Dems $940 Billion 10-Year Plan Will Cost $923 Billion in Last 6 Years

This is how radical statists guarantee that their ten year plan comes under One Trillion dollars.
They only count 6 years.
The Democratic leaders reacted to the cost estimates today just as expected:
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said the legislation is “the largest deficit-reduction bill that members will have a chance to vote on” in most of their congressional careers, The Washington Post reported. The package contains “more deficit reduction than both the Senate bill and the House bill,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said today. “This is really a triumph for the American people in terms of deficit reduction.” The Democratic-controlled House is expected to take action on the bill by Sunday, although Republicans have opposed the measure every step of the way.
They should be jailed.
This is how Democrats ensure their 10 year plan comes under $1 Trillion:
They don’t start up their $940 billion plan until the 5th year.
There’s a reason that democrats didn’t want to see these numbers in a chart.

The health care plan isn’t implemented until 2014, so what are they planning on doing with the first 17 billion dollars? This is what Americans should really be worried about, because it isn’t going into a bank account to collect interest.

One thing to note is that the oft-quoted $940 billion number only pertains to the cost of expanding coverage — which is the bulk of spending in the bill — but it does not include all other costs, such as the providing more Medicare prescription drug subsides, which costs about $20 billion.

Pretty phucking simple. It starts costing when the health care is actually provided.
In other words. We pay for BILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLIONS and get NOTHING in the first 4 years. The last 6 years cost a TRILLLLLLION. Just think about that for a minute. We pay for 10 years and get 6 years of service.

Unfortunately, we have been on the downward slope ever since Roe vs. Wade. Our country has inch by inch been abandoning God for decades now. God is a God of justice. It’s like paying a mortgage on a house but not being able to move into it for four years. Now let’s add insult to injury. During that time you will continue to pay your current mortgage. When you move into that house in four years it may–or may not–be the one you originally bought. And all the money you paid into that phantom mortgage may or may not have gone to pay for that house. So, guess what? The price you originally thought you were going to pay has to increase otherwise the bank you paid into is going to collapse. And all the bells and whistles you were promised in the house were never put in.

Assuming the $216 billion cost for year 10 (in 2019) is correct, does that mean that years 2020-2029 will cost $2.16 Trillion?

Clearly none of you people are self employed and buy your own health insurance. Aetna raised the rates for me and my family 18% one year, then 28% the next year. Then my wife was diagnosed with MS. At that point if we missed one payment they would have canceled our policy and we would not have been able to get another one. This is the system you like????
Luckily I was able to join a group plan through the Chamber of Commerce. THe proposed health care plan is just a big group plan run by private insurers.
