that they can’t shakedown banks that reject bad loan applications for the poor. With their crashing, blackmail funding is dry. Just awareness alone now grinds a lot of their activities to a halt.

The charges were dropped by the Obama Justice Department which also dropped the charges against the Black Panthers that intimidated voters.

That’s right. There’s no way to know what is on the original tapes. But we do know that the tapes that have been released were doctored.
In any case, the U.S. Constitution prohibits bills of attainder.

The tapes weren’t altered nor have charges of altering the tapes ever been brought against O’Keefe. In fact, ACORN’s complaint against O’Keefe’s tapes were that they were made without the knowledge and permission of ACORN and the ACORN employees who were filmed. This suit against O’Keefe was dropped.

Though the DOJ didn’t overrule the funding ban on ACORN, it has dropped some of the numerous charges brought against them. Big Government is a good source of articles about the many corruptions of the bullet-proof ACORN.

PS: Be sure to read the stories at Big Govt about the rebranding of ACORN. By the end of this year, it will appear that ACORN has gone belly up. However, the same people will still be doing the same (illegal) work, many times in the same old ACORN offices, the only difference being the name on the sign over the door.

Well, some of us have wondered what Obamao’s right hand has been doing while the entire nation has been focused on the health care bill in his left hand. Restoring funding to ACORN is probably just one of them, but it’s nothing to take lightly. putting ACORN in charge of the Census and voter registration throughout the 50 states could ensure a Demonrat majority in both houses through 2012 and beyond, as well as a second term for Obamao.

It’s NOT a bill of attainder or a punishment-without-trial to stop passing out money to somebody– unless you can show me a contract where it states the US Govt agrees to give ACORN X amount of dollars for Y period of time. A grant is a one-time payment and doesn’t imply continuance.
It’s like if you donate to the American Red Cross one year, and the Salvation Army the next… do you believe the Red Cross has a claim on your charity funds forever and ever?
