Pelosi Tells Reporters She Runs "Most Ethical Congress in History" (Video)

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) insisted on Friday that she is running the most ethical and honest Congress in history. At the same time, however, she indicated she will not ask House Ways and Means Chairman Charles Rangel (D.-N.Y.) to resign his chairmanship—at least for now. Democrook Charlie Rangel was found guilty of ethics violations yesterday. But, at least he wasn’t caught stashing $90,000 of cold hard cash in his freezer like crooked democrat William Jefferson who was recently sent to the slammer for 13 years.

I understand politics and politicians of both parties needing to put the best face on a difficult or embarrassing situation that arises. However, outright making comments so laughably and demonstrably false like she does on a regular basis, including this “most ethical Congress in history” comment, takes a special piece of human debris. If Palin is an idiot, what exactly is Pelosi anyway? Sub-idiot?

But, did you hear her reason for not asking the unscrupulous lout to resign?? She suggested that what he did didn’t put the country in any sort of danger, so now she’s raising the ethics bar to it’s very highest level.
What she’s saying is “No blood; No foul”. In order for her to punish unethical behavior, she has now sent a very nasty precedent.
Based on her reasoning, few, if any, congresscritters will ever suffer a penalty other than an “admonishment”.
She needs to be GONE from her lofty position as Speaker of the House ASAP.

Let’s face it – how can Pelosi punish anyone for ethics violations when she is one of the biggest perpetrators. She knows full well Obama isn’t eligible to hold Office according to the Constitution of the United States, and she is going to go down with Obama in the matter. A POTUS must be natural born with TWO U.S. citizen parents, not just ONE. This is so obvious, it defies any sense of logic to even request a long form birth certificate, when it is known by all that Obama Sr., Barack’s father was not a U.S. citizen, but a British subject at the time of Obama Jr.’s birth.

Betty Jefferson and her daughter Angela Coleman admitted Thursday they used political offices and nonprofit groups they controlled to enrich themselves over the course of seven years.
The deal worked out with federal prosecutors allows Jefferson, a 70-year-old New Orleans assessor, and her 53-year-old daughter to avoid a trial that would have started next month.
In a separate case, William Jefferson is out on bond appealing a 13-year federal prison sentence for using his influence to broker business deals in Africa.

Actually, the county that hath spawned Pelosi is pretty much a Commie County … the libs that skulk around up there (and there is a small conservative demographic up there; including a Tea Party effort <– pray for them) are the kind of despicable human beings who conceived of that bastion of anti-Americanism – the code pinkos…it's pretty swarmy up there.

Wonder what would happen if normal citizens made a few of these honest mistakes?
All comes down to the insulation that these folks get as members of Congress. Original intent was, I believe to shield them from nuisance stuff, not to shield them from legitimate prosecutions.
Having said that, Nancy is a disgrace for not standing up for true ethics in office instead of her unprincipled no ethics stand.
