BIG FAIL. One Year Ago Today Stimulus Signed into Law- Since Then US Lost 2.74 Million Jobs

One year ago today Barack Obama promised to create (not save and create) 3,500,000 jobs from the record $747 $862 billion democratic Stimulus Bill.
Of course, the president has frequently altered his message since the bill was signed into law:
President Obama changes course on the stimulus. Where are the jobs?
Oama promised to create 4,000,000 jobs with the $747 Stimulus Bill.
Instead the US has lost over 2,740,000 jobs.

Republican leader John Boehner wrote the obvious today– Taxpayers aren’t getting their money’s worth.
Just 6% of Americans believe the Obama-Pelosi trillion dollar stimulus bill has created jobs.

Well, we’ve learned what not to do to get the economy going. Now the question is, will those in Washington do what’s necessary, or will they be voted out before we get results?
Most Americans know what needs to be done: reduce tax rates, decrease spending, and roll back the stifling regulations that prevent us from being competitive in the world market.

They haven’t even released most of the funding. They want to hold it until spring/summer so that the effect will take place right before the elections.

The intent of the stimulus was a payoff to those who helped get zero “elected”. The true intent is to destroy the economy forcing the dolts out there to beg for the one to fix it. This is how the socialism is going to come in spades. Only thing the zero could not control was the TPM, is is causing a hell of a mess.

Next we’ll be hearing from Tom that the U3 would have been so much worse without the stimulus–despite the fact that with all the talk from Zero that “most of the money” would “go directly to the private sector,” states have merely used it to paper over their budget deficits.
Keep in mind that although state income and sales taxes have cratered, the stimulus bill required the states to keep spending in certain sectors at 2005-2006 levels, when the bubble was at its peak. And those sources of revenue haven’t come back, meaning many states are facing deficits up to 40% of their general revenues.
The only thing the stimulus has done is protect government jobs–the plain and simple fact is that it hasn’t done jack squat for the private sector. A system where the average government worker is making $70,000/yr while the average private sector worker makes $40,000; and where $3 is spent for every $2 that is brought in, is simply not sustainable.

That’s right, Chris! The money they took came with a giant string attached—federal mandates! Of course, the Toms of the world conveniently forgot that some state senates overroad their governors regarding accepting gubmint cash, all for the quick fix. Ooooops!
The Porkulus II, Son of Porkulus, jobs bill, or whatever semantic bs they’re calling this next piece of overspending legislation is sure to work…this time!
Compounding stupidity, like interest on a loan, will reach a critical mass. It’s too bad a lot of innocent people will be devastated.

Sad thing is this was the objective. He IS an idealoge and his goal remains. “Fundamentally remake America”
This is why the TPM and other resistance is so stiff and fired up. WE are not stopping till this president is either removed or impotent. (even then we’re not stopping)

The stimulus did work. 50% of obamas top bundlers now have jobs in the federal gubbamint and w/o stimulus obama could never have done it.

When it comes to discussing the economy, Obama makes Bush sound as eloquent as Cicero. The real problem, however, is that the lie is so big, it’s impossible to craft enough BS to cover it up. Obama and Biden sound pathetic.

(Yes, I broke down and started watching Beck again. And today he drew a chart in which he placed “birthers” in the “fringe element” of both the right and left. According to Beck, I’m a tin-foil hat wearing loony of the fringe element. Yet, I’ve no idea how to even start making a hat of tin foil.)
