80% of Stimulus Dollars For Wind Power Goes to Foreign Companies- Including China.
Thanks to the Pelosi-Reid-Obama Stimulus a Chinese company is helping build a massive wind farm in west Texas. The firm will receive $450 million in Stimulus cash. The project will save or create 300 jobs in Texas and 2,000 manufacturing jobs in China.
That’s what democrats call success.

Jon Karl from ABC News found that most green jobs created by the stimulus are created in China.
Finally democrats are acting to keep their failed stimulus jobs in the US.
The AP reported:
A group of Democratic senators is urging the Obama administration to suspend an economic stimulus program aimed at financing renewable energy, complaining that money is going to projects that are creating jobs in foreign countries.
The four senators, led by Chuck Schumer of New York, wrote to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner on Tuesday to request a moratorium on the Recovery Act program. They asked that the moratorium remain in place until they can pass legislation mandating stimulus aid flow only to projects which preserve and create U.S. jobs.
“A critical Recovery Act priority is investment in the domestic renewable and clean energy industry, not investment in foreign manufacturers,” the senators wrote in the letter, obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press. The letter, which will be disclosed at a news conference Wednesday, was also signed by Sens. Sherrod Brown of Ohio, Robert Casey of Pennsylvania and Jon Tester of Montana.
The lawmakers cited a report by the Investigative Reporting Workshop which found that a majority of the program’s grants went to foreign-owned companies, and that a majority of the turbines purchased with the money were built by foreign manufacturers.

Seems to me that this wind farm is a T Boon Pickens operation and that Nancy Pelosi is either a business partner or investor in T Boons green business operations. It’s too early to google it and I’ve got to go to work anybody else have time to follow up? Full disclosure. I once worked for a company that got raided, chopped up, and sold off by T Boon.

Ever wondered how much more CO2 is generated when using ethanol vs just using gasoline?

Windpower… ridiculous. I want Nazi Nancy to live in a house that has one of those things nearby. I’m sure she’ll love it.
As for the CO2, bill-tb, it doesn’t matter how much more would be generated. It’s irrelevant. We don’t produce enough CO2 to have even a remote impact on the planet. It’s just not enough. The whole concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere is ridiculously low.

Go to Pascagoula Missisippi and you will find the manufacturing plant for GE’s wind turbine generators that are being distributed to the western US. Why Pascagoula??? It is a marine shipping terminal that brings in the generators from China. Manufacturing then amounts to check for paint scratches and adding nameplates. Remember GE ownes MSNBC and is close to the administration. Stimulous bucks do flow to China more so than American workers by political design

We use windpower where I live. There are a couple of areas that are great for it. It does produce a good amount of energy. However, where I live, the majority of our power is hydro and nuclear. We send a lot of our generated energy to neighboring states because we don’t use all that we generate. Yes, our electricity isn’t expensive.
Every wind turbine I have seen is made by GE.

I used to be a huge proponent of building new nuclear plants, nationwide. Not so much anymore – only due to the economic trends.
If our nation collapses economically, who will keep a hundred more nuke plants from melting down?
It’s amazing to watch all this, isn’t it? Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. And all we can do is hold on and watch, since there is nobody left in the legal profession who “has standing” to challenge any of the blatently illegal actions taken by this government. Any lawyers or judges or “with standing” are either in the administration or its ideological brethren.
The admin does 1,000 illegal things, the conservatives put up 8 attorneys to challenge four of the illegal things, three of which are thrown out of court.
