Conservative radio host and author Mark Levin believes Barack Obama is the biggest disaster in modern American history:
Even Jimmy Carter is distancing himself from the current president. He doesn’t want to be compared to Barack Obama either.
Business and Media Institute reported:
At last there appears to be a president worse than Jimmy Carter – at least according to conservative talk show host Mark Levin.
That was the question host Don Imus asked Levin Feb. 18 on the Fox Business Network’s “Imus in the Morning.” “So the President Obama, worse than Jimmy Carter?”
“Worse than Jimmy Carter? I mean they’re not mutually exclusive, they’re both disasters,” Levin replied, citing many of the parallels of the two administrations.
But on the home front, Levin said Obama was beyond comparison: “I think on domestic policy, nobody comes close to Barack Obama. I think he’s the biggest disaster in modern American history.”
That led the duo to discuss the $787 billion stimulus bill, that turned 1-year-old Feb. 17. “Regarding the stimulus package, the president says that that kept us from sliding into Depression,” Imus noted.
Levin claimed concerns about a Depression were false, and that Obama was harming America’s economy with government intrusion – choking out the private sector. “You know, this is what you do when you’re desperate, and you’re a radical propagandist,” Mark Levin said.
“This is a very vicious recession and we would have been out of by now if he wasn’t smothering the private sector, threatening to tax them, nationalizing major industries, government doesn’t spread wealth, it destroys wealth and it spreads misery. Now we’ve had trillions of dollars spent in the last 13-14 months…trillions…following this failed ideology. We still have almost 10 percent unemployment, still foreclosures, soon the fed is going to back off pumping money into the housing market, interest rates are going to go up…” Levin continued, not buying the merits of the stimulus.
Then came the harshest remarks from the politically incorrect commentator about the perceived socialist ideology of the president:
“This philosophy that Obama embraces has failed whenever it’s tried, wherever it’s tried. And you notice they always try to say the same thing – ‘we haven’t gone far enough,’ ‘we need more money,’ ‘we need more government,’ and then they pick enemies – this industry, that industry – it’s because they’re failures. And this is how they continue to push their propaganda. We weren’t sliding into a great Depression, so now he’s rewriting history.”
With Obama’s track record so far on spending and unemployment, it’s hard to argue with Levin.

The sad truth is, Obama is on a course to become the worst president in US history–period–not just modern US history. He might just overtake the late, unlamented James Buchanan for that “honor”.
Chris Vehr commented:
Anyone who voted for Obama has a hand in these failures. The man offered zero experience, has a hidden past, and associates with people who wish harm on America. Why couldn’t they see this?
Mikey commented:
As always, Levin is 100% correct. Because of this clown, Obama, the USA is in serious trouble. Personally, I can attest to the job killing policies. I haven’t worked since before the one was elected. Great job Democrats.
kate commented:
People voted for Obama because very few–repeat very few–Americans are serious about this country. If Republicans were serious, we wouldn’t have been saddled with McCain. If we had a decent candidate, that would have given voters on the fence a choice. People voted for Obama because they didn’t know the truth and couldn’t be bothered to investigate for themselves. He seemed nice, who isn’t for hope and change after all the bad bad things said about President Bush. He is black (blackish), oh finally we can throw off the weight of all this racial stuff. It’s all good, everything is in the plus column–if you give it under 5 minutes of consideration. Once you get to the 6 minute mark, you start to figure the skunk out.
But devoting 6 minutes of thought to insure the continuation of freedom and democracy is too much an investment in time and effort for most people.
Maybe this will wake us from our stupor.
Mark was on fire last night. He’s a blessing.

Mark Levin is one of the most astute and insightful political commentators in broadcasting today. He and Rush are the clarion call to all good Americans. Just remember, “United we stand. Divided we fall.” Hussein and his thugs are trying to split us. We must act decisively today to counteract these actions to destroy America.

I was just thinking about this very thing on the way home from dropping my children off at school.
Obama is the ‘inconvenient truth’ of the unfortunated condition of ignorance of the American dissenters. He lies as much as the ‘inventor of the internet”, the “temperature-taker of Earth”.
He is unequivocally the WORST man to ever be elected, which automatically qualifies him as the worst president ever. History will not be kind to Barry Soetoro because of his lying forked tongue and hell-bent intent on destroying a country that he is not native to or a part of.
He makes me physically ill to look at.

Flyover Sam commented:
Levin fails to understand: Obama’s seizure of the private sector is a necessary step. Who ever said it’s about regrowing a private economy? I’ve heard “jobs jobs jobs!” and both Barack and Michelle explaining that things are going to be very different. Barack’s repeatedly made it clear to the nation that the nation will be re-made. Let me quote Obama’s playbook to make this clear:
“No revolt can bring about socialism unless the economic conditions for socialism are ripe. State-monopoly capitalism is a complete material preparation for socialism; the threshold of socialism, a rung on the ladder of history between which and the rung called socialism there are no intermediate rungs.”

