Whoa! CNN Poll: Only 25% Want Dems to Pass Their Nationalized Health Care Bill

And, this comes from CNN?
Only 25% of Americans want the big spending democrats to pass their nationalized health care bill.
CNN reported:
Although the overall health care reform bills passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate are unpopular, many of the provisions in the existing bills are extremely popular, even among Republicans, according to a new national poll.
A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Wednesday also indicates that only a quarter of the public want Congress to stop all work on health care, with nearly three quarters saying lawmakers should pass some kind of reform.
But, it doesn’t matter. Democrats will try to ram it through anyway.

You’ve got it backwards, I am afraid. CNN says only 25% want ALL health care work to STOP.

On the contrary, Peggy, I think the headline and description are correct.
In answer to the first question, 25% responded that they wanted ‘they wanted Congress to pass a health care bill similar to the legislation that Congress has been working on.’
As it happens, another 25% also responded that they would prefer Congress to stop working on health care.

If you read all the way through the poll info cnn posted, you’ll also see one of the highest (66% i believe) favorable responses was for limiting patient’s awards in malpractice suits. CNN doesn’t seem to mention that in their posted story. . .

Just a year ago the dems were gloating that Republicans would be shut out for a generation. By Nov. that prognostication will be more accurate regarding dems. They’re committing political suicide and so happily.
