Obama's Shocking Admission: Dem's Plan Will Force Bureaucrats Between You & Your Doctor (Video)

Barack Obama admitted yesterday that democrats “snuck” a provision into their nationalized health care bill that will force government bureaucrats between you and your doctor.

Real Clear Politics reported on this shocking admission:
“The last thing I will say, though — let me say this about health care and the health care debate, because I think it also bears on a whole lot of other issues. If you look at the package that we’ve presented — and there’s some stray cats and dogs that got in there that we were eliminating, we were in the process of eliminating. For example, we said from the start that it was going to be important for us to be consistent in saying to people if you can have your — if you want to keep the health insurance you got, you can keep it, that you’re not going to have anybody getting in between you and your doctor in your decision making. And I think that some of the provisions that got snuck in might have violated that pledge.“
Of course, if the health care talks would have been televised on CSPAN as Obama promised we might have seen the democrats “sneak” this provision into their 2,000 page health care package.
No wonder most Americans don’t trust Obama or democrats.

Perfect example of why a 2,000 page + monstrosity of a bill, created in Harry Reid’s office, by members of one party ONLY, passed by bribing several Senators with sweetheart deals using taxpayer money, might not be legislation we need now.

Let the “Progressives” finally go over the cliff and take the rest of the dims with them. There’s a growing list of state legislatures nullifying (any coming) Obamacare and the numbers grow by the day. Virginia’s legislature has already passed the preliminary hurdles and will soon put the whole mess up to a vote by full membership.

And why should we believe this?
On what evidence?
Based on the bad faith that produced these monstrous bills in the first place? Based on the trust we have in the Democrat legislative ethics in general? Based on the copious public record of the meetings during which the bills were (allegedly) “scrubbed”?
Occam’s razor. The simplest and most direct explanation is that they lied to us before the bills were presented, lied to us during the so-called debate in both houses of Congress, and continue to lie to us now.

Last year I was diagnosed with diabetes. Over the course of 2 months my doc put me on medication that has brought by blood sugar level down. I was also given counselings on exercise and change of diet. This has worked well as I have lost 35 pounds.
I still have my feet Mr Obama. The last thing I needed was a government bureaucrat over looping this process.

It’s not rocket science.
Only ones exempt will be congressmen or praetorian guard.
It will be a simple formula. Plug in the numbers.
Multiply age by 1,000; subtract what big gov single payer health already spent on you. The remainder is what they’ll spend on you now.
It’s similar to motor vehicle fleet management ‘repair or junk’ decision trees.

If your a slacker, a you owe me kind of person, Obama is for you. What kind of country gives tax rebates (our money) to people who don’t even pay taxes? What am I missing, folks? Thanks to Tom Bevan at RCP for spotting this. The president’s statement is shocking, enlightening, and in an odd and unfortunate way also encouraging. Folks, this admission tells us we’re not off-base and we need to stay vigilant so we’re not missing anything else in this scheme. This trillion-dollar government takeover of our health care system is full of “stray dogs and cats” (the president’s words, not mine), and that’s what we’ve been saying all along.
Commonsense conservatives have better ideas on how to start tackling rising health care costs. Reps. Paul Ryan, Mike Pence, Eric Cantor, John Boehner, and others have offered solutions. I commend their efforts to counter the White House’s attempt to ram Obamacare through as these Congressmen seek bipartisan, sensible solutions. I implore them to speak louder because we’re listening, and we’re counting on them!

I think President Obama’s admission was related to ability to keep one’s doctor and not government getting between patient/MD in decision making.
My health care reform bill:
1) Eliminate ban for pre-existing conditions – all those who cannot get competitively priced insurance on the private market should be able to buy into Medicare or be able to get a subsidy to make insurance affordable.
2) Mandate coverage for all US citizens. The basic coverage could be a bare minimum (even something that costs $1 a year). However, for the person who choses $1/year coverage, s/he will have to pay cash for everything else. (Thus the young, healthy people who forego insurance will have incentive to limit cost for the year and enroll in a plan next year; they will also be punished in a way because they will have to pay cash).
3) Make Medicare available for anyone who wants to buy into Medicare. Price it competitively. People can be free to buy a co-insurance or not, but everyone who wants can buy into basic coverage (80% costs) under Medicare.
4) Tort reform. Eliminate punitive damages. Cap compensatory damages. Do this nationally (even though malpractice law is mostly state-by-state).
