A birther article posted at Free Republic within the last 12 hours was blamed for shutting the website down this morning. Free Republic is still down.

After nearly 3 years of silence and death threats to me and my family to stay quiet, I am compelled to come forward and tell the world my secret.“I helped Obama campaign staffer Divorah Adler create a fake birth certificate for use in the famous Fact Check story to prove the world of Obama’s birth in the 2008 election. Divorah approached me in early 2007 and held onto the birth certificate until she released it in August 2008.
“As I’ve been making fake IDs part-time for local college students for about eight years now, faking a birth certificate was actually quite easy. Our first step was to get our hands on someone else’s birth certificate from Hawaii. We then created the stationary to match.

I’m going to give this one three days. By the end of that time, I expect to know if “Chanise Foxx” is a real person, whether he/she hears funny voices in his/her head, and whether this is a prank to make the “birthers” look like fools.
In the meantime, I will add that the Obama Campaign challenged John McCain’s citizenship, and that his campaign promptly released his citizenship documents. The Obama Campaign did not respond in kind to a similar challenge.
The only conclusion I draw from this is that BO wants to be able to revive this issue from time to time as a distraction and as a way to claim that those who legitimately oppose his policies are nuts.

There is one sure method of stopping all this, and that is for Obama to release all records, school, birth, everything. He’s hiding something, and what ever it is would be detrimental to him. He says officially that he is 46, but on his own web site he said he was 49. I don’t know what to believe, I just know we know less about this precedent, than any man in history. WHY?

If his birth were registered based upon only an affidavit from someone claiming knowledge of a birth in Hawaii, but no proof had yet been submitted in the form of supplementary evidence, the newspapers would still have announced the birth. But the announcement may have been as false as the affidavit. That’s why everyone needs to see all of those original “vital records” the DoH has on file.
DA: American citizenship is not the issue. Natural born citizenship IS the issue. Arnold Schwarzenegger is an American citizen, but he’s not eligible to be POTUS.
The story at Free Republic is back up. The comment in question states that it’s fiction. Maybe they pulled the story down to insert that clarification to the comment.

I’m skeptical of some of this because there’s another story floating out there about Obama having numerous social security numbers. That story originates from a blog of an Obama supporter. Stories likes these are going to need serious documentation and fearless truthtellers.

Unforetuneately these morons are destroying the real issue, which is that Hawaii issues birth certificates to persons not born in Hawaii if either of their parents were residents of Hawaii within a year of the birth of the child. It is clear that is the reason that Obama will not release his original birth certificate. The one released, an abstract of his birth certificate, is real, but does not show that he was born somewhere but Hawaii. That is the reason he will not release the original birth certificate.

Since when is a birth announcement in a newspaper legitimate proof of someone being born somewhere? I could call my local newspaper today, and report a birth of someone, and they would not ask for proof. What do they need proof for? It’s not for any type of legal document.
Barack Obama has proven himself a liar, can I ask why you would give a serial liar the benefit of the doubt on this or anything else.
There is a very simple way to end this, ask for his records, have her under oath, lie detector, whatever it takes. I wouldn’t be so quick to believe this sociopath Obama on anything. I recently renewed my Michigan driver’s license, and I decided to go for the ‘enhanced’ driver’s license which doubles as a passport, allowing me to cross the border into Canada. To get it, I had to show my ‘long form’ birth certificate which states the names and ethnicity of both of my parents, along with the name of the US state they were born in, it lists the name of the hospital I was born in, and this document was signed by the physician who delivered me. Call me a birther, call me crazy, call me whatever the hell you want, but the fact is that by these standards, I had to show more documentation to get a driver’s license than Obama had to show to the US electorate to become POTUS. We have a President who is refusing to show personal, relevant documents as to who he is and where he was born…. and some folks are excusing this secrecy, and I personally find that unacceptable.

What you said about Frank Marshall Davis, is a possibility, although, I disagree on the above. His alleged father Barack Obama Sr. was the leader of a tribe in Kenya. I believe that is why he was born there, according to his father’s position. I believe his mother returned here with him shortly after his birth. He would not have assumed her American citizenship even to become naturalized, according to the laws at that time. Also, when he was adopted by his Indonesian stepfather, any naturalized citizenship was relinquished, and he became an Indonesian citizen. I don’t believe he ever retook the oath to citizenship upon returning from there. Yes, everyone, we have a “historic,” Presidency, the first Indonesian President of the United States, a Muslim Indonesian President, leading an American War in Afghanistan. To me it’s not that Obama wasn’t necessarily born in Hawaii. I’ve always wondered what could be on his long form birth certificate that could be so damaging to Obama. Possibly the man he says is his father isn’t listed as his father, or it states his religion is muslim or some other information that Obama does not want public to know. Or that he was born elsehwere, and his mother took advantage of that year window to get a Hawaii certificate when she saw the advantage of him being an American citizen. That could explain why his birth certificate number is out of range with others born the same time as he was. Or he was legally adopted by his stepfather and used his Indonesian citizenship to get foreign scholarships to American colleges. That explains why there is no release of his official college records because it shows he represented himself as a foreign citizen when it was beneficial.

Of course it means something. It’s likely a cue to the source of the message — i.e., a Leftist trying to discredit conservatives and doing so in a mocking tone. If “wanting answers” so badly results in conservatives embracing obviously fradulent “stories,” don’t you think that is counterproductive to the advancement of conservatism? I do think it is counterproductive, and I would prefer to take down Obama on policy issues — which is happening now — than hoping that some far-fetched story about his birthplace ends up being true. To me, the fact that the ruthless Clinton machine never found anything to these birth certificate allegations is probably good proof that there is nothing to them. There will certainly never be enough info to prove it to the satisfaction of enough people in this country. But if you want to be marginalized and mocked like the “9/11 Truthers,” then feel free. Unfortunately, all it does is help Obama and the Left advance their far Left agenda. I wish it didn’t, but it does.

