Figures. Washington Post Defends Global Warming Junk Science Even After Top Scientist Admits Fraud

This past weekend top global warming expert Professor Phil Jones, the former director of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU), admitted that global warming was a fraud. He admitted:
* Data for vital ‘hockey stick graph’ had gone missing
* There had been no global warming since 1995
* Warming periods have happened before – but NOT due to man-made changes
* There was a tendency in the IPCC reports to leave out inconvenient findings, especially in the parts most likely to be read by policy makers.
Jones admitted this weekend that there has been no significant global warming in the last 15 years. The CPU fraudsters bilked the EU and US for £800,000 ($1,253,624.84) annually for the last 20 years.
But, this admission did not stop the Washington Post from publishing another junk science fluff piece today. The WaPo admitted that “a series of missteps” had taken place but did not report that the top scientist just admitted that there was no warming since 1995.
With its 2007 report declaring that the “warming of the climate system is unequivocal,” the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change won a Nobel Prize — and a new degree of public trust in the controversial science of global warming.
But recent revelations about flaws in that seminal report, ranging from typos in key dates to sloppy sourcing, are undermining confidence not only in the panel’s work but also in projections about climate change. Scientists who have pointed out problems in the report say the panel’s methods and mistakes — including admitting Saturday that it had overstated how much of the Netherlands was below sea level — give doubters an opening.
It wasn’t the first one. There is still a scientific consensus that humans are causing climate change. But in the past year, a cache of stolen e-mails, revealing that prominent climate scientists sought to prevent the publication of works by their detractors, has sullied their image as impartial academics.

We have watched Democratic Partisans lie about the most insane stuff, when the lie is obvious.
For some reason FOX News Sunday had Ceci Connolly on for a Panel discussion, and of course she simply pushed a little alteration on the same folly.
Not only did she offer a tired old shuffle, Ceci also inserted Biden’s vapid claims about ‘waging the GWOT better than the Bush Administration’ citing the whopping 12 Al Qaeda Members killed.
Of course, the Obama Administration is just using established Bush Policy, Personnel, Structure, Strategy, Tactics, etc.
The entire Democratic Party is a joke, you cannot believe a word of the garbage, especially their enablers in the Media.

Opus #6: I have instructed my 14 year old that if any of his teachers even mention the phrase “Global Warming” he is to report to me immediately. Even a liberal arts major non-scientist like me had enough information to debate your basic public school teacher.

Ha! What a laugh! How on earth does the Washington Post know there’s still a “scientific consensus” on climate change (assuming there ever was one)? Did they interview thousands of scientists, say, today?
Heck, did they even read the BBC’s interview of the #1 global warming propagandist, Phil Jones, from 2 days ago? I.e., the interview that contained the following revealing exchange:
BBC: When scientists say “the debate on climate change is over”, what exactly do they mean – and what don’t they mean?
Jones: It would be supposition on my behalf to know whether all scientists who say the debate is over are saying that for the same reason. I don’t believe the vast majority of climate scientists think this. This is not my view. There is still much that needs to be undertaken to reduce uncertainties, not just for the future, but for the instrumental (and especially the palaeoclimatic) past as well.

You guys don’t get it! Fraud by a socialist is a normal state of affairs and at worst seen as “a series of missteps”. First they make big problems into small problems and then they wipe small problems off the table: problem solved and now doesn’t exist any more.

keep trying to spin it mainstream media. Once a part of the global warming data has proven to have been “cooked” the whole data is considered unreliable.
Lets see if this “cap and trade” gets passed after all these disclosures.

Another denier story that is completely false with a complete misinterpretation of the facts, not to mention clearly not understanding the science behind global warming. This kind of story always generates headlines and gets the deniers all riled up into a frenzy “See See its not true. Global warming isnt real.”
Some people will believe what they choose to believe regardless of the facts. In the end, the facts of anthropogenic global warming are undeniable and will catch up with us. Then what will you say?

(a) the earth may have been WARMER during the Medieval Warming Period than it is today;
(b) he has LOST the data supposedly supporting the infamous hockey-stick graph;
(c) there’s been NO statistically significant increase in earth temperatures since 1995; and
(d) the earth’s temperature has actually been DECREASING by 0.12 degrees Celsius a year since 2002;
and YOU say, “Uh, no problem! The science behind global warming is, uh, still good!”
