The Party of No – No More
Republicans finally got to present their plan to America and America liked what they saw. This dog and pony show was a huge mistake for Obama and his cronies. Republicans came to the meeting with an alternative plan that made sense. Democrats were just there for the show, and they showed that they were angry, immature, impatient, intolerant, manipulative and rude.
From The Republican Whip Blog:
David Gergen spoke on CNN’s “Situation Room” about how Congressional Republicans fared in President Obama’s health care summit, saying, “Intellectually, Republicans had the best day they’ve had in years.”

A very good summit for GOP.
Obama is just a snotty, arrogant guy.
Male Silverback commented:
Oh boy, there is blood in the water.
One thing I am really glad to see is that the GOP is getting credit for having an idea. Seems like more often than not that the left commentators are saying that the GOP has presented nothing when actually they have.

Uhh, Jim, old friend, when have the Democrats been anything other than angry, immature, impatient, intolerant, manipulative and rude?
Dell commented:
The “Party of No” is now the “Party of Know”…and anyone with half-a-brain or better understands that fact today.
When it comes to fundamentally changing my country to a Socialist State, “No” is a perfectly good answer. When it comes to spending billions more of the dollars we don’t have, “No” is a perfectly good answer. What part of “No” don’t you understand?
Perhaps you will develop a better understanding in November.

The Narcissist in Chief believed his own rhetoric. He thought that he and his Democratic Colleagues where going to show that the propaganda that they and the MSM have been spreading was true.
They expected to rattle the Republicans. They expected the Republicans to not be able to articulate their ideas. The President was condescending, smug, and absolutely showed America that the Democrats are the unreasonable ones. They are the party of no. No to all ideas that the Republicans have. Republican Party has ideas that are based on the Free Market not a government takeover.
The American public gets it. They saw this for what it was a box checked before the Democrats ignore the Republican’s ideas and pass the Health Care Bill, they and only they, not the American public, want.
We are witnessing the death of Liberalism right before our eyes. What will be interesting to see what damage it will do to our Republic!
God save our wonderful country.
AuntieMadder commented:
Dell, sometimes “no” is the right answer. When dealing with the Party of Brats, there’s nothing wrong with being the Party of No.

And that was just in about 1 hour in a six-hour summit.
From Rep Steve King in the House last night:
Repubs were interupted 50 times, Democrats only 20 times. Out of the 6 hour summit the Republicans only had 1 hour (a little more or less).

Did you notice that Barry kept his hand to his face most of the time? At first Barry and Biden were sitting there with their hand to their face with their elbows to the table while the republicans were speaking. Looking bored? I took it as rudeness!
I also noticed the two fingers sticking up beside the face! Maybe me, but we know Barry/Steve likes to give the middle finger and I took it that way. What other reason would Barry constantly hold his head up with his hand with two finger up?
vharlow commented:
Donna Brazile over on Twitter is already claiming that Republicans recommended many of the things in the bill, insinuating that it’s already a bipartisan thing! Geez, how they do twist.

i always wondered about the middle finger routine and finally found a picture of obama
with his index finger resting on his face and the
middle no where in sight.

I couldn’t watch it all the way. It’s hard to watch obama and his arrogance, it’s best to just ignore people like that.
His favorite expression “I won, you lost” “because I’m the president”. In his on mind he is the dictator, the supreme leader like hugo chavez.
Great leaders are the ones that don’t have to pull rank to get things done.
Betsy Ross commented:
barry came out of the so-called summit looking every bit a bullying, moderating, two-bit dictator-wannabe. He chose the wrong country to be King of….

This video is hilarious. Do you notice the other CNN commentators just sitting there dumbfounded? Er. Uh, oh. Blitzer could not WAIT to change the subject. Ha ha ha ha ha!
Militant Conservative commented:
Barry is like the cowboys in the movies. He is shooting blanks, lots of noise and smoke but no substantial results. He likes to hear himself pontificate but has no ideas of merit or substance.

Reminds me of an old Andy Griffith episode. Where Aunt Bea ran against Howard Sprague for city council. Bea just ekpt spouting the whatever the people want si what I stand for line. howard would then start in with facts and figures and before long it was obvious who had the goods and who was just bluster.
The Dems are the Aunt Bea party here.

Americans who had the opportunity to watch saw for themselves who spoke with facts and who read letters and could form their own opinions v. the typical filtered “news” 30 sec sound bites.
I was glad to see Paul Ryan speak to the restrictions the CBO faces, they have to score bills on the assumptions given, not score it on what they think the most likely outcome is…10 years of revenue and 6 years of spending, that’s faulty accting, if any public traded company tried that, they would be destroyed. The “media” and Dems always filter that and say, the bill reduces the deficit in the first decade…get real, Americans who are paying attention see right through this.
What’s really sad is so many are not paying attention to this but hear the 30 sec sound bites, instead many are experts in pop culture “news”…that is what we face, millions are still asleep, we must continue to educate as many as we can.
sandy commented:
Why I find amazing is that at the end of the bi-partisan summit Obama threatened the Republicans. Between the threats and Boris Karloff stares — Obama is about as Presidential as a schoolyard bully.
sean252 commented:
If the ‘LAMESTREAM ” media played the tape of Paul Ryan only, you would get a awesome fiscal lesson.
There is no way any civil American could support the Dems after listening to ‘FACTS” that Paul Ryan presented in ENGLISH!!
Maybe the illegals wouldnt get it? OH YA THAT IS 50% OF THE CAUSE OF THE COST!!
pm commented:
Thanks, Barry. This little game you wanted to play came back and bit you in the rear. Good.
You tried your best to paint the other side with your lies – silence the other side with your newfound power – but they, in the abbreviated time they were given, showed America they’ve got the ideas and the heart you and your team will never have.
They didn’t “even the score” as Gergen put it, they pounded you so hard you’ll be lucky to fight another day.

From what I saw, yesterday was a long time in coming success for Republicans.. whether anyone was awake to see it.. that’s a different story..
Paul Ryan was on fire.. a compelling everyman, normal, nimble and armed to the teeth with knowledge and eager to show it. .. he was the perfect GOP foil to the Dims’ wagonering ‘bring in your dead’ tales & more importantly, He Owned Obama.. priceless..(could see it in that body language..eyes fixed, leaning in, chin down).. facts, figures, We the People, limited government, Law of the Land.. Ryan hit it over the wall.. he’s a force to be reckoned with and Obie knows it.(.he left no doubt what his plans are for us, that arrogant child-king)..Obama vs. the American People..bring it on.. hell, I’m glad Ryan’s on our side.
