Howard Dean admitted this week that Obamacare is a redistribution of wealth.
Via BreitbartTV and Naked Emperor News:
On Thursday Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) also admitted that Obamacare would correct the mal-distribution of income in America.
Of course, neither one of these socialist tools are willing to part with their money… It’s only your money they’re interested in.

Some details of the “health care” bill make it clear that the Dems believe some of us–many of us, actually–have too much health care. They seem more intent on ratcheting down the standard of care than on making it better for anyone.

I’d like to know why Howard Dean thinks its not HIS WEALTH that will be redistributed?
I mean, if he can’t make any money as a doctor anymore, then that will lead him to giving speeches on the circuit – which is taxable income – at a higher rate due to Obamacare – that will be redistributed.
If that doesn’t come to pass, if he can’t make anything extra on the side of his medical practice (is he still a doctor who sees patients btw?), then he will be living off his savings, and that will be redistributed as he won’t have it anymore once he uses it.
where is howard dean in 10 years?

I don’t get how those who have the money and the power don’t see that they will have theirs redistributed in the future. Its simple checkbook economics. Unless they’re exempt?

I have always felt that I am either too poor or too rich to be a socialist. The very poor have nothing to lose and much to gain. The rich know that they can arrange to exempt themselves. It is we poor suckers in the middle who will be “redistributed” out of existence.
Hmmmm. I wonder who the poor, whose resentment and entitlement will have been fed for political gain, will turn on when the middle class is gone?

1. The HCR Act is virtually identical to the 1993-94 REPUBLICAN alternative to the Clinton plan.
2. The model underlying the Act was authored by REPUBLICAN Mitt Romney.
3. The “mandate” about which you liars are so hysterical is an OLD “idea” generated by REPUBLICANS, and included in the Act on demand of the REPUBLICANS.
Your deliberate demonization of the majority is the typical inflamatory far-right lunatic fringe demagoguery flung at reason, reality, and truth.
But, don’t let the facts get in the way of the truth. You understand, don’t you, that the Bush Administration and the Republican Congress redistributed wealth upwards for almost a decade. So now that it’s flowing back down the hill and those making over $250,000 have to pay a bit more, all of a sudden it’s socialism?

Dems are soooo holy about redistribution of the wealth. This is because they are part of the 50 percent of this country that doesn’t pay taxes at all. If it was coming out of their paycheck, they’d be raising hell. If you don’t have to pay taxes, you don’t have any worries about all the entitlement programs they put in place.

I believe that the fear of the bill is greater than any actual issues in the bill. While I don’t agree with all of the proposals (like I don’t agree with any particular party or politician) something needs to be done.
Currently the insurance companies are running the health care industry. I have friends and family that are doctors that own their own practices and they have to pass rising costs like malpractice insurance to us to customer!
While the bill addresses people who can’t afford it being able to get health care, it doesn’t regulate insurance companies from raising our premiums whenever they want for no reason.
Because of the belief that higher earners should pay less taxes goes along with trickle down economics. We have seen this in action from the Reagan years to the Bush administration. yes Dean said that this is a type of redistribution of wealth, but he also said it was an additional 3.8% on those that earn $250,000.00 or more! He did not say that he would go into your bank account and take money from you to give to your neighbor, that is a scare tactic perpetrated by those who don’t want you to think.
Open your eyes and ears, any tax is a redistribution of wealth! The roads we drive on, the schools that our children go to, state workers, these same polititions that tell you wealth redistribution is wrong are benifitting from that same thing. They represent us so a portion of our wealth is paying their salary, and now all of a sudden its wrong!
I’m not saying I agree with this new policy, I’m just saying if you disagree with it lets have a real reson, not just some phrase that has been shouted and repeated by those benifitting from the very thing they are shouting down!
When I see people on medicare/medicaid vehemently shouting “no government health care” I just shake my head and am ashamed at what my fellow Americans are doing. It’s ok to be mad, but it’s not ok to be a sheep!

More Surpises From ObamaCare: Preexisting Conditions Not Immediately Covered
In what is rapidly turning into a farce, Democrats in the House of Representatives are uncovering surprise after surprise in the ObamaCare legislation they just rammed through Congress. Last Friday Representative Henry Waxman scolded U S corporations for announcing expected losses owing to the passage of ObamaCare and summoned them to Washington for what will be a another piece of kabuki theatre.
Today we learn that President Obama’s promises about banning insurance company practices of not covering pre existing conditions is, err, no longer operative.
