Shameless Liar: Actually Those Health Care Talks Really Were on CSPAN (Video)

Barack Obama can’t help himself. Today, in front of national cameras, the radical claimed that his hidden health care discussions were actually on CSPAN:

“The truth of the matter is that, if you look at the health care process, just over the course of the year, overwhelmingly the majority of it actually was on C-SPAN because it was taking place in Congressional hearings in which you guys were participating. How many committees were that that helped to shape this bill? Countless hearings took place.”
Senator Inhofe was right. Obama really does make Bubba look like a rookie. He’s the best liar we’ve ever seen.
Victor Davis Hanson added this on the president’s exaggerations and dissimulations:
“All politicians fudge on their promises. But this president manages to transcend the normal political exaggeration and dissimulation. Whereas past executives shaded the truth, Barack Obama trumps that: on almost every key issue, what Obama says he will do, and what he says is true, is a clear guide to what he will not do, and what is not true. It is as if ‘truth’ is a mere problem of lesser mortals.”

The only explanation for Obama’s incompetence I can think of is that it’s part of some rope-a-dope strategy that he is reckless enough to believe he can pull off. He’s become so preoccupied with earning the approval of the post-American Left that he embraces both the appearance and reality of weakness on the world stage. And to what ends? His OWN and no other. And you and I are sinners too. I’m an Espicopalian, and I heard Katherine Jefforts Schori speak today. I disagree with her on many things, but she reminded us that no matter our political views and allegiances, we are all created in God’s image, (you and me and Sarah Palin and, yes, Barrack Obama).
For many years I subscribed to First Things, or bought most individual issues, because I deeply respected the editors. No more. The hatred I read here easily matches that which I see on the Left, and thickly obscures the image of Christ I used to find in the magazine. Christ calls us to love. I fail at that at at one point or another every day. Sadly, I now wonder how many of you here even try, and how in the world, if you do, you think your leftie brothers and sisters in Christ could even see you’re trying.