The newspaper birth announcement is generated when a birth is registered in Hawaii. 99% of Americans are born in hospitals, so the hospital would register the birth automatically(required by law) so if Obama was born in a Hawaiian hospital he 1.) was born born in Hawaii and 2.) the birth was registered in Hawaii. However, per Hawaiian statutes, it is possible to register a birth in Hawaii if the child was not born in Hawaii. E.g., Obama’s mom claims Obama was born at home, and, as per Hawaiian law, his mom registered the birth herself, claiming he was born in Hawaii when he was not. Why won’t Obama release his hospital birth records?

If you google “Obama crow adoption”, you’ll be reminded that Obama had himself “adopted” by native Americans during the race.
Although no one can confirm this, I have a strong suspicion that Obama registered the adoption with the Hawaii department of records. This would have the effect of sealing his original birth certificate, and creating a new birth certificate showing him as the Hawaii-born child of two American citizens — thus laundering his past and fabricating a natural born citizenship identity.
That would be why he cannot release his birth certificate now. It now shows him as the child of two American Indians, and the original birth certificate is sealed. — patent manipulation.

Why do we allow anyone to classify us one way or the other? An individual is usually classified based on what they actually say or do. Unfortunately, when this individual is a conservative and thus a member of a larger group with other conservatives, it reflects badly on and classifies all conservatives (like moi) if the individual with the help of others in the group pushes a nonsensical story built on a series of flawed or thin assumptions, selective use of evidence, non-existent evidence, and wishful thinking. It is unfair to others in the group, but that’s reality, whether you agree with it or not. Both conservatives and liberals engage in these types of blanket criticisms and generalizations of the other side, though I believe the Left is more ruthless and disingenuous when doing it.
Personally, I treat people as individuals based on their actions, attitudes, behaviors, etc., but most people do that, especially many that cover the news and many that vote.

The birth issue or non-issue however one perceives it, is the LEAST of it. The US Constitution provides a protection of the people against bad rulers, against total centralization of power.
He’s a socialist/Marxist. That trumps all. Total opposition to a Republic of the People. If people want him removed from power because they perceive him to be an unraveller of Founding Principles and Institutions, the ballot box is the place to work. With votes, the consensus is reached. As soon as Obama became President he and Michelle both gave up their law licenses. When you apply for a law license you must show proof of birth. So his date and place of birth would have been in the records if Obama kept his License. The withdrawal keeps the records hidden.

I clicked on the link you provided and read it for myself and unless there’s more there than meets the eye, the story is fiction. Ironically, the few paragraphs were written to prove a point about how easy it would be to fool liberals but it turns out that it somehow landed in the lap(s) of conservative blogger(s) and spread like wildfire through the conservative blogosphere.
Fwiw, I had a hard time believing it because surely, if/when Obamao needed a fake bc, someone from his inner circle would be called upon to create it, not a girl working at Kinkos or whatever print and copy store who has a reputation for forging IDs.

To those who say that it doesn’t really matter if Obamao is holding office illegally because it can’t be proved and/or there are bigger fish to fry and/or he’ll be a lame duck for the last half of his presidency and/or any other reason, I say you are wrong. It does matter and if he’s in office illegally, then justice needs to be served. Punishing this ineligible president would go a long way toward making sure that this country never again elects an ineligible president. If there’s no punishment, what would deter another one down the line from doing it?
That being said, I sometimes think that it’s not his bc that he doesn’t want the public to see, that it’s something else in his personal records that he’s hiding. By hiding it all instead of just whatever document(s) that would ruin him, he created this situation in which we’ve led ourselves to the wrong conclusion, which is exactly what he and his people wanted us to do.
Or it could be the bc. I just don’t know. What I do know is that people who have nothing to hide hide nothing. Therefore, Obamao’s hiding something and we have a right to know what that something is. He needs to release all documents, not just the bc, and let us know the truth about him.

The Hawaii DOH has already indirectly confirmed that the Factcheck COLB is a forgery by confirming that:
1) Obama’s birth certificate is amended. Amendments must be noted on the abbreviated birth certificate (COLB).
2) The certificate number is given at the state registrar’s office on the “Date filed” – meaning that the Factcheck combination of certificate number and “Date file” are impossible to reconcile with the Nordyke birth certificates.
I’m not able to get to the article regarding the claims of who forged the COLB and how, but we already know that somebody did it – because the Hawaii DOH has confirmed it.

Obama’s father, being born in the then-British colony of Kenya, was under the British Nationality Act 1948 a British subject/citizen and not a United States Citizen when Obama was born in 1961. But because his father was not a United States citizen when Obama was born, he was born subject to a foreign power which he inherited from his father. There’s no point in pandering to the crazies, they won’t believe whatever you tell them anyways. I mean, if Obama did produce his birth certificate (again) tomorrow, how many of the previous commenters would even believe that it’s real? I’m guessing … few to none.
For that matter, I’ve decided – arbitrarily – that absolutely no-one besides myself who has posted to this Comment section is actually a real, live person. You’re all just bots, and you cannot prove to me otherwise, and any attempts to do otherwise are merely part of an elaborate conspiracy to convince me that Birthers are real people with functioning grey matter.
