Another Hollywood Bush-Bashing anti-American dud.

When will Hollywood learn that just because they hate America does not mean that we hate America?
Big Hollywood reported:
Universal’s “Green Zone” became the latest Iraq War-themed movie to fall down the box office rabbit hole, debuting to just $5 million in the U.S. and Canada Friday, according to studio estimates…
AP confirms: “Green Zone” opens to a dismal $14.5 million.

very good. I hope he will not been seen by many people.
Americans relies how good Bush was and what a big “0″ Obama is.
Robert commented:
Aren’t they supposed to be so smart we watch their propaganda every time? Ha! They can’t even make a decent movie any more.
They have let their theaters be taken over by popcorn-throwing, phone-talking, punks who think that what they have to chatter back to the screen interests their fellow movie patrons. Back in the day, an usher would be ushering them out the door.
Hollywod hates America, and America is growing weary of the preening self-adoring stars and directors who persist in undermining all of our institutions.
Curth commented:
Good. I can’t stand that talentless, square-headed idiot. The guy is dumber than a box of rocks.

More ammo for Breitbart and his buddies to start their own studios. Please, please, please!
(I’ve always thought that Matt and his buddy Ben were lightweights from the get go. I was right.)
Ex Dem commented:
Horrible human being that’s a Horrible actor makes a horrible movie. Shocking to all except everyone that is sane and not a lefty
Matt Dumbon strikes! No wonder Hanks made his goony bird comments. He knows his movie is going to tank as wel land is praying the controvery wil lresult in ticket sales.
jetstream commented:
Today’s Hollywood doesn’t make movies for the provincial American public. We’re too unsophisticated to grasp the depth and nuance of their message-films. World citizens however, will thoroughly enjoy this American bashing tripe while they are still able to benefit from the dwindling reserve of American protections.
too funny commented:
Sean Penn, Matt Damon, Tom Hanks…..the “Air America” of Hollyweird. You’ll find out that your fellow lefties won’t make you a penny in profit.
Looks like Matt Damon and his movie has been “tea bagged” by we the people LMAO
sarainitaly commented:
Serves that Palin bashing Obamabot right! I guess this movie’s even worse then a bad Disney movie.
Jo commented:
They spelt his name wrong. it is Matt Demon.
J commented:
Matt Damon belongs to the Bozos from Boston Club.
Joanne commented:
Matt Damon is an actor who thinks that when he plays a par,t it is somehow equivalent to what real men and women do in war. The guy is a joke.
myna commented:
The movie is not only BAD, but when Matt Damon inflated ego starts to pretend that he is somewhat an expert in domestic and foreign policy then he has a problem.
Richard Romano commented:
Haha, I love it — they spent 100 million on this leftist agitprop.
opaobie commented:
Like today’s outstanding, brave, bright military heros, my conduct and the conduct of my peers was and continues to this day to be slandered by politicians, anti-America Hollywood freaks, and the media. Sadly, they have again been joined by both the ignorant and the unpatriotic and encouraged by enemies and traitors to undermine our efforts. Military veterans are a brotherhood of unique individuals, melded together in the crucible of wars past and present and bonded by duty, honor, sacrifice, blood, and love of country. More so than through any other fraternity, the associations and friendships formed through the military and law enforcement and firefighters and other emergency service providers are lifelong, and we mourn the loss of our comrades until we rejoin them again someday in formation in Heaven. Sadly, politicians and historians and “film makers” do not understand, let alone share, our code of conduct and ethics. Perhaps someday they will learn if they have the courage and will to seek the truth and report it honestly and accurately.
dewey commented:
If these Hollywood, history illiterate nimrods hate our country so much, seriously, why don’t they just leave? Go make movies for Chavez and Castro.
d_fitz commented:
Matt Damon-FAIL!
jainphx commented:
They said that Joe McCarthy was lying about Hollywood—HMMMMMM seems to me he was more right than wrong
serpent commented:
Making money isn’t the point. This movie will be around forever, in a few years it will be on TNT or some other cable channel all the time. This movie is nothing more than propaganda that will help cement the leftist narrative of the war in Iraq.
brooklyn commented:
Damon, Hanks, Penn, Glover, etc.
H-Wood is loaded with the most mindless Democrats.
It really is truly embarrassing. But then look at what happened to NBC, ABC, CBS, etc.
The content is an utter failure, often pushing the most ignorant political garbage.
When will this Nation return itself to some sanity?
kate commented:
As if Matt Damon can act. For that matter, as if he can write. There’s some question as to how much he and Ben A-Fleck did on that Good Will Hunting script. The suggestion is that primo screenwriter William Goldman did the heavy lifting.
templar knight commented:
Exactly, serpent, this is what the leftist morons in Hollywierd consider pro bono work for the greater good. Whether it is Justice Department lawyers who formally represented terrorists, or movie producers willing to take a hit(although I’m sure tax lawyers will figure a way to deduct the loss), it’s all part of the liberal, lefty propaganda war. And the only way to stop this crap is for conservatives to start movie studios.
Big L commented:
Damon and h’wood Lefties are creating a historic
record by havingall these movies around. We know it is leftie twaddle, but 10 yrs from now people will dn load them and say “Oh yeah, It was Bush’s fault. And everyone knew the war was phony” . IT is Totalitarianism:first you re-write history.
Dlew commented:
You like apples……?
Well your piece of crap propaganda film epically failed….
How do ya like them apples?
Patriot Act commented:
I found it encouraging that Hurt Locker, which in the final analysis is a pro-military, anti-terrorist movie, won all those academy awards. There may be more conservatives in Hollywood than we realize, or they may finally be waking up to the dangers confronting our nation.
rich commented:
when will Hollywood learn … ?
They won’t, this is what make ‘em liberals, the ability to pretend to the end.

