NewsBusters reported on CNN’s anti-Tea Party bias:
“Hundreds of people, at least dozens of people - we haven’t gotten a count of how many people turned out there. We heard Sarah Palin talk about everything about the campaign, to unseat Sen. Reid to what she calls ObamaCare, on the heels of that health care vote and even talking about her definition of her love of America.”
This photo was taken at 1:35 p.m. More than an hour and a half after the rally started people were lining the highway trying to get in.

It has nothing to do with the latest awful piece of legislation Congress just passed without the consent of the governed. Oh, no, it’s raaacism. Technically, yes. It is dozens. Several hundred dozens. At the point of several hundred, dozens becomes a bit absurd and inaccurate but still technically correct. Therefore, one could argue that its use signifies media bias in an attempt to minimize the numbers by stressing the more inaccurate measure word.

Only China or Russia could pull it off, but Russia has better things to do (like beating up Europe, which personally I find highly entertaining, especially when the high and mighty Eurocrats are taught yet another lesson by the Russians) and China has massive troubles on the horizon (the Chinese growth will slowly grind to a halt, since unlimited growth is not possible, and they have massive issues with their polupation), so they’ll be busy as well.

Obama goes to a town/city of 100,000 people but gets at most 5,000 participants; when Sarah Palin shows up in a town of 500 people, she gets more than 10,000 participants: this is confusing to the MSM. CNN is troubled so it takes the number of participants and divide it with the number of residents to tell how many people where there. This is an example of why nobody watches CNN anymore. I haven’t seen their news channel on television for at least 3 years and haven’t visited their website in probably longer than that.
That isn’t any kind of conscious decision to avoid CNN, it is just that there is no content that interests me there. After having seen the lopsided polls and distorted reporting like the example above, I simply quit going there and apparently many others have, too.

I saw the reporting. Frankly it was bizarre. They showed the crowd and talked about dozens, thus belying the narrative. The presenter was a disgrace. She had a look on face vaguely disturbing, like she had hemorrhoids. She went on and on about how ‘reloading’ was a call to violence. Something even the site reporter found yo be silly. But the presenter would not let it go and became visibly angry when the reporter would not play along.

There are two ways to get to Vegas from the South, either through the Hoover Dam, which has traffic backed up for miles due to security checks, or through Searchlight. That is pretty slick of the teabaggers to pick a spot where so many cars come through on a Saturday and take credit for attendance. The times I’ve driven from Phoenix to Vegas, it’s taken me 15 minutes to get through security crossing Hoover Dam–TOPS. Certainly not the “miles” you state, and even if it were, certainly not worth going from Bullhead City all the way to Needles or across 68/163, then up. And even then, I’ve run into accidents on 95 (I used to live in CA as well.) There are plenty of side roads in and around Searchlight to bypass 95 coming in. IOW, “Vinny”, you’re being a tool, and know not of what you speak. As usual.

Just want to say, with the wind blowing 25 to 30 mi an hour the whole time, I didn’t see ONE piece of trash laying around….not one rude person…..not one honery yeller. Sadly, I did see the Teaparty buses come rolling in with eggs smashed on their sides; thanks to the approx. 35 Reid followers standing on the corner in Searchlight, pockets apparently full of eggs…….just waiting…. The problem with attacking the Tea Parties is that the American People identify themselves with that movement more than they do with either major party. No Tea Party protester advocates radical changes to America; no one advocates violence. It’s for fiscal discipline, reduced spending, accountability and a pro-jobs agenda. They are also for a smaller government and less interference in our lives. That’s a difficult platform to attack on its face.
