Snobama: The Big Difference Between '94 and '10 Is "You've Got Me"

Obama told a retiring Congressman that the difference between this year and 1994, when democrats got clobbbered, is that, “You’ve got me.”
Rep. Berry is retiring anyway.

Berry recounted meetings with White House officials, reminiscent of some during the Clinton days, where he and others urged them not to force Blue Dogs “off into that swamp” of supporting bills that would be unpopular with voters back home.
“I’ve been doing that with this White House, and they just don’t seem to give it any credibility at all,” Berry said. “They just kept telling us how good it was going to be. The president himself, when that was brought up in one group, said, ‘Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me.’ We’re going to see how much difference that makes now.”

Bill Clinton is not an ideologue, he is an opportunist. This is why after 1994 he triangulated to the middle and co-opted the Republican Congress’s successes as his own (with the happy help of the MSM, of course).

Obama is a Marxist Ideologue. His “purpose” in being POTUS is to transform America into a Marxist Paradise of fairness and wealth redistribution. Add to that a monumental ego and you will begin to see what Obama CANNOT tack to the center.

So, the question is: Does Obamao really believe he can save the Blue Dogs’ careers after they against their constituents or did he just want the Blue Dogs to believe he could? It could be either as I doubt he actually cares about their careers. Heck, it’s starting to look like he doesn’t even care about his own.

In reading the headline to this post I thought the “You’ve got me” was actually a “You’ve got me, I don’t know” comment from the Won.

I spent forty years as a senior high history, U.S. government, and economics teacher at schools in a large urban area. Affirmative action arrived the third year year I was in the classroom. All three of high schools where I worked in the trenches had either a majority or a very large contingent of the two most highly favored benefitting etnic groups.

The Won has been a writ large benificiary of affirmative action and like the egomaniac entitled mediocrities products of affirmative action that I had to suffer for more than thirty years.
More often than I want to recall I had to accept affirmative action entitled students in an Advanced Placement class with reading scores at elementary school levels and grades in prerequisite classes that were indicative of academic non-performance.
Obama over the years he has been in the national spotlight, a media contructed spotlight, is a perfect illustration of another failed product of liberals much beloved affirmative action. Obamao keeps showing us that he knows little and is bereft of competency in all but inflated self-image, egomaniacism, and a sense of entitlement. Why does the word hubris jump into my consciousness.