Tom63010 commented:
These types of movies are becoming less and less desirable for the studios to make.
Movies that parents can take their children to and ones that may be a little beyond their maturity but still have a positive message like The Blind Side make money and are slowly overtaking this kind of garbage.
People don’t want to go to a movie that rips on America and American values.
hermie commented:
Too bad Damon didn’t sink his own money into this turkey. But then, most liberals use some dumb capitalist’s money and never risk their own bucks. That’s how Damon and the others can live lavishly while at the same time lecturing people in flyover country about their ‘greed’ and insulting their intelligence with these loser films.
jonyjoe101 commented:
Remember they haven’t actually lost. To us it looks like the lost big time.
But come Oscar time, they will be rewarded for there anti-american bashing movie. The Oscars don’t care how much money a movie makes, they care only if the right message was delivered.

[Dulmatin, one of the most wanted al Qaeda-linked terrorists in Southeast Asia, has been confirmed killed, Indonesia's resident Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said during a meeting in Australia.
"I can announce to you that after a successful police raid against the terrorists hiding out in Jakarta yesterday, we can confirm one of those killed was Mr. Dulmatin, one of the top Southeast Asian terrorists that we have been looking for," President Yudhoyono said, according to ABC News.
"For the safety of our people, for the safety of Australians and Indonesians and the rest of the world, let us continue our cooperation to fight terrorism," he continued.]

Personally, I’m voting with my pocketbook these days. That’s easy of course as the wallet is pretty light. Now it’s personal, Mr. Damon et al. We’re not supporting this garbage and your leftist agenda. I’m also not buying new clothes or going on vacations, but that’s another story!
Opus #6 commented:
From what I hear, Oprah isn’t doing as well as she used to, either.
Hmmm. Formerly closeted leftists come out of the closet. Americans vote w our wallets. And all is put to right. Ahhhhh.

templar knight commented:
Opus, I do wish it would be so easy, but we constantly help these people by having to pay for Cable-TV stations we don’t want, such as MTV and CNN. I’m almost at the point of canceling cable, but perhaps fighting for Cable-TV that allows me to pick the channels I want is the route to go. Because it galls me to give these people one cent.
Lily Ledbetter commented:
Damon needs to make a movie about how he refuses all the American capitalist cash he makes from bashing America. He’ll be more believable then.
John commented:
Anyone who presumes that Matt Damon cant act should go and see The Informant.
And of course the moral of this posting, and of all the comments too, is that only right-thinking red-state folks are American patriot or passionately concerned about the state and future of the American body-politic, and that everyone on the left is a cancer on/in the USA body politic.
If only we can get rid of this leftist/progressive cancer, then everything will be hunky-dory again in Norman Rockwell America.
Scapegoats anyone?
American Elephant commented:
The fact that this movie bombed is NO EXCUSE for forgetting that Damon made such an anti-American film to begin with.
My family and I will not be watching ANY more Matt Damon movies ever, period.
Hope others will follow suit.
opaobie commented:
Matt Who?
Scott commented:
So is he going to claim the standard excuse that ‘moviegoers are just sick of the Iraq war’ again? (Which the Hurt Locker disproved btw)
Or is he going to admit that his movie stinks?
AtomicLibSmasher commented:
What do ya expect from a mongoloid who takes the likes of Howard Zinn at his word? The guy is a moron and I’m glad his dumb anti-American movie bombed. By the way, in the commercials, why is he wearing combat fatigues with a keffiyeh? Anyone else notice that in the commercials?
Andreas K. commented:
The last Hollyweird movie I watched was “Inglorious Basterds”, but that doesn’t really count as “Hollyweird” anyway.
Other than that… not touching Hollyweird. Apart from showing leftist BS Hollywood consists of remakes and people who can’t act. Why would I pay for that at all?
southernsue commented:
if this guy, matt damon hates our military, why does he continue to make military movies?
JLawson commented:
“if this guy, matt damon hates our military, why does he continue to make military movies?”
Because that way he can show his acting abilities?
Besides, you’ve got to remember that Hollywood isn’t giving you what you want – they’re giving you what they THINK you should want. For example – take 2003′s “Master and Commander”. I’d have loved to see more of Patrick O’Brian’s books turned into movies. They did an excellent job on that one – and then? $150 million to film, $210 million total box office worldwide, 3.5 million DVDs sold… and “poof” went any sequels. It didn’t earn enough.
Hard to realize sometimes that money actually matters in Hollywood, with the anti-war crap or enviro-catastrophy garbage coming out that’ll never come within sighting distance of breaking even.
Carolynn commented:
Matt D. said awful things about Sara Palin during the 08 campaign.
I vowed then never to see any of his movies. I’m glad to hear this was a bomb.
Nahanni commented:
The only movie studio that is making money is Disney. Alice in Wonderland, The Pirates of the Caribbean series, the Toy Story series, Up, etc.
I wonder why that is?
Could it be that they specialize in movies that are entertaining, do not contain leftist propaganda (for the most part) and are movies the whole family can enjoy?
greenfairie commented:
Ha ha. I don’t think that even covered the cost of Damon’s toupee.
Don Rodrigo commented:
I hope the studio fails to recoup the $100 million they spent to make this lying pile of crap.
Eventually, somehow, the bottom-line boys will grow a collective pair and refuse to let these self-important assclowns lose any more studio money.
dl211 commented:
Hope Hollywood goes down right along with that once great state of Kalifornia. Just goes to show what a bunch of far-left losers with Marxist views can do….bunch of anti-American bozos. We’d get a better PR deal from overseas than from the loony left!
