That Was Quick… Democrats Use Murtha's Death to Push for Obamacare (Video)

That didn’t take long… Antiwar democrat John Murtha passed away just a few hours ago and already democratic politicians were using his death to push their radical agenda. Democrats are already casting Murtha as a martyr in their push to nationalize the nation’s health care industry.
Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) used Murtha’s death to push for Obamacare on Cavutotoday.
Of course, this is the first time democrats have used a politician’s death to push their radical agenda. Democrats also used kids as props to push for Obamacare at Teddy Kennedy’s funeral.

The advantage to being a democrat is that you can say any damn thing and the lap dog media will never fact check it. Ironically, had Murtha, at his age, been an ordinary schlub citizen, he would probably be alive today under Obamacare. He wouldn’t have been permitted to have had the surgery in the first place.

In 1951, my grandfather died exactly the same way. In 2004, my mother died of a massive infection spread from her diseased gall bladder. This mortality is not uncommon.

After they used the death of Ted Kennedy to push Obamacare, what did they end with? That’s right: a Republican in “his” seat. And no Obamacare Law! (Thankfully!)

What makes them think that the death of a Congresscritter will persuade anyone to change their minds about it? Not to mention that he died at Bethesda Naval Hospital – which represents the closest thing to “nationalized health care” for the military.

I want to remind you of the scariest words in Washington – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. If that name still causes you to squirm, get angry and grind your teeth, then keep reading.
Like you, I’m tired of waking up every day to see Nancy Pelosi and her cronies work to fulfill the agenda of Barack Obama without regard for how it chips away at our national sovereignty, undermines our national economy and mortgages our children’s future. As a father, I’m worried about how their actions will impact my daughter, your children and future generations of Americans.
My concerns for our nation’s welfare are not strictly based on my affiliation with the Republican Party, but as a father, small business owner and patriotic American. I’m concerned that we continue to lose our rights and liberties daily as Washington politicians, led by Speaker Pelosi, want to force us to submit to socialism.
I’m a proud American who wants our nation to succeed in the vision of our Founding Fathers and refuses to see it continue down this wayward course of a death spiral.

You may think that a campaign of this nature is a lofty, unrealistic goal, but I believe that during these difficult economic times, the people of California’s 8th Congressional District deserve a Congressman who will represent their interests and that of America. In fact, I’m so confident that I can win this race for several reasons, that I’ve seeded the campaign with my hard-earned savings before I asked anyone for a dollar.
Just a few weeks ago, Nancy Pelosi was quoted in the venerable, inside-the-beltway newspaper, The Hill, stating, “I’m in campaign mode.”
Well, I can’t imagine why any Member of Congress, let alone the Speaker of the House would feel the need to boast about being in campaign mode, unless we were giving her a reason to worry. I think the people of the 8th District are starting to feel like the rest of my campaign team and America—it’s time for Nancy to RETIRE!
After all, millions of patriotic Americans have refused to remain quite while Pelosi’s Congress files bill after bill seeking to strip us of our individual liberties. Fortunately, there are still some of us who know what individual liberty, limited government, and the free markets mean to the success of this great Republic.

Nancy Pelosi rams health care “reform” legislation down our throats that will only worsen a problem and increase healthcare rationing, with a projection of costs that grows exponentially on a daily basis. The problem was first, CAUSED by the government, and will NEVER be solved by the government.
In spite of all of the bad news, I see signs of hope.
Activism and peaceful protests against all of the Federal government’s shenanigans are increasing. We must use this energy to beat back Nancy Pelosi and force her into retirement..
My lifelong experiences in life, international business, and civic involvement have prepared me to go to Washington and unwind that mess. I’ve already spent time meeting with international businessman, leaders and understand the global impact we have on other nations.

Let’s see here. They are pushing for Obamacare after the death of Congressman Murtha. So what they want everyone to have is the same service that ended up killing Congressman Murtha. He had Surgery at Bethesda Medical center, a government run hospital. Knowing what I know about the Military hospital system it really doesn’t surprise me that this has happened. Just think of this as they try to socialize all hospitals and make them the same. If it was good enough for Congressman Murtha, Granny, its good enough for you.

There are hundreds of articles about John Murtha. Some are trying to find positive things to say about a mean, arrogant, corrupt, anti-troop, liar who did his level best to steal our money and force us into a system where we would never be free. Here is my response at Hotair-
So you have to die to suddenly be forgiven? He doesn’t deserve it. Death does not make him less corrupt, less wrong, less horrible a politician. It is sad he died the way he did, subject to the errors of government provided healthcare, but in a way it does drip of irony.
Here’s the question. If they killed him, can his family sue the government? Can anyone? Which is one reason why the universal healthcare he wanted to foist upon us was a bad idea.
Notice when he was crashing he didn’t go back to a government run facility, but to a private one. A choice he would have taken from you.
Sorry, no sympathy. None for his family who spent that bad money for years without guilt and gained a comfortable living and life from it.

Let me be clear, I was against the war and tort reform from the start. I agree with Steve Cohen that the Democratic Party should be paid malpractice damages for John Murtha’s perforated bowel.

John Murtha and Ted Kennedy had a lot in common. They both had a lot of gall and probably a lot of bile…more than most… sky high cholesterol and BMI that would match Michael Moore! I just think it’d be ironic if this was what pushed “Health Care” reform over the edge to get passed, as from my understanding a good portion of the bill has absolutely nothing to do with actual health care but everything to do with health insurance. Even with the “Health Care” reform bill in place, wouldn’t the same thing have possibly happened? Since we’re not changing the fundamental concerns with actual health care?
