Cuban Marxist Dictator Fidel Castro Praises Obama & Dems on Nationalizing Health Care

Cuban Marxist Fidel Castro congratulated Barack Obama and democrats for seizing control of the health care industry this week.
FOX blog reported:

President Obama went back to Iowa on Thursday, where he gave his first speech on health care reform in 2007, and where he won the Iowa Caucuses in 2008, but far away in Cuba, another world leader offered his congratulations.

Cuban leader Fidel Castro called the passage of health care reform a “miracle” but couldn’t resist taking some shots at Obama, saying health care in Cuba was enacted years ago. In an article published in the state run media, Castro said the passage of health care would strengthen Obama’s hand against “lobbyists and mercenaries” but then quickly moved to praising his own country.

“It is really incredible that 234 years after the Declaration of Independence … the government of that country has approved medical attention for the majority of its citizens, something that Cuba was able to do half a century ago,” Castro wrote.

Since taking office, President Obama has already lifted travel restrictions for Cuban Americans in the United States wishing to visit their home country as well as sending family members unlimited funds.

Castro’s primary point with the passing of Nationalized Healthcare was not the ‘healthcare’ but more pointedly that it would give Obama more power.

A point that shouldn’t be missed coming from a Marxist Dictator to a Marxist ‘soon to be’ Dictator.

You are so right. I saw this happen in Venezuela with Chavez. We seem to be heading in the same direction. He amassed more power as he went along and then it was too late to do anything.

Those terms, the first two are the Fox blogger’s words, the last one phrase is Castro’s, are all very misleading. That POS health care bill didn’t “reform” health care – deformed it, maybe, but didn’t reform it. There was no passage of health care, as if this country has had no health care industry and US citizens have never seen a health care provider before now and the “passage of health care.” Even Castro’s verbiage about the bill is more BS than I would have expected. It reads as if the majority of Americans have never received medical attention because medical attention in the US hadn’t been approved until this past Sunday.

Call it what it is, people. Describe the for what it actually does. It’s the socialized health care bill and it socializes or nationalizes health care, putting the health care industry in the US in the hands of the Federal govt.

Oh, and when I first looked at the restroom pic, I gagged. I have a thing – a revulsion-type thing, that is; not a fetish-type thing – about unflushed toilets. They’re supposed to be flushed; that’s what the handle is there for.

You sure have. The media tries to put a spin on things and says that this is staged, photoshopped and what have you… well it isn’t. That’s how people live. I have reports from friends in Venezuela that the electricity is cut off now without warning, and the problem with water is eternal. When I lived there we always kept a huge plastic trash can full of water to flush the toilets if the water was cut off. Happened regularly. This is a reality that most Americans can’t fathom. It exists… and that photo is real.

They gave out 3,000 tickets for his appearance at the Fieldhouse, which has a few bleachers, but otherwise required attendees to stand in a crowd on the floor. At least the small venue looked full for the cameras.

Meanwhile, the 15,000 seat basketball arena sat empty only a few blocks away. Its tiered seating would have afforded his admirers excellent, unobstructed views from comfortable seats, but there also would have been plenty of room for protesters and possibly lots of empty seats for the cameras.
