Do you remember when top Democrat John Edwards denied fathering his love child?
Do you remember him telling the media he would be happy to take a paternity test?
He lied.
Today Democrat John Edwards admitted the love-child was his.
MSNBC reported:
For the first time, John Edwards is publicly admitting that he is indeed the father of a 2-year-old daughter conceived with Rielle Hunter, a campaign videographer with whom he had an affair.
In a written statement provided exclusively to NBC News, the former North Carolina senator and Democratic presidential candidate says he’s taking responsibility for the child, Frances Quinn Hunter:
“I am Quinn’s father. I will do everything in my power to provide her with the love and support she deserves. I have been able to spend time with her during the past year and trust that future efforts to show her the love and affection she deserves can be done privately and in peace.”
Thank goodness for The National Enquirer or this story never would have seen the light of day.
It’s a pretty sad sign for America that a gossip rag does a better job breaking news on philandering democrats than the mainstream media.

It is news when John Edwards tells the truth. It is a man-bites-dog thing.
And to think he was the VP candidate for the Democrats in 2004 and few if any Democrats seemed to see anything wrong with that.

This story isn’t about Edwards as much as it is about the MSM and the fact that they will never cover the shenanigans of one of their own – i.e., Democrats, unless forced to do so. When they finally do cover the shenanigans of one of their own, their story is about the evil Republican accusers, prosecutors, reporters, and discoverers of these acts.
The MSM has gone beyond 80′s-era “Pravda” with their fealty to the Marxists in Washington.

Had Edwards fess’d up during the primaries, most of his votes would have gone to Hillary Clinton, and she’d be president instead of Barack Obama. I’m no Hillary fan–just pointing out how the tawdry Edwards affair had a distinct impact on history.

The people have awoken and are in the process off voting the bums out. There are very few honest and ethical politicians. I can see thru the vast majority of them with ease. It’s laudable that he’s in Haiti, now, with people, supplies, doctors, etc. But, that aid he’s giving the Haitian people doesn’t erase his errors nor relieve him of the responsibility he has to his family and that little kid.
