Leftist Media Giggles Over Sport Fishing Ban

Last Night the Rachel Maddow Show ridiculed the “Conservative Piranhas” Gateway Pundit and Michelle Malkin who were out “lying” about Obama’s sport fishing ban.

** A sweeping oceans and Great Lakes management policy document proposed by the Obama Administration will have a significant impact on the sport fishing industry, America’s saltwater anglers and the nation’s coastal communities.
** The draft policy, the Interim Report of the Interagency Ocean Policy Task Force, issued on September 17, will govern federal Pacific and Atlantic Ocean waters and Great Lakes resource conservation and management and will coordinate these efforts among federal, state and local agencies.
** The American Sportfishing Association (ASA) has serious concerns regarding the direction the administration is taking regarding how to manage our nation’s marine and freshwater public resources, choosing a tone of preservation over conservation.
** In September 2009 a published administration document outlined a structure that could result in closures of sport fishing in salt and freshwater areas across America.

** The task force is charged with putting in place a new ecosystem management process called marine spatial planning.** Under the guise of ‘protecting’ these areas, the current second phase of the Task Force direction is to develop zoning which may permanently close vast areas of fishing waters nationwide.
** Angling advocates point out that senior policy officials on the task force seem inclined to ally themselves with preservationists and environmental extremists who want to create ‘no fishing’ preserves, with no scientific justification.
This concern by American fisherman that Team Obama will ruin their freedom like they ruined the economy is real. Sorry Rachel, your “catch of the day” was Stinkfish.

Water was cut to farmers to save a fish, so to think fishing may be banned to anglers to save or protect fish isn’t such a reach.

When you think about it what has Obama done right? He has divided this country in such a profound way. He hasn’t created any jobs even though he keeps spending money to do so. If you try to save money the Feds have mandated that the banks pay under 1% interest. The equity in ones home use to be sacrosanct. Now people struggle to pay back loans which are double what the house is worth. Now if he gets Slaughter Care passed he can control everything we do including how long we live.

My cousin in Mississippi has two African-American ladies she works with who swallowed Obama Mania hook, line, and sinker (pun intended) who now have in essence said “Becky, we didn’t believe the things you said at the time but now we see you were telling the truth, we are sorry and we will listen to you and Fox News from now on and we will use our voices and vote to correct this.”
I truly believe that the midterms will be worse for the Democrats than 1994. In 1994 people were upset but also Newt Gingrich’s Contract With America was a very good campaign strategy. He also followed through and gave us balanced budgets, of course the Liberals give all the credit to Clinton just like they give Gorbachev all the credit for ending the Cold War.
I digress, my opinion that the people this time will not need any more motivation and I sincerely believe that Obama will use Executive Order and any means he can to continue his Socialization of America. In 2012 it will be even worse for the Democrats!