No one in conservative talk radio, or TV for that matter, is more accurate and more truthful than Mark Levin. He does not do what he does for the glory of himself. He does it for love of country. I believe that 100%. He has no “gold” membership to sacred areas on his website, his podcasts are free. Above all others, I have huge admiration for Mark and what he has taught me, what he has shown me. He is extremely intelligent and a great teacher of history. What he says about Obama is correct, and any American that loves freedom that voted for Obama made the biggest mistake of their lives.
Auntie Em, I am with you. I have such a visceral hatred whenever I see Obama’s face, or hear his voice. It’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced.
Floradora commented:
Flyover Sam, I don’t know if you ever listen to Mark’s show, but he is fully aware that Obama is doing this on purpose, and that destruction of the private sector is a necessary step in achieving his Marxist hell. He makes the point repeatedly.
Ginger commented:
He has got where he is because all he knows is cheating, lieing, and strong arming. MONEY! Mostly Saudi and forien money bought the fraud the job he now carries. Remember the “Race” cards was played constantly? He did not want to be president to protect and defend us! His hidden purpose is to destroy us.
He needs to go and all his little abeters.
Ginger commented:
BTW…. The next president will have the right to BLAME things on this fraud pretending to be president.
Flyover Sam commented:
Floradora, I do listen to Levin’s show and you’re absolutely right that he’s aware. The snark came out early this morning. The curious thing for me has been evaluating which communist model Obama’s implementing and which schools of thought he’s integrating. Beck overreacted to the Maoist influence in many of Obama’s administration, as he also does about Che — I see that as predominantly an inspirational reference for the White House. Sort of like putting up the Lady Gaga poster on the wall for a revolutionary communist: Che and Mao are pop figures in that respect.
But Obama faces very different conditions eliminating a relatively successful capitalist state. He entered office in the manner akin to the Octobrists-Cadets after the first 1917 revolution and has that capitalist heritage given his statist-capitalist backing by Soros, Peter Lewis, Andy Stern, etc. However, it does seem that he intends to out-left them as did Lenin and bring in second revolution.
The nation’s not quite ready: an insufficient proportion of the economy is not state controlled. The unions have not pushed out sufficient control of the proletariat yet and realistically, Obama needs to ride this great recession out a few more years where things are bad enough that he can continue to execute on those goals. Energy sector takeover via cap & trade, medical/insurance, financial, major industrial (cap and trade as well as through outright state acquisition when the economy sinks those “too big to fail”). By 2012 we should have more than half of the economy controlled by the state and the unions positioned to utilize their lever.
Odd are positive that he’ll get there; chaos, war, uncertainty only increases that, and as long as the opposition consists of Captain Qweeg McCains and Nancy Grahams, nobody has a chance at stopping him. Most capitalists will sell out for safe cover of the state rather than face annihilation and economic destruction.
Jerry M commented:
The disaster that is the Obama presidency was entirely predictable to anyone who bothered to do their homework on him before the election. For those who didn’t know better, we can blame the corrupt MSM which became a propaganda arm of his campaign and did everything possible to ignore or cover up his far left radical ideology. Conservatives and thinking Americans across this country should cancel subscriptions to MSM media and severely punish them economically for their role in the damage being done by Obama and his cronies.

I CANNOT WAIT for the next president, undoubtedly a Republican, to do this! I hope to hear “…because of the failures of the last four years” and “…what we inherited after the last four years” EARLY and OFTEN.
Gotta come up with REAL solutions, though, or you’ll sound just like little Barry.
Flyover Sam commented:
And per any criticism of Levin, I believe he’s misguided in treating Obama as a failure (as does Rush, Beck, etc.). Obama’s a brilliant success, if you understand the objective. Carter was incompetent but probably well-intentioned.
Significant state control and several other conditions in development are prerequisites for the Second American Revolution underway. That Obama’s sufficiently placated the institution through bogus stimulus efforts (which fail to spend and stimulate), distracting it while expanding state control step by step, suggests he’s a remarkable success. He’s just pursuing a different outcome, and as long as his opponents view him incorrectly (e.g. as an idiot, failure, fool, incompetent), they will fail just as Lenin’s opponents did.

Kate/#4 .. ‘Mark is a blessing’.. couldn’t agree more… wish he were going to the Blair House stunt tomorrow…wish too that Mark would explore ways to reach our new & young voters… they know something’s very wrong with POTUS and his warped policies… it would be great if he’d harness his considerable media power to address their concerns & bring them into the conversation re: midterm elections & choices they’ll be making when they vote…
meanwhile, Obama’s just the worst evah.

pamlinson/#23.. it indeed injures the very liberty we seek, to have these men, collectively, I hope, of single purpose, biting at each other’s ankles too much.. each, I think, holds keys to our resurrection of freedom.. I liken them to the piano I play.. Beck (who I love) as well as Mark & Rush, play a common song, each a true freedom fighter, interpreting the tune in light of their own passion and perspectives. Their tune’s allure grows when, staying true to themselves, they punctuate their performance with their own signature. Meanwhile, they need to keep in mind that I,the listener, have the capacity to assess their tune’s play without too strident or constant criticism from any one of them of the other’s.

I believe in years to come that we will view the Obama presidency as a necessary evil. Had McCain won (and I voted for him), it would have been his swan song. And there is no telling just how far he would have gone to be “bipartisan”.
It also would have allowed Pelosi and crew to continue their phony war against a “third term” of the Bush administration.

Obama’s New Investment Tax
[The White House's new health-care proposal promises the "largest middle class tax cut for health care in history," which is a creative way of describing a vast taxpayer-subsidized insurance entitlement. Naturally, the fine print goes on to describe one of the largest tax increases for health care in history, too.]

Levin said he was a *disaster*, not a failure, and he’s correct.
At least he wasn’t trashing Beck again. I rarely catch any of Beck’s show or radio broadcast, so I don’t actually know what Levin’s beef is. I only know that Beck is admired by a lot of so-called Conservatives, so Levin’s amateurish, “insulting upward” crap makes him look silly. It always makes me turn his show off, and the interval between listenings grows longer each time.

Bravo! I keep trying to tell people this.
Obama’s *only* a failure if you assume that he’s trying (as a real American president would) to get America out of this recession and back on track to prosperity and strength. And that’s a false and dangerous assumption.
As someone who is trying to bring America low and turn it into another socialist/communist “utopia”, he’s doing remarkably well.
Too many people don’t/won’t really look at what he’s doing and what his end game is. I suppose that it’s hard for most people to believe that someone who actively hates America is living in our white house.
They’d better wake up soon, though.
