It’s not just Scott Brown, his wife Gail also showed a little skin in her youth too.
Gail Brown appeared in “The Girl With the Curious Hand” by Digney Fignus before she became a news anchor.

That’s a headline they would have run along with the video – if it *had* been racy, unflattering or somehow embarrassing to the Browns.
Most likely they’ve seen this video and knew it to be flattering to a lovely young woman. Only reason they wouldn’t have used it.

I absolutely agree with other posters above that the attempt to smear Mrs. Brown by pedalling this video is the reason the vast majority of the really worthy people today avoid running for public office as it were the bubonic plague.
I am from a five generation long line of republican voters, contributors, volunteers . and holders of local offices. I have been asked several times to run for local offices and I immediately and loudly declined. I have worked for conservative candidates since the days of Nixon first run for the presidency and four years later for then Goldwater.n
I had the misfortune of being decent looking and was what women my age regarded as reasonably attractive, held a decent paying job, used my earning judiciously, and traveled around the world and especially to Europe and while there I often went to the beach attired in European fashion swimming suits which would provide convenient smear material and worse.
My wife even at 50 was a knockout and both of us enjoyed the fact we were physically attractive and considered heaven forbid sexy when we were younger. We loved the beach and made some completely tame photgraphs, super 8 movies, and later videos with friends and family at the beach while having a damned good time.
And shocker of all shocks we both actively and innocently like normal people dated others of the opposite sex before we married rather late in the game of life and there certainly are photos with some of our old dates floating about.
When asked to run for office I knew damned well some of the photos and videos of our actually sedate younger days would mysteriously surface and be used as smear material. As a result of the smear ploy in politics today both my wife and and the pain it would cause our son and his kids we have scrupulously shunned politics as candidates and settled for a drawer full of signed photos of former presidents, governors, and candidates who did not win along with some thank yous for your support.

Of course, I also thought hearing Elvis Costello’s “On the Beach” the other morning on KDHX was an experience, and “Radar Love” gets my heart beating and blood flowing. 80s music rocks. I was always meh on the song, but the video is one of the best of the Golden Age Of Videos. I was all of fourteen or so when this video was in heavy rotation on MTV…remember back when MTV was actually showing music videos?
You can imagine the impact the video had on the seething foam of hormones a typical, red-blooded American male. I had no idea that was Brown’s wife. Just one more reason to like the guy.
Hopefully, things like this and McCain’s wife’s photospread for NOH8 is ushering in the predominance of the South Park Republicans. We dearly need to strip the “cool” and “hip” factor away from the left. Not that we need it to win, but it’s pretty much all they have. If you want to grind them into the dust of history, it’s going to take removing ALL of their advantages over conservatism.

I am dismayed that so many here took the posting of a lame ’80′s video as some kind of attack on Scott Brown and or his wife. I see it as just poking a little fun at a now famous couple who happen to be Republicans. If we can’t laugh at our own then we are doomed. I think it is funny to see what things people did in the past that perhaps if knew then what they know now they might have passed on. It remains to be seen if Mr. Brown will in fact stay true to his election promises and stated values. We all know the corrupting effect Washington and the power brokers have on those who go there with the best intentions. As Beck explained on his radio show today, he was only joking about Scott Brown and poking fun at him for saying something so embarrassing about his daughters on national TV. I know how my daughters would feel if I had said something so dumb. Get over it and get on with it.

I certainly did not like some things said about Scott Brown by Glenn Beck the other day but I did not decide to not watch Becks program or stop listening to what he has to say. NOBODY agrees with everything someone says.
What makes this nation great is our ability to disagree but yet understand the others opinion and respect them for it and move on working towards common goals.
This is something the progressives are unable to do. If you do not agree with them in lockstep then you are banished and every other thing we see everyday from these people.
So then, are we going to act the same way over some things we disagree with ??? I’m removing you from my “list” and so forth.
Now to the important item, it’s OK for the left to show Bambi in swimming trunks and display his manboobs but it’s not OK for a fine looking young lady to do a video in a swim suit … a swim suit ??? There was no nudity or anything but a lady in a swim suit doing a video, SO WHAT. What you see now days in videos or in person on the beach makes this video look like someone on a bike with training wheels.
I guess I need to go down to the beach and inform EVERYONE that if they wish to get into politics as an Independent or a Republican then they need to get completely dressed or get off the beach immediately.
