Shameless Liar: Actually Those Health Care Talks Really Were on CSPAN (Video)

Barack Obama can’t help himself. Today, in front of national cameras, the radical claimed that his hidden health care discussions were actually on CSPAN:

“The truth of the matter is that, if you look at the health care process, just over the course of the year, overwhelmingly the majority of it actually was on C-SPAN because it was taking place in Congressional hearings in which you guys were participating. How many committees were that that helped to shape this bill? Countless hearings took place.”
Senator Inhofe was right. Obama really does make Bubba look like a rookie. He’s the best liar we’ve ever seen.
Victor Davis Hanson added this on the president’s exaggerations and dissimulations:
“All politicians fudge on their promises. But this president manages to transcend the normal political exaggeration and dissimulation. Whereas past executives shaded the truth, Barack Obama trumps that: on almost every key issue, what Obama says he will do, and what he says is true, is a clear guide to what he will not do, and what is not true. It is as if ‘truth’ is a mere problem of lesser mortals.”

For many years I subscribed to First Things, or bought most individual issues, because I deeply respected the editors. No more. The hatred I read here easily matches that which I see on the Left, and thickly obscures the image of Christ I used to find in the magazine. Christ calls us to love. I fail at that at at one point or another every day. Sadly, I now wonder how many of you here even try, and how in the world, if you do, you think your leftie brothers and sisters in Christ could even see you’re trying.

Christ certainly was not timid in identify and criticizing wrong when he saw it. e.g. His constant criticism of the pharisees, scribes and others. First of all, you’re conflating not acknowledging one’s sinfulness with not acknowledging, whether just to us or just to himself we can’t say, particular sins. We all have blind spots.
Secondly, I fault Obama on all sorts of things, just as I do Bush and did Reagan, but it’s not right to call them names or apply psychiatric labels to them. That is not speaking the truth in love. Love believes all things; it wants to believe the best of people. When we stop looking with the eyes of love and humility before God, we imagine all the worst of people, and that’s what you’re doing towards Obama. He’s not a monster. He’s not the caricature you’ve made him out to be, and Christ had to die for your sins just as much as his.
You’ll say I’m preaching of course, but this is just Christianity 101, very basic Biblical teaching. Do I always practice it? Hardly. But I do acknowledge the truth of it.

Did you actually bother to watch the Baltimore Q&A? Was he using a teleprompter during that? No, he was not. And he handled the questions and articulated his points pretty damn well. The point of Birthers is that if Obama was born in Kenya then he is not qualified to serve as president under US law. That is law, not racism.
