NAACP to Honor "American Treasure" Commie Van Jones With Image Award (Video)

The National Association for the Advancement of Liberal Colored People will honor self proclaimed communist, Truther and former Green Czar Van Jones.

CNN reported:
Washington (CNN) — While Van Jones may have left the White House under a cloud, the NAACP says that’s not his whole story.
The group considers him a pioneering hero for the environment and civil rights — so much so that it is awarding him one of its highest honors Friday: an NAACP Image Award. It’s a move that is just becoming public now, which is sure to stoke the fire from Jones critics.
The Obama administration’s “green czar” helped coordinate government agencies focused on delivering millions of green jobs to the ailing U.S. economy.
Jones said he was the victim of a “vicious smear campaign” based on “lies and distortions.”Benjamin Jealous, NAACP president and CEO, said he’s not concerned about criticism the NAACP might face over honoring the controversial Jones.
“We care about getting the best ideas, the best minds and Van is one of them,” Jealous said. “What should be controversial is we pushed one of the greatest minds to the side in this country when we needed him most.”
In an opinion piece on CNN.com, Jealous calls Jones “an American treasure,” and says he might be “the most misunderstood man in America.”
Of course, this surprises no one.
Maybe it was because Van Jones called Republicans a$$holes? Maybe it’s because he said Bush sounded like a crackhead? Maybe it’s because he lashed out at white polluters? Or maybe it’s just because he’s a truther. Whatever the reason it will be a special moment for the commie-truther and his NAACP supporters.
If they’re looking for music for the event they can always play his hate-filled album with cop killer Mumia al-Jamal during the ceremony.

I was chatting with a golfing buddy – who just happens to be black – and asked him what he thought about this honor from the NAACP. He cracked up laughing.

We both cracked up laughing.
I don’t think Jones has the universal black support he thinks he has….at least not in my neighborhood.

Here’s a guess on my part:
This “stellar event” will be broadcast live on B.E.T. to absolutely rave instant live-on-the-web reviews in the media and then either as part of his keynote speech at the event, or within a day or two later, Mr. Jones will announce his candidacy for Congressional office in a completely blue district.
Nobody will care he was in prison or for what. Nobody will care about anything other than “change”.

Certain politicians in Germany and Austria call muslim immigrants, who in general achieve nothing, work little and are instrumental for the left wing plan of destroying our societies, families and cultures and help increasing our crime rates, our “treasures”.
I guess it would be fair now for Germany to make Erich Honecker a treasure and for Austria to make Hitler or Engelbert Dollfuss a treasure. Or should we just settle with Eichmann?

The NAASCP is nothing but a joke, marginalized years ago. At last look they had about 100,000-150,000 or so members, a pretty sorry showing given the overall population of Blacks (and others “of color”) in this country.
I say Blacks because lets be honest, they only care about Blacks and selected ones at that.
