Marco Rubio: This Country Today Is Being Run By People Who Don't Believe in the Free Market System (Video)

Republican Marco Rubio was on with Neil Cavuto today. The Florida conservative told Neil that the country today is being run by people who don’t believe in the free market system and are forcing America to abandon it through the public policy they are trying to impose.
Marco Rubio ought to be a welcome voice in the Senate Republican Caucus. Let’s hope he never loses that grit to tell it like it is.

Mr. Rubio is right. If the godling’s DeathCare bill is sooo great for the American people, why was it hammered out behind closed doors? Even more outrageous, why does the bill exclude legislators, union thugs, and others to be excluded later?

What we are witnessing is nothing less than an attempted Communist coup. People have got to speak the truth,and stop trying to avoid the obvious. It has become politically incorrect to say that someone is a Communist, but the truth must be told. We are under assault from so many directions that it seems like we are surrounded. Yet he gives us a 2.25 trillion healthcare bill, and will spend more than what he cut the Coast Guard on bribes for health care votes.

I’m in Florida and the more I hear this guy, the more I like him. He’s from the old school Cuban community. (Not the criminal Clinton/Carter/Bush wet foot-dry foot group) When I was growing up my dad’s best friend was from that era. He was as solid an American as anyone born here, more in some cases. My hunting camp in the Everglades was next to a group of Cuban “hunters” that practiced “hunting” in the ‘glades every week end. Now it looked a whole lot like military maneuvers, but I was a kid so I could have been wrong. They were strong decent and hell bent on reclaiming their country. They hated an oppressive government.

I saw the video of Rubio’s speech at CPAC. Several times during the speech, I caught myself thinking how much he sounds like a young Reagan with his undying belief in indivudual freedom and free markets. I strongly suggest everyone watch it.
If he walks the talk, he is the real deal. I live in MO so there’s not much I can do to get him elected, but I’m definately going to contribute money.
