It’s beyond sleazy.
A new poll shows that Obamacare is very unpopular with the majority of Americans.
Pajamas Media reported:
Today, the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest Advance (CMPI-A), in partnership with Pajamas Media, is releasing national survey data on Americans’ views of the proposed health care reform legislation before Congress…
The CMPI-A/PJM poll demonstrates an extremely high level of concern with the current bill:
· Six in ten Americans (60%) agree that a current Democrat proposal to send the Senate health care bill to the president without voting up or down on it is “unfair.”
· Most Americans oppose (81%) health care reforms that would increase insurance premiums for healthy people to offset premiums of people who wait until they are diagnosed with an illness to purchase insurance.
· Eight Americans in ten (81%) oppose allowing the government to decide what kind of health care coverage Americans are able to purchase.
· Most Americans (87%) oppose having a government panel recommend or decide what medical procedures or medical advances your doctor or health plan can or cannot use.
· More than eight Americans in ten (84%) support reforms that would allow people to buy health insurance where it is the least expensive, such as across state lines.
· Three in four Americans (76%) oppose health care reforms that would raise taxes and cut Medicare benefits to pay for health care subsidies for expanded coverage for those currently insured.
UPDATE: Another poll finds nearly half the nation’s physicians would consider quitting if the bill becomes law. The New England Journal of Medicine survey indicates 46 percent of doctors would consider leaving their practice.

The dems don’t care about polls or the will of the American people. This is about taking over 16% of the nation’s economy. And, they are adding the student loan program to the package. This is a political war, and the future of the country is at stake.

From The Weekly Standard;
46.3% of primary care physicians (family medicine and internal medicine) feel that the passing of health reform will either force them out of medicine or make them want to leave medicine.
Analogy, The ocean recedes before a tatami hits the shore.
Not an analogy, it will f*ing hurt everYbody.

Scenario:
Your kid falls in the playground. One inch gash on forehead.
After getting to a local Dept of Head Wounds Processing Center, then funneled into a 400 seat waiting and document disbursement lounge to fill out forms 339-kF/24.
Denied because sub-form 772-bk/3 wasn’t properly stamped, you are ushered back to sub-station Z for reprocessing.
After all forms are signed, stamped and processed, you are given the golden ticket to Health Services Dept 7c to fill out an application for pre-approved stitch per cut-size review.
Your kid is allowed 3 stitches, the maximum gov’t approved head wound allowance.
Three weeks later you get a robo-call for medical service at a government stitching center two states away. You have two weeks before the appointment so you make arrangements for transportation.
After filling our your paperwork for crossing state lines for medical treatment, and subsequent approval, your kid’s fever from septic shock puts him into a coma, which at least quiets the screaming.
As you arrive at the stitching center, your child is observed to show systems of fever and you are redirected back to your local gov’t office of Fever and Inflammation Center for processing and approvals.
Think I’m kidding? Go to Canada with a broken arm…
Hope and Change is almost here folks. Start stocking up on do-it-yourself home surgery kits.

You know things are going poorly for the dems and Obama when Michael Moore is even b*tching about their “stink on ice” healthcare legislation.
Wonder if that means he doesn’t want Emmanuels job anymore?

There is something seriously wrong with the Right in America. They believe just about anything, no matter how ridiculous, as long as it confirms their preconceptions. This rumor has been repeated on Foxnews, and just about every right-wing blog.
New England Journal of Medicine says it didn’t publish or produce health care “survey”.

And by “when they pass this” I really mean “when the Democrats forcefully take over another sector of the economy against the will of the American people.”

“New England Journal of Medicine says it didn’t publish or produce health care “survey”.”
Well, Ed Morrissey did the keyboard work and found out why.
“The NEMJ has edited the page at the link. They note that the survey was taken in December by The Mediscus Firm and now refer readers to their site. Originally, the data below was listed on the NEMJ site with a date of March/April 2010.”
Hey Zach – better put some ice on that… The fact that it was not the NEJM does NOT mean that doctors will not “Go Galt” over this abomination of a bill.
If I were a physician, I’d be preparing to practice underground, or give up altogether.
The Government has NO RIGHT over my health, nor my health care. And neither does it have any right over a physician’s practice. NONE.
Jon commented:
Typical dumbass liberal Zachriel, instead of focusing on the actual survey results, you focus on who it was done by. While your right that the NEJM did not conduct the survey, it does not diminish the fact that the survey of physician found that if Obamacare does pass 46% of Drs. would consider leaving the profession. So it’s not a rumor or even false, just that it wasn’t done by the NEJM. Man you liberals are freaking stupid!!!

My spouse is a Physician with 25 years experience, and trust me, if this raping of taxpaying American citizens gets passed competent healthcare providers including doctors will quit before they are subjected to standards of care they can’t in good conscience live with. It will take a few decades to replace them with foreign substandard practioners. The government will import locums losers during the interim. But there will be no penalty for botched butchering. Part of me thinks anyone who voted for this monster deserves whatever horror awaits them medically. Unfortunately the rest of us will suffer too.

Conservatism means an adherence to the truth and to measured responses.
Please correct the blog to point out it was a non-scientific survey, and that drawing any conclusions from this report is simply unwarranted.
Joanne commented:
Wow, just imagine if the doctors in America decided to quit if Obamacare was passed. Then what are the Democrats going to do? Hah!
Jon commented:
Wow Zachriel, you just keep bringing the stupid. However, stupid and being a moonbat are no way to go through life. First your claim was that the NEJM didn’t produce or publish the survey, and when shown that the substance of the survey was all that mattered. You then doubled down on stupid and now claim that the survey wasn’t “scientific.” So which is it, is the problem that the survey was not produced by the NEJM or that it’s not scientific?? While your at it, go back to your buddies at Media Matters (yeah their not partisian), to get all your talking points. Because it’s obvious that you can’t do the thinking for yourself. Bring the proof that it’s not scientific.

I don’t like to use the word ‘hate’ but it’s an appropriate word to describe what I feel. I was thinking that I should pray about it, but doesn’t God hate evil?
Oh wait, I’m not God. I’ll go pray now…
Zachriel commented:
Jon: So which is it, is the problem that the survey was not produced by the NEJM or that it’s not scientific??
Gee willikers. The original blog post was wrong and it’s still wrong, and not yet corrected. The survye wasn’t published by the New England Journal of Medicine. That’s important because the reputation of the journal lends undeserved credibility to the survey. Nor was it a scientific survey. “The survey was conducted via emails sent directly to physicians,” per The Medicus Firm that did the survey.
What matters here is that the blog has yet to post a correction. Instead of the commenters insisting upon accuracy in the blog, there is a continuous stream of invective to shield against the truth.
