What a wonderful commercial.
Only a hate-filled deranged loon would have a problem with this pre-game ad:

Here’s the transcript, via Life News:

PAM TEBOW: I call him my miracle baby. He almost didn’t make it into this world. I remember so many times when I almost lost him. It was so hard. Well he’s all grown up now, and I still worry about his health. Everybody treats him like he’s different, but to me, he’s just my baby. He’s my Timmy, and I love him.

TIM TEBOW: Thanks mom. Love you too.

How sad that such a wonderful commercial could make the libs absolutely lose their minds. What a sad statement that is for the American left.

UPDATE: Here’s the actual game ad. Pretty funny.
Via Story Balloon:

UPDATE: The AP completely misrepresents the commercial.

  1. Pro-life.

  2. The left showed us again who they were by going off on this. Could have been the neighbor next door.

  3. “Only a hate-filled deranged loon could get upset with this ad:”

Yes, they are, and they are.

It’s tragic that this ad, a testament to a mother’s love, could generate the hatred that it has from the pro-abortion zealots.

  4. Tragic indeed but not surprising.

  5. ADVERTISEMENT

  6. The funnier version was just after the game started. Same basic sentiment, but Tim tackles his mom! Then he pops up and she says something about how she’s tougher than he is. Priceless!

  7. I just love how they made absolute fools out of the left.

  8. ++

that is what they were all up in (fitb) arms about??

    what is wrong with them!!

that was milder than any of those chunky soup commercials..

    dang, idiots have more brains..

    ==

  9. Anything the celebrates life and family values is hated by the left.

  10. Is this the original version?

My wife swears she read or saw another version that was more controversial.

  11. NOW and the other pro-death promoters were ‘up in arms’ about this ad????!!!!-geeeez…
I was hoping the ad would have ‘hit them between their eyes’!!!!!
As a long supporter- of Focus on the Family-I should have known that it would have been done with subtlety.. and it was….
    Good on them…and the Tebows…
    C-CS

  12. Is this the original version?

My wife swears she read or saw another version that was more controversial.

Watch and shudder at the hideous violence that Tebow visits upon his mother and all mothers!

  15. Hilarious! Bet NOW and Planned Parenthood are fuming they were outmanuvered. They caterwaled all week to diminish what they THOUGHT was going to show, and by that, got the rest of the background story out that goes with the ads … for FREE, while totally exposing themselves to be nasty rigid ideologues who can’t tolerate free speech.

  16. Hee, hee. Now, who’s stupid? Huh?

  17. My folks call me their miracle baby also.
Considering that I almost died at 1 year of age.
    (56.5 years ago.)

What do you have to say about that, Planned Parenthood? Or any loose-lipped Leftie?

  18. What a sweet story of courage and love.

  19. Ok you got me. I’m a tree hugging pro choice liberal. For once you did something discreet, tasteful and non-condescending. Nice job. I don’t agree with your message but this was a lot less offensive than it could have been

  20. Far-left groups were up in arms about the ad, AND THEY HADN’T EVEN SEEN IT!!! Oops. They deserve all the egg on their faces.

    Pathetic…

  21. “Less offensive”? What’s offensive? If pro-choicers hadn’t told no one would have associated it with abortion. It could have been an ad abut a whole host of medical/family problems. She showed a picture of him as a toddler, after all.
Thanks to the heavy-handed condescension of pro-choicers and their brilliant leader, Obama, in just one year the majority of Americans now call themselves pr-life.
If the nasty reaction to the Tebow ad is an example of what choicers call intelligent, bring it on!

  22. The cream of the joke is that people would not be much aware of this commercial or pay much attention to it if the left hadn’t made such a fuss about it. Such is the way of life though. Make a fuss about a subject and people will fall all over themselves to see what the controversy was all about.

    offensive to whom, you??

you got to live, now go get a life!!

  24. The lefties are angry because Tim’s mom made a choice not to have an abortion. They can all EAD.

scroll down a bit, click on side arrow until you see Tim
Tebow Pro-Life Superbowl Ad pop up & click on it..

you have to listen to their conversation, talk
about projections, this may take the cake..

btw, i didn’t see all the ads, not sure i want to..

(dang, it keeps coming & going, give it a few
tries before giving up, or try again later..)

  26. Well said and done Mr. Hoft.

We all had the same reaction about seeing the ad during the Super Bowl.

This was a positive, pleasant, non-confrontational, inspiring, expression for all.

Nothing to fear, and everything to smile at, or even to ignore if one so wished.

Freedom of speech yes, and an attractive spot about a fine Family, inviting some to see their beliefs.

No big deal, and something that makes the Democrats look even more absurd.

The reality is, few realize how radical and misguided the Democratic Party has become.

  27. This is one of the reasons I fled the democratic party many years ago.

  28. Focus on the Family definitely snookered the left and their abortioncheerleader and free speech censoring legions of totalitarians.
Libturds are like cats. They lick themselves with their tongues. Way to Go Gloria!!

  29. Here’s an unintelligent pro-life commercial made by ALL with 6 Giants:
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=wShTRUGdGAA

Susan Swift has some fab ideas for intelligent ads:

Any feedback from the two athletes that were made foolish by Planned Parenthood? Maybe their next commerical will be for Focus on the Family on the subject of Planned Parenthood’s role in black genocide.
