Wrong again.

Unfortunately for Barack Obama, he was wrong here, too.
This weekend global scientists issued a Waterworld Retraction.
The Guardian reported:

Scientists have been forced to withdraw a study on projected sea level rise due to global warming after finding mistakes that undermined the findings.

…Announcing the formal retraction of the paper from the journal, Siddall said: “It’s one of those things that happens. People make mistakes and mistakes happen in science.” He said there were two separate technical mistakes in the paper, which were pointed out by other scientists after it was published. A formal retraction was required, rather than a correction, because the errors undermined the study’s conclusion.

“Retraction is a regular part of the publication process,” he said. “Science is a complicated game and there are set procedures in place that act as checks and balances.”

Game is right. You game the checks and balances so the publication process supports your assertions. Retraction is the regular part of getting caught fudging the data.

There are hundreds of thousands of sea coast communities, with piers, wharfs, slips and quays, houses – all manner of construction built into the ocean off the land. Harbormasters world-wide take tidal readings high and low TWICE a day. If there was ANY absolute ocean rise, we’d KNOW.

Nope. The Left spends A LOT of its time training people to be totally DEPENDENT on “EXPERTS.” We were ONLY supposed to peer at computer charts and graphs, not real life. No “average person’s” testimony was accepted. The new High Priests of the Left – no questions permitted – “deniers” or “unbelievers” must be ostrasized.

Interestingly, out of a bunch of desert nomads, this was noted several thousand years ago:

That’s put very mildly.

The most famous rising sea level study was based on only the Greenland glaciers melting and the water household in the rest of the oceans staying exactly the same. Which is clearly a load of bull that even someone, who’s not educated and train in this area, can see at once.

But let’s not forget.

This, too, is above Obama’s paygrade. Nature science, physics, even medicine, chemistry, etc, stuff that really matters, aren’t things Harvard lawyers learn.

Umm…you guys are missing the totally obvious. The fact that the sea levels are not rising isn’t because he was wrong. It’s because he PREVENTED them! Did you so quickly forget his promise? They only withdrew with his assumption of the office. There could obviously be no other explanation but that the sea levels came to love America again & withdrew their assault on account of his transformational presidency. It’s not that this discredits him. The very opposite. All credit belongs to him. Geez. Get with it!

taking the advice of the world’s leading intelligence experts saying that WMD’s were present in iraq. when we couldn’t find big enough or bad enough examples the press turned on GWB and branded him a liar. he wasn’t just mistaken or misled he lied. the experts didn’t lie or make mistakes, he did.
so now we have another example of the experts being wrong. did obama lie? is the press going to proclaim him a liar or will they defend him and instead go after the experts?

It’s actually painful to listen to the Blowhard when he gets in that folksy between-you-and-me mode. That’s when he says truly stupid things, like “If we inflated our tires and got tune-ups, we wouldn’t need to drill for more oil.” That one is still No. 1 on the all-time list of stupid remarks. But he also sounds stupid when he tries to discuss climate, the economy, healthcare, well, just about everything.
