Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack was on with Neil Cavuto this afternoon and talked about being pushed down outside of Martha Coakley’s lobbyist fundraiser by Obama Appointee Michael Meehan.
He just wanted his question answered but Martha Coakley blatantly ignored him…
And then Meehan pushed him down and roughed him up.

McCormack said he was pushed down right after he asked about Coakley’s DC lobbyist supporters.
She wouldn’t answer that question either.

More… Martha Coakley just insulted Fenway fans.

  1. Sorry isn’t good enough.

The thug needs to be prosecuted to tjhe full extent of the law.

  2. I say we do a test … What would happen if a Tea Party member had knocked down an aide to a Congress critter.

    That’s your answer.

  3. Enforcement of the law only when it benefits the democrats. Just a hint of the thuggery to come on Election Day.

  4. Meehan did more than push McCormick down. He also was active in blocking McCormick from asking Coakley a question.

  5. Martha Coakley just insulted Fenway fans.

What did you expect out of a Corruptocrat elitist like Coakley? Snobby elitists like her hate being anywhere near the “great unwashed” and “bitter Klingons” that go to places like Fenway or to a Bruins game.

At least St. Teddy and St. Tip, despite their flaws, did enjoy doing things like going to a hockey or baseball game or going down to the bar to talk to the folks in there and have a beer. Snobs like Coakley detest things of that nature.

  6. They use people. LIBTARDS couldn’t give a fiddlers fart about blacks, the elderly or poor.
    She uses them for power.

  7. Is it any worse in Russia? They beat up conservative protesters now they rough up reporters

  8. Probably nothing will ever come of this, so far as retribution or an assault charge against Michael Meehan, but it IS a portend of things to come…and very soon, I’m afraid. The thuggery seems to be running rampant and one political side seems to be dishing it out. How soon will it be before someone from the other side stands his/her ground and we have a riot on our hands?

What’s quite telling is the fact that we haven’t heard a single word from Michael Meehan. Not an explanation, no apology, nothing. It seems as though he’s waiting for a call from Rahm explaining what his next step should be.

From what we’ve heard thus far, if McCormack files a complaint, Meehan would be in legal trouble. That would cost him his high level, high paying, government position.

  10. McCormack should file charges. The other side would,
just for the publicity it would generate.

  11. I hope he sues the crap out of this SEIU wannabe thug…another obama appointee, go figure!
Thanks for posting the video GWP

  12. Ah, yes, Chucky Schumer at it again, in typical, classless form..
Here’s his latest descent into ‘dumpster prose’ while bringin’ out the vote for MA Martha..

  13. Robert, there are plenty of politicians who choose which reporters get to ask questions. Like Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann, for example.

  14. John McCormack is a decent man.

His decent character, however, allows himself to be abused and then ignored by manipulative and violent people. His employer should not allow that.

I would respect The Weekly Standard more if they supported their reporter to file charges of assault against Meehan and Coakley.

    Best regards, Peter Warner.
