Figures. Obama's Mentor Doesn't Take Responsibility For His Actions Either

Barack Obama’s mentor and father figure Rev. Jeremiah “G-D AmeriKKKa” Wright became national figure in the 2008 election after video was released showing HIM cursing America after the 9-11 attacks. He also has a history of attacking whitey, blasting Jews, promoting anti-Semites, and supporting Hezbollah and Hamas.
But, just like Obama, Jeremiah Wright does not take responsibility for his own actions. Today he blamed the media for the supposed harassment his family endured because of his HIS hateful racist remarks.
The Washington Post reported:
President Obama’s former pastor Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. on Wednesday compared the president to a son who was being treated unfairly and said it had been hard weathering the media storm after Obama became a serious contender for the White House and controversy erupted over Wright’s fiery sermons…
…Wright became politically radioactive after YouTube videos of his sermons at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, in which he called on blacks to sing “God damn America” and said the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks were “America’s chickens . . . coming home to roost,” went viral online in early 2008. On Wednesday night, though, he left the dashiki and fiery rhetoric of those videos behind for a business suit and preaching from the 23rd Psalm in a measured tone.
The YouTube videos focused damaging attention on his family, Wright said, and especially on his youngest daughter, Jamila Wright, and a granddaughter.
“The day I took Jamila to campus, Fox News was on the sidewalk taking my picture. My granddaughter got into a fistfight at FAMU [Florida A&M University] because people only know the press narrative about Jeremiah Wright,” he said. “The press didn’t care what they did to my family. They ruined their senior year in high school. They were at the senior prom, the graduation, waiting on something to try to destroy Obama.”
Obviously, it wasn’t the Reverend’s fault.
He was the victim.

If a Republican politician or close associate of a Republican politician were to say anything similar to what Rev. Wright said but in reference to black people, who would Rev Wright hold responsible? “Racism” has become nothing more than a political club with which to beat upon Republicans or conservatives. Liberals and Democrats can never be held to any similar standard. It’s time to start laughing at any charge of “racism.”

As for his youngest granddaughter, has she been indicted for felony assault? It certainly sounds like that might be the case, since being actually assaulted on a college campus based on who here grandfather is sounds very unlikely. But silly me…perpetual victims like her cannot actually commit a crime.

That liar trundled all over Africa and the US telling black people that the US government invented AIDS for the purpose of killing people of color. Naturally, medical workers have had a hard time convincing some black people to learn how to protect themselves from HIV infection, and in America, blacks have a disproportionately high number of HIV infections, allegedly due to “lack of access” to medical care.

The media narrative about Rev. Wright leaves out a great deal. Yes, this guy let his 15 minutes of fame go to his head and made a fool of himself, but if you look at the totality of his ministry over the course of his tenure with that congregation, he accomplished a great deal of good for his community.
White Christians in this country could have taken the opportunity provided by the politically motivated broadcast of excerpts of Rev. Wright’s sermon to examine the difference between the experience of white and black people in America and the different understanding and different strengths these groups find in the same religion. Unfortunately as is evident from the posts here, too many Americans fell for the bait and found it too easy to condemn Rev. Wright (and Obama – the real target).
Anyone who would physically attack Wright’s daughter because of their (no doubt inaccurate) views of her father is simply a racist jerk and should be expelled from the campus. It’s not Wright’s fault that there are racists in Florida. More likely it is the fault of people with attitudes much like those expressed above that simply cannot abide the fact that others have a different perspective on America.
