Leftists Prevent Ann Coulter From Speaking at University of Ottawa

The tolerant left prevented another conservative from speaking in Canada.
The peaceful pro-Palestinian demonstrators in their keffiyahs would not allow her to speak.
This is how it’s done folks…
Bill Hennessy described the necessary steps–
Ann Coulter Ottawa speech shut down… 2000 protesters surrounding building with rocks and sticks — pulled fire alarm in building. Cops shut it down! Blogs calling for Coulter to be hurt. MPs were banned from going, Coulter denounced by an MP in the Parliament.

What’s really pathetic is that they claim to hate the past, the tyrannical regimes of the Middle Ages that carried out witch trials and inquisitions.
If these people had any power, the inquisitions would again take place — in Canada, they have the Human Rights Commission, which operates like a de facto inquisition; you must defend yourself at great personal cost, while the accuser’s legal expenses are covered by the government.
Just take a gander at that woman screeching — if she had any power, what do you think she’d do with it? The university is the scariest, most ideologically-rigid place on earth.

When I had the misfortune of living in Canada for a year in Toronto, Canada was taken off the UN list of Christian nation. Canada lost it’s soul a long time ago. You have never seen the litany taxes that is imposed up there.
One was a VAT (value added tax) that was imposed on food. If a truck of beef passed from Manitoba heading to Ontario, a VAT was by every province it traveled through. Even their largest grocery stores had very little variety.
We could easily be in the position of Canada in just a few short years. However, we can stop it. We just have to get the Dems out of power.
If we can take over Congress in large enough #s, B.O. becomes nothing more than a lame duck. He can continue his “dithering”.
Maybe we can still save our relationship with Israel as well.

So to a certain extent, Canada is part of the EU anyway, and thus has to follow the EU standards of “free speech”.
Coulter can be glad that she didn’t do this in Brussels. They would have arrested her with riot police there because she would be called the one who’s inciting hatred.
Just like they’re doing it with Wilders in the Netherlands. He’s the one who spreads hatred. Yep. For opening the koran and pointing at what’s written in it. Pointing at those things is inciting hatred. Preaching them isn’t.

You know, I kinda think that, for a lot of these pieces of street trash, ideology doesn’t have as much to do with it as the fact that Coulter is a single outsider and they are a mob, and relative weakness is a provocation to certain types of people. Ann Coulter’s speech was cancelled – big deal; surely a speech by Ann isn’t high up on the priority list anywhere. It is stupid that the speech was cancelled, but what do you expect these days when you want to make a speech at a university….especially one in Ontario.

Reports by bloggers at the scene of the protest wrote that a core group of 40 – 50 seemed responsible for the shouting… that’s a far cry from many of the msm’s reports of “thousands”
so tomorrow night Ann will be here in Calgary.

Joanne, I lived in your country for a year and got to see your healthcare up close. You cannot pull the wool over this US citizen. They tax you to your teeth, and the healthcare is substandard.
Unfortunately now, your citizens will not be able to get the kind of care in the US that they are used to having and depending on. I live in a border state. I know how many Canadian citizens cross every day to get services unavailable in Canada.
It will take a while, but we will eventually be as bad off as you and Britain and other socialized nations. It is the crime this President and Congress perpetrated against the world.

[I arrived at Marion Hall – or, more accurately, sort of near it – at about 6:30PM. The line was already at least several hundred people long, and more were arriving every minute. Police estimates (yes, the police were eventually involved; read on) put the final crowd size at about 2,000, but at that early stage there were still enough people to create a line that snaked the equivalent of several city blocks around another university building. The front of the line – and the people in charge of everything – could not be seen. This surely contributed to what ended up happening.]
like i said, not that it matters, but how could this person tell it was only about 200 in a crowd that large, especially if ones view is undoubtedly restricted due to such a large crowd, that this person could count those they witnessed is one thing, but to unequivocally state the number of protesters is another.. at any rate, im glad some fought back with the seemingly violent protesters who ultimately managed to shut the whole event down regardless of how many there were..
