Breaking: Vandals Toss Bricks Through Windows at GOP Headquarters in Virginia

Surprisingly, this story didn’t make any national headlines.
That’s weird?
Bricks were thrown through several windows at the GOP headquarters located in the Albemarle Square Shopping Center.
Vandals tossed bricks through the windows of the GOP headquarters in the Charlottesville area.
Daily Progress.com reported:
Bricks were thrown through the windows of the Albemarle County GOP headquarters overnight in what appears to be the Charlottesville area’s latest act of politically fueled vandalism.
County GOP Chairwoman Rachel Schoenewald arrived at the office in the Albemarle Square shopping center Friday morning to find two windows shattered and a third partially damaged.
“Hopefully, everyone will conduct themselves as community members and that this violence does not escalate or continue,” she said.
The county’s GOP headquarters also serves as the district office of Del. Rob Bell, R-Albemarle.
Schoenewald declined to blame any particular group, but noted that people are angry on both sides of the political spectrum.
For some reason the state-run media has largely ignored this attack.

I’m not surprised at all by this. I worked out of that office for the RNC during the 08 Presidential campaign. Charlottesville is full of liberal nutters…during the entire fall campaign pretty much every day there were reports of them burning the 4′x8′ McCain/Palin signs that we put up along the roads.

WaPo just put up an article about this. Yeah, it’s soft soap compared to the reports of vandalism on Dem offices but at least they printed it for a bit of balance.

….this is just the beginning.
Taken all in all, i.e., all the interesting events over the last week, it’s a full-court press against conservatives. And, if they can’t get these godless Bible-thumpers and others who disagree with them to ‘STFU’, they’re going to ratchet up the pressure.
The question becomes….
What WILL they do in order get US to STFU?
Or what will they NOT do?
After all, for them, the ends justify the means….

Later the police determined from the trajectory of the bricks that they were tossed up in the air “randomly” and happened to hit GOP HQ by sheer chance. The police spokesperson concluded by saying, “nothing to see here…move along!”

I read a nauseating article by Peggy Noonan in which she states that both sides have to lower the rhetoric. Who has raised this rhetoric to a fever pitch The Democrats? Eric Cantor said that he gets all kinds of threats — he passes them on to the proper authorities but doesn’t publicize them. Why because violence breeds violence? ….if we do nothing—other than plan to vote them out this November—they’ll STILL need to declare martial law in order to prevent the loss of Congress.
