Senator Jay Rockefeller (Dem- West Virginia) told a committee hearing today that Barack Obama is “beginning to be unbelievable” to him.

I am originally from SE Illinois. People had great Union Coal Mine jobs until George H Bush ruined the coal industry because of the coal’s high sulfur content.

Obama will TALK for coal and oil… but he will ACT only against them.

Anything he says simply can not be trusted.

What America REALLY needs to focus on is DOMESTIC sourcing, of energy and of everything else possible. There nothing of greater importance to the economic survival of the nation.

We simply can not afford to send our money overseas for goods and expect to pay for it with debt. Mortgage-backed securities are NOT a product.

I recall reading pieces in the late 80s and early 90s about how our shift to service industries from producers of tangibles would one day bite us in the butt. It looks like that day has come.

It’s not just mortgage-backed securities; almost all of our industries are service industries and therefore can not be exported. At the same time, we’re importing almost all of our tangibles. Talk about “unsustainable.”

We’ve got to start producing tangibles in the US again and buying products produced in the US. That’ll mean paying more for products but that’s better than continuing down the path we’re on now.

Let me be clear, I am not a liar or a double dealing cheater when it comes to coal legislation. I am for clean coal as long as we Take All of the Carbon Out of it. Until that happens I will simply strike coal from the legislation at the 11th hour.

Look, China is building new coal power plants every week. Why can’t the Jay Rockefeller and his crappy coal workers just ship their coal to China?

As a Senator from the coal state of Illinois I sold the taxpayers down the river and blocked coal as power source and a source of jobs. Sure, I was called a Traitor but, that is nothing compared to money Al Gore and I will make with my Global Warming scam.

I am committed to clean energy. My limousine is being re-fueled with 200 gallons of high octane gasoline and I have agreed to buy the necessary carbon credits from Al Gore with the Taxpayer’s money. I may appear self-serving and unbelievable but, the kick-backs from the scam will make me very rich. That’s my overall policy.

Jay Rockefeller and his crappy coal workers can go suck an egg. I must look busy. Good day.
