When Dick Cheney speaks, the White House listens.
Let them dwell on this for the next couple of days.
Cheney says the radical Barack Obama will last only one term.

The Hill reported:

President Barack Obama will be a one-term president, former Vice President Dick Cheney confidently predicted Thursday.

During a surprise appearance at the end of his daughter Liz’s speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, the former vice president said Republicans would have a “phenomenal year” with the midterm elections, and said Obama would be defeated in 2012.

“I think 2010 is going to be a phenomenal year for the conservative cause,” Cheney said to raucous applause from the conservative audience. “And I think that Barack Obama is a one-term president.”

Cheney had been a featured speaker at the conference during his time in office, and has since cast himself as a top Republican critic of the administration succeeding his.

The former VP did much to bolster his daughter’s own profile, too, referring to Liz Cheney, who has emerged as a conservative pundit over the past few years, as part of a “younger generation” within the conservative movement.

  9. Mr. Cheney, we’ll all be lucky if America lasts one whole Obama term.

  10. Hmmmm, it’s clear that Obama is trying to catch Bin Laden. If he does, he may be a one term president, but he will trump Bush in the history books. You gotta try to imagine what makes Obama tick, it’s all about the legacy.

  11. I’m with you, Taqi… impeach the usurper!

  12. From your lips to God’s ears, Mr. Cheney.

  13. Dick Cheney’s theme song should be: “I Can Dream, Can’t I?” There’s not a Snowball’s Chance in Hell that Cheney is right. But, anyone like Cheney, who can’t catch Osama Bin Laden in seven years, sounds pretty worthless to me.

  14. CJP,

If Cheneys such a dope how do you explain the fact that he won the war in Iraq and prevented another Clinton/democrat style 9/11 attackk for seven years.

OT, but i’m certain Cheney wouldn’t mind.. :-)

    Joe Biden’s Iraq ‘Achievement’

[Mr. Biden, here are the facts. The Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), which former President Bush and Prime Minister Maliki signed, orchestrated the homecoming of U.S. troops. Mr. Obama didn't do it.

The Bush plan called for a phased transition from "more" coalition security operations to "fewer," based on the demonstrated improvement in the capabilities of Iraq's military and police forces. "Rheostat" warfare is the term Gen. David Petraeus used in 2007, after the device that varies the strength of electrical currents. Securing and extending the authority of Iraq's national government was an integral part of the process. Mr. Biden pushed his partition plan and relentlessly opposed the tough decisions and heroic efforts that created the conditions for SOFA.

Victory has a thousand fathers and Mr. Biden is but one of the many phonies. Historians may credit the Obama administration with a degree
of reluctant follow-through on SOFA. But even this is a change from Mr. Obama's own 2008 cut-and-run campaign platform, which, if implemented, would have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.]
