Obama Now Organizing & Radicalizing High School Students

From theory to practice, the Obama Youth Brigades are now up and running in high schools.
Atlas Shrugs reported last night that a reader, Chuck, has a student in the eleventh grade in an Ohio High School. Her government class passed out this propaganda recruiting paper so students could sign up as interns for Obama’s Organizing for America (OFA is the former mybarackobama.com site.)
Obama is using our public school system to recruit for his Alinsky-inspired private army. Organizing for America is (and I quote) recruiting in our high schools to “build on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda” …………of national socialism.

Um, recruiting people in schools has nothing to do with him being a socialist. If he was a capitalist, he still might be recruiting people in schools in order to carry out a capitalist agenda.
I think what makes people think he’s a socialist is the fact that he is pushing for more government spending and greater control over business–including a government-run healthcare system–not the fact that he’s recruiting people in schools.

But aside from that..Way more important is on the former mybarackobama it Literally says Barack is the NEW Jesus. Even with Barack Obama gone in 3 years (God forbid it be 7) we’ve still got an education system that prides itself on molding our kids into activists, rather than turning them into productive and critical thinking members of society.

This is hugely expensive. I divided the dollars appropriated by the number of “volunteers.” It came out to $228,000 per. Holy cow! BTW: Obama say it costs $1 million a soldier to fight the pseudo-war in Afghanistan.

Related is the little nugget in Obama’s SOTUS related to forgiveness of college student loans should they choose to a public sector job: “And let’s tell another one million students that when they graduate, they will be required to pay only 10 percent of their income on student loans, and all of their debt will be forgiven after 20 years — and forgiven after 10 years if they choose a career in public service, because in the United States of America, no one should go broke because they chose to go to college.”
Whatever happened to the notion of public service(read: community organization)? And gone are the days when the public sector toiled for lower wages than the private sector.

If you tried teaching Christianity in a public school, you would be hounded out, vilified and and sued. Marxism is a competing religion. We must identify it as such and press to keep it out of the schools.

Unfortunately, home schooling or parochial schools are not an option for most families.What all parents can do, however, is to ensure that their children are getting factual, historically accurate information with which to combat the misinformation and propaganda coming out of public schools. There should be no reason why every household should not have at least one good American History source of information written and edited by patriots. I could recommend Thomas’s “A Politically Incorrect Guide To American History”, as an easy entry into this subject matter. There is a trove of bibliographical information to delve further into an unabashedly patriotic presentation of our countries history. Good sources of American Military History should also be pursued. They’re out there. Above all, educate yourselves as parents and really talk to your kids about what they’re learning in school. Be armed and ready to debunk any of the propaganda that is being spoon-fed them. It won’t be easy, but seldom anything of great consequence is. If this seems preachy, well so be it. The brave, selfless heroes who have died for this country did not do so to make it safe for socialism.

Floyd – I believe you are correct. This type of propaganda distribution by a political organization for recruiting is illegal. In VA the state doesn’t allow distribution of political materials for recruiting; if this is a national, not a local club, program, then they are using the schools illegally to distribute their materials. It might depend on the states; however, I am pretty sure the government does not allow distribution of political recruiting materials like what is described in this post. Call ‘em out!! Don’t let these guys get away with ANYTHING!

Spunky, most parents send their kids to public schools because the alternative is immoral, irresponsible and illegal (which is, not to educate them at all) or not within their means (private school), not because the alternative is inconvenient (home schooling). Surely, you didn’t mean to come across as a condescending ass who thinks that all families can survive on one or no income as one of parents or the only parent stays home to school the kids.
Besides, even if parents who don’t mind the inconvenience (according to you) and home schooled their kids instead, the screaming brats that are left in public schools would ave to be dealt with one day deal as sociaized adults. Better to get involved in the public school system and drive its curriculum today than leave the kids with a future America filled with zombies to fight.

If kids don’t know what the cause of terrorism is (Islam), it will be tougher for them to fight terrorism when they are in charge.

This is a great video, and although I have watched it before, it is one of those videos that makes things extremely clear. It basically comes down to being a Republic ruled by law or an Oligarchy ruled by a group of people with a a leader at the head, who have sole power to control all the people. I’m thinking Obama is falling into the Oligarchy format with himself as the chief ruler and his czars as his ruling group. It is evident Obama has no intention of following the Law of the land.

The Left has been molding schools for decades, now we see the implementation of the next step, to recruit into a political youth corps. They grabbed billions of money thru the so-called “stimulus” so they have finally have in hand the money to fund this. The plummeting employment will have kids and their families rushing for it – they actually will need any money they can get for the household. Instead of the parents being the breadwinners, the children become the income earners, an upset inside the family unit, all deliberately engineered by the political class.
It’s very dangerous. The Left has succeeded in deadening the morals of this generation – the rampant sexual acitivity is a warning sign – it’s emotionless, without any affection or love – just mechanical and personally degrading. Add to that a systematic scapegoating of anyone who does not adhere to the approved political thinking, and the potential for cold brutality channeled and encouraged thru a monolithic political machine becomes ominously possible.

My sister works in the administration of a school district. A few months back I asked her about these youth brigades. She said that she hadn’t heard much about it and doubted she would because it is all voluntary on the school district level. She was pretty sure her district was not interested. They just didn’t have the personnel and couldn’t afford the personnel for it.
I will ask her again about it as soon as I can talk to her.

Hillary was droning on about this a couple years ago, she supporting the UNIVERSAL DRAFT to pull troops from overseas, and by drafting women in with men to make it brutally onerous on the PEOPLE for American to project American force abroad.

Last night on PBS, the federally subsidized program propagandized that the anti-establishment radically revolutionary hippies (SDS) of the 1960s were motivated by Kahlil Gibran’s early 20th century book, The Prophet. (That’s not listed above from Obama’s required reading for high school student apprentices.) The peaceniks painted banners across college campuses, “Would Jesus bomb Vietnam?” but that hardly means that they lived by the Gospel of Love themselves while demanding all tolerance for CHANGE into Marxism from society.
AS IF Obama’s educational emphasis would actually encourage literacy. Of all the Dhimmiwit kids joining his thug force, some will read and swallow the message of Alinsky to rise in his leadership ranks while most will be swallowing hearsay that “justifies” their hatred for equality under the law. Entitlements dissolve rule of law.
